Personality: Katsu can be describe in a multitude of words, two being kind and loyal. The boy was born into an honest, above middle-class family. He was properly raised and disciplined when needed, which shaped Katsu into an exuberant young man. He made friends whenever he could, with anyone he could, and anyone he couldn't would not mean he thought of them as an enemy. His kind nature is a perk to meeting new people, he often compliments others a bit much which he cannot help. Katsu's loyalty to friends and family cannot be matched due to the fact that they are his only drive, he will do anything to help or maintain a friendship. The only exception to this is murdering or harming an innocent person.

Katsu is quiet naive, according to his now deceased mentor, Surome Kaishin, she was Katsu's teacher and distant cousin. The boy learns by exhausting himself, he doesn't stop until he physically cannot continue. He used to be a slow learner, but his mentor's death inspired him to persevere through training and accomplish without doubt. Still some things aren't easy to come by which Katsu doesn't understand, by the means of oversimplified analogies is how the boy can understand best. Katsu is a dependent fighter, more of a team fighter with the exception of him being the only one fighting an opponent, Katsu will perform as well as he possibly can with the incentive of protecting a friend or family member.

Disregarding Katsu's pros, his good traits. Cons and negatives, flaws, they all still exist in every person no matter what. Even if Katsu seems extremely friendly and inspired, he can be rather difficult sometimes or too honest. His naivety plays into his honesty, a bit too much. He can sometimes be too truthful, no sugar coating, or the complete opposite. Katsu sometimes speaks without thinking and can offend others with a few simple words. With this, he can fail to understand others or their true emotions which he judges based off of his own personality. Katsu believes people wouldn't take offense to certain things just because he wouldn't, a terrible flaw. This can result in friendships gone bad, which causes Katsu to be extremely humble and filled with remorse in attempts to gain the friendship back.

Katsu's honesty is spot on, though. He tends to never lie even though it may harm him. For example, if a teacher was suspicious of Katsu cheating on a test or behaving badly, the boy would gladly admit it. Which then benefits Katsu in the eyes of others, an honest person is a somewhat good person. The only time Katsu could possibly lie is when protecting his friends or family. An example being, Katsu has been captured by an enemy whom is looking for a friend or accomplice of his. Katsu would lie or deny to speak at all, portraying his loyalty.

Katsu could never bring himself to betray a friend, unless they did something terrible as breaking the law or harming another friend of his. Katsu's sense of pride would lead him to attempt to handle the situation himself and disregard help or authority. However, if the evil-doer wasn't a friend Katsu would show no mercy. This doesn't mean the boy would harm or kill the person, he'd simply turn them in as an act of justice. Katsu takes great pride in being a student of Surome, it was his mentor that he'd die for, the boy considers friends of hers as family.

Likes:
• Making friends: Katsu is determined on befriending as many people as possible, with the exception of people who carry malicious intent.
• Learning new spells: Learning new spells and abilities is leeway for becoming stronger, which is what drives Katsu to continue.
• Adventure: New opportunities for fun, telling stories, and even making new friends is what Katsu thinks of as adventure.
Dislikes:
• Evildoers: The worst of the worst, packed with evil intent to harm innocents is why Katsu does not like evildoers as they are a threat to the people he knows.
• Alcohol: It tastes disgusting and leaves your body open, without control, Katsu doesn't please to drink.
• Conceited people: People who think they're all that and boast about it in public, Katsu cannot stand that.
Motivations:
• Surome's will: A will left for him, after his mentor/cousin passed away. He carries on just because of this will.
• Friends: Katsu takes pride in protecting his friends no matter what, friends are what makes Katsu thrive to improve.
• Rivalry: Although Katsu doesn't purposely make enemies, a close friend could possibly become a rival.
Fears:
• Achluophobia: The fear of darkness, and no this doesn't mean Katsu sleeps with his night light on. Briefly, his fear of darkness kicks in mainly during situations where enemies use this to their advantage.
• Atychiphobia: The fear of failure, something that would disappoint others is what Katsu tries to avoid. Especially his master, Surome who has passed away, he tries not to fail at jobs or learning spells.
• Agoraphobia: The fear which consists of no easy means of escape. Katsu fears situations that ensue no way out until the situation is over with.

Appearance:

Katsu is a teenager, fairly young, with messy dark blue and black hair. He has light brown-hued iris, he has a light skin tone. Katsu's hair comes around and covers most of his forehead, a large strand hangs down the middle of his face. Just between the eyes, as well as above his nose. The teen's frame is not too big and not too small, he isn't very muscular nor very skinny. Just in the middle, is Katsu's physical appearance.

Katsu sports a fur coat that is zipped up just below his collar bone, to reveal a black shirt beneath. He wears black trousers and black combat boots. In depth, the fur coat is a light black with white fur. The jacket dons a large hood which is line with the fluffy white fur. There is not much more to say about the jacket other than the fur which lines the bottom of it. The teen's black pants are more like slim jeans, they stretch down and cover up the top of his black combat boots. Katsu's boots have large and thick soles that make him look taller than he really is.
