Job: The Rarest Flower (Solo)

Victoria had woken up with a violent cough that morning, which, bless her luck, hadn't ceased during the rest of her morning. It wasn't until the late afternoon when finally, annoyed by Victoria's stubborness, the girl on the bar sent her right to the medicine shop to get something for that cough. Victoria had accepted after a pretty long argument, which she epically lost and decided to go, instead of getting even more embarrased.
The medicinal shop, thanks god, wasn't far away. She walked to it and entered, a grumpy look on her face.
'' Do you have anything for a cough?'' She asked trying to stay neutral.
''What ab-'' The guy that was attending her was interrupted by a woman's raised voice.
'' Please! My son's life depends on this medicine!'' She cried out, her eyes watery, begging the boy that was attending her.
I understand, madam, but you should understand that one of the main ingredients is missing and it is hard to achieve!''The biy said, completely desperate.
'' What's going on here?'' Victoria asked, coughing several times.
The boy on the stand explained to her that the woman needed a medicine becuase her son is ill, but they couldn't give it to her, since one of the ingredients is missing, and it is pretty hard to achieve, and they can't afford paying the employees to go and get that flower, because it is dangerous and the employees want too much.
''We put on a announce in Fairy Tail, but nobody actually has came yet.'' The guy said and handed her a job paper. Victoria regarded the jpb paper, but her eyes fell on the reward and she smiled. 2000 Jewels.
'' How many time does your son have, miss?'' She asked, putting the job paper in her pocket.
''Less than a day.'' She answered, sobbing.
'' I'll be back in a few hours.'' Victoria answered and showed her guild mark. '' Victoria Hunter, Fairy Tail. I'll accept your job.''
The woman thanked her various times and Victoria walked away, forgetting about the cough medicine, heading to the train station.

Victoria arrived at the entrance of the spooky forest three hours after the encounter in the medicine shop. Her cough had ceased, but her enthusiasm to finish the job grew bigger with every step. She wanted to save the poor child, since it was the important thing. The 2000 Jewels would be spent quickly, while the child would have many years to live if she saves him.
The forest looked really spooky, which is what makes the name logical. She rose an eyebrow and entered it, playing with a bang of hers. She had been warned about monsters, which is why she was focused and concentrated, ready to strike everything that approached her. This forest wasn't exactly the place where she'd go on a vacation, but the silence and calmness that were present right now in it were making her feel secure, which was one of her big mistakes. She had to wash that feeling away several times while focusing on the trees around her. A goddamn creature could jump from behind there in any moment. She didn't need the Dragon Slayer's ears to hear the sounds of creatures lurking in the dark. Those sounds were too loud. There was something going on here. No self-conscious creature would let their enemy hear them.

She turned around several times, a icy thorn in her hand, ready to summon the first magic on her mind. A fox would be a good creature to summon, if the creature is small and impossible to make the fox scared. Also, the eagles. They don't grow a personality, which is the thing that the fox does. And the exact same thing that can throw her many times in hard situations. Goddammit.
She could feel something watching her. She turned around to face nothing. Her heart beat increased, her breaths became more violent and irregular. When did she become such of a scaredy cat? She can't be a scaredy cat. She wasn't mentored this way. She had to be focused, dauntless, and always ready to attack. She gulped and walked to a pair of fallen branches on the ground. She took them and tried to stay clam, pulling a neutral mask over her face. She began throwing them in random directions, until she hit something and heard a growl, followed by the appearance of a pair of red eyes.

'Monster Dice' :

After the first pair of red eyes, two more pairs followed it and, soon, out of the shadows, three small figures appeared. They were not bigger than maybe two feet? Three? Apart from the size, they had pink fur on black dots, white stomaches anda leaf on the tummies. Victorie watched them for about thirty seconds with a rosen eyebrow, when she began laughing her head off at the sight of the goblins. Man, they were cute! Not perillous, but cute! She almost fell bad for having to eliminate them.
'' I-Ice Make: Fox!'' She said between laughs. The beautiful white fox appeared out of nowhere and looked at her master. With barely one look it understood its job.
The fox charged at the goblins, but one of them escaped and charged at Victoria. Without even thinking, she rose her foot and kicked the creature. It flew backwards, but it seemed to be still conscious. Meanwhile, the fox was finishing off the second goblin. Victoria ran at it and, with another kick, she sent the goblin at the fox. The ice creature stuck its claws and finished the goblin off.

After finishing off with the goblins, Victoria and her fellow fox continued their path in search of the white and rare flower. She looked around, hopeful to find it before something found her, but it was nowhere to be seen. Oh well, at least it would be easy to find, since it was possible for it to be the only white flower in this forest. Or maybe the only flower, for the matter. The fox looked around, curious, smelling the ground for potential monsters. It was cool to know that the fox hadn't grown a personality yet, but also she was worried that the fox would dissapear when she needs it. Which would be bad.
Suddenly, the fox stopped and its ears perked up. It looked around nerviously, watching at some random points. The monsters were near, no doubt. Victoria could hear silent growls, as well, so she summoned a thorn in her hand and prepared to block. And there, hiding between the bushes, was a...

'Monster Dice' :

It was a wild pack of wolves! Victoria looked beside her and cursed as she saw that the fox had dissapeared. She was in a bad position. She slammed her hands together and summoned the Eagles, them charging at two of the wolves, while the other two charged at Victoria. She kicked one in the stomach and send it away, while she stuck the thorn in the other one twice or thrice. The wolf fell on the ground, dead, while the other charged at Victoria and stuck its claws in her shoulder. She yelled in pain, but turned around and thrown the thorn at it. The wolf fell on the ground, half dead, and Victoria took out the thorn only to stick it three more times, until it finally died. She took out the thorn again and charged at the other two, despite the pain she felt, and hit them. One of them bit her, and she ran backwards, lookng at her knee. Damn. This was bad. She summoned a circular thorn shield just when the wolfs were coming at her, and they were unable to stop, so they got stabbed and died.
Victoria got up, panting, and looked at her wounds. Damn. This was bad. Her shoulder's wound was deep, so was the knee the wolf bit. She whinnied and tried to freeze her wound, but she was unable. Her beloved mentor forgot to teach her.She promised to herself that, when she comes across him again, she'd give him a good reminder.

Victoria had no idea where the flower can possibly be. She had been in this forest for hours, and she had no idea how many time she had left until the boy's final breath. Her knee and shoulder hurt, but she had learned to ignore the pain. On her way to nowhere, she had had a really calm trip. There were no more wild wolf packs, no more goblins, no nothing. She was thankful and really hoped it would continue like that, since she was fealing really exhausted, both magically and phisically. The forest had become silent, the only noticable sound the leaves being moved around by the wind. Her vision became blurry sometimes, but she was able to move that feeling away and focus. She was running out of unused magic, and their cooldown was way too slow. If an enemy popped out right now, she'd have it screwed. Like, really screwed.
'' Next time I better use my magic wisely.'' She said out loud, although she knew there was a possibility some monster to hear her. She sat on a rock, catching her breath and taking some leafs, cleaning up the blood. She had to go to a hospital soon, or she might get the wound pretty infected, and nobody wanted that. She broke her T-Shirt on the place where her torso was and and tied up the bitten place. She took a deep breath and got up, slowly walking away.

It has been a while. Victoria could sense that the forest suddenly became a lot more quiet, althought that this was no guarantee that there were no monsters in the shadows. The only sound she was able to hear was the wind swirling the leaves and her feet making contact with the ground. She found a small hill, which she climbed with a couple of difficulties, since her leg was bitten, but, hey. When she climbed it, she looked around, watching for monsters. It seemed that the forest was silent and calm now, no signs of monsters around. But there was something that caught Victoria's attention. A nearby meadow, with lots of beautiful purple, pink and red flowers, and, in the middle, a small white one. She gasped in delight and began climbing down the hill, heading over to the meadow. If she could only reach it quickly, then take the flower and go out of the forest to the place where you can get those strange vehicles that move really quickly and drown your lacrima down, she would be able to reach Magnolia in time. The wind had ceased, replaced by a slight cold breeze. Victoria ran, ignoring the pain in her leg, until she reached the meadow. She walked between the flowers to the centre, where a beautiful white flower stood. She picked it up with care and put it in a box that the boy in the medicine shop gave her. She turned around and walked away, a happy look on her face.

The road to the place where the exit of the forest was was really silent and calm. Victoria was feeling awesome, despite the fact that her wounds hurt. If she reached the town in time, the boy would live. It would recieve the medicine it needs and live. And Victoria would get another job done, which would take her closer to the C Rank, and then, to the B, then to the A and then to the S rank. She wanted to become an S Rank mage somewhere in the future. Her mentor had always told her that she must be serious and good in magic and have a lot of missions completed. And she was following his advice. As time passed, she would be able to learn more and more powerful magic, until finally, she could reach her mentor's level. She wanted to surpass him, yet not as badly as she wanted to reach the S class.
There was the exit. She could see it. She ran to it and when she reached it, she threw a fist in the air, showing her triumph to the creatures at the forest. Now, she had to find one of those quick vehicles that used lacrima. And quick.
She ran to the train station and asked around for about an hour, until finally, an old mage decided to give her his for that day and told her that tomorrow, she could return it. Victoria thanked him about a million times, hopped on the vehicle and connected her hand to it. She felt tired, at first, but she didn't care, as long as she reached her destination in time.

When Victoria reached the medicine shop, it was already night time. She got out of the vehicle and almost fell, since she was tired and had lost many blood. She knocked on the door and the boy that gave her the job paper opened her door.
'' I'm sorry but it is cl- Oh my! You're back!'' He put a hand on Victoria's waist and helped her in. The child's mother was sitting on a chair, tapping her foot nerviously. When she saw Victoria, she got up and looked at the young mage with hope in her eyes.
'' Job accomplished. Here's the flower.'' She grinned and gave the boy that was helping her out the flower. The guy stared at her in awe, but then shok his head and turned to his co-employee.
'' Give the girl her reward.'' He ordered and walked in a tiny room with the woman so that he could prepare the medicine. Meanwhile, the co-employee gave Victoria the money she earned, and the mage smiled.
'' Well, I am glad I was of help to you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna head to the infirmary before I faint.'' She joked and got out of the medicine shop, heading to the closest infirmary, hurt but happy.
