Get Rid of The Pesky Pesky Blockade (Kara, Paresse, Primo and Matabei-chan)

Job Information:

"Really? I'm the first one here? What a surprise."

Matabei sighed as she sat on a bench awaiting the rest of her team for this job. It was simple, well simple enough to her anyways, and she thought honestly she could do it alone. But getting help never hurt, so she decided to team up with a few other people. The first was Kara Matheson, the girl that her friend Marick took care of for a while. She wanted to finally meet her and get to know her a bit more, so she sent her a letter explaining the job and where to meet Matabei. Hopefully the girl got it, so she could join Matabei in having fun. The other two were mages from the opposite ends of the spectrum, one was in Tartarus and was a dark mage like her, the other a young mage from Fairy Tail. Matabei knew that there would be a few conflicts of interest, and that they all might not be on the same page during the mission. But she didn't care as long as she got to meet Kara. And secretly, she would protect Kara from harm for Marick. It was all she owed the man for what he did for her, helping her come to terms with everything.

Matabei sighed again and relaxed herself on the bench, trying to ignore the large group of people that were currently yelling at their client. It was somewhat annoying to Matabei, but she didn't want to waste her time helping the man. Besides, he could handle the people for now, when they got done with the job it'd be a relief to the man. Matabei closed her eyes and laid over the length of the bench, appearing as the only person who wasn't currently yelling at the poor station controller.

Kara's eyes darted around the train station as she pushed her way through the main gates. Tch...considering I'm here to help out, they aren't very co-operative... she thought to herself. There were an awfully large amount of people here, and most of them were less than happy with the fact they were having to wait a long period of time to travel from Clover Town to wherever their destination might be. Blue Pegasus is right around the corner, why couldn't they do something about it? Some guild they are if they can't even deal with the issues in their own town she continued, almost as if some unknown entity had been talking to her from the back of her mind. Once she'd managed to find a small clearing she began to look around. Somewhere around here would be a pale woman with long blonde hair wearing black clothing and a black beret. While this may suggest she'd stick out like a sore thumb, this certainly wasn't the case; a lot of men here were wearing black suits, whilst a lot of the woman were wearing their work clothes and occasionally a beret to match.

Kara turned in a full circle. Then again. Finally she closed her eyes and scratched her hair in frustration. "GAH! YOU'RE ALL TOO LOUD! SHUT UP FOR A MINUTE!!!" The crowd around her fell silent almost immediately and looked at the source of the noise. The noblewoman sighed with relief. "Thank you...now..." she said calmly, before she began to look around again. This time she was able to spot the woman she was after; Matabei Goto, sprawled right across a bench a few metres away from where Kara was stood. With the location of the woman established, Kara smiled and looked around at everybody. "Okay we're good, go back to your whinging." she called out happily, before walking over to the bench Matabei was sat at and sitting casually on the womans legs. It was a bench after all, so it was there to be sat on. "So, you're Marick's girlfriend right?"

"Does this mission honestly require four mages?" the young brunet asked herself, walking down the streets path as she attempted to get to the clover town train station. The young women, for once, had no books with her. Not a single bag was being carried which meant that she did not have any intentions of sticking around in this wretched town any longer then needed. She would complete the mission, and go. 

The young women's long brunet hair and knee long white dress with black fur trimmings danced along with the wind as she saw the gates leading into the train station, well, most of the gates that is. A crowed of people were gathered around it, probably complaining about their delays in travel plans thanks to the blockade. "Excuse me, Pardon my intrusion." The brunet spoke as she weaved in and out of the crowed of people. It was shortly after that she managed to get to the other side. "Oh thank you." She smiled, walking further into the train station. It was there she saw two females sitting up ahead. "I see I am not the first to arrive." She spoke, looking at the clock and seeing how she was exactly on time. However, getting closer she realized that they weren't just sitting, in fact, only one of the two was sitting. The other, a blonde, was laying down on a bench while the other, an odd violet haired girl sat on her lap. 

"Hello there, I don't mean to intrude," the young, mysterious girl began as she walked up to them, her face empty of any emotion. "but my name is Nyla. I was wondering if by any chance you were to be joining me in getting this train station active again?" She asked the two girls. It was then Nyla looked around. "Odd, i could have sworn that there was going be another person here to help." 

Primo arrived as he saw three people and then smiled. "I'm working with you then, well." Primo walked towards all three of them and then noticed he was the only guy and then said,"Well, that makes a team then." Primo starred and then said,"By the way, I'm Primo, you." Primo raised one hand and then heard a sound and then thought about that tree and started pacing around and then walked towards a giant tree and then looked to inspect it around." Primo thought of some ways to get it up and
Primo jumped on it then looked at people yelling and then Primo mutter to himself,"Get a grip." Primo started tapping it then said,"This will take some time." Primo got up then went over to the three girls and asked,"So, pick up the tree, or beat the bastards who did this?" Primo put his fist together and smiled thinking,"Lets do this." Primo looked at the people and then waited for their answers. Primo looked at the tree then said,"100 pies, BACH! Primo knew that he was going for the goblin and vulcan and looked for where the vulcan may be but found no trace and Primo said,"Fine tree lead the way."

Matabei waited until all three of her partners were there. The first to arrive was Kara, who sat on her legs and asked if she was Marick's girlfriend. Matabei did not show any outward reaction, but simply allowed her eyebrow to twitch slightly in annoyance to Kara's obvious teasing question. Matabei would let it slide, from what she could see when she cracked an eye open briefly the girl was almost down to exactly how Marick described her. Matabei would have an easy time spotting her out of a crowd, and so her job of making sure Kara stayed safe would be easier.

Next, a brunette girl came towards the duo and introduced herself as Nyla. Matabei noticed the girl had mentioned making the train station run again, which meant she was the third member of their little posse. That meant there was only one other person they were waiting on.....and then Matabei could end this god forsaken job. Matabei kept her one eye open as she looked for the last member, ready to get this job over with.

When the fourth member made himself known, Matabei's neutral face shifted so that it was one of withheld disappointment. Matabei hated working with males, the only ones she really got along with were the ones from her guild, Marick and Hidate. Matabei heard him introduce himself as Primo before he started rambling about random things. Matabei sighed as the boy went and did his own thing before she sat up, Kara still sitting on her legs.

"I guess we are all here. If needed my name is Matabei." Matabei said to the group, although she knew that Kara knew her name. Matabei sat up from the bench and placed her arms around Kara's neck, fluttering her eyebrows for a bit before giving Kara a bit of a flirty smile. "And to answer your question cutie, im not Marick's girl. But I can be yours." Matabei said with a wink, before bursting into laughter. Matabei might have seemed a bit crazy to the others, but she was going to have some fun with this mission. Matabei smiled as she looked at the group before sighing one more time. She addressed all three of them in a stern tone, her arms now around Kara's waist instead of her neck. "Okay, everyone know what we're here for?" Matabei asked, wanting to just make sure they knew the basics of what was going on. "If not that sucks for you. If we are all ready to go, just say the word and we can get this job rolling." Matabei said with a cocky smirk on her face, ready to prove her strength.

Kara giggled evilly as she watched Matabei's eyebrow twitch ever so slightly. She'd succeeded in winding the woman up, but only to some degree as Matabei sat up and, to Kara's horror, put her arms around her neck and hit on her. "EH?!" This wasn't what she'd planned at all! Kara simply sat there flummoxed, her face slowly beginning to go bright red. Before she had a chance to react though, Matabei was beginning to talk to the group as a whole, her arms now around Kara's waist. This was getting to be too much. Far too much. Kara pulled out of Matabei's grip and got to her feet, trembling and scowling. After a few seconds though she calmed down and let out a giggle. "Okay...okay that was fair."

She'd never been made to feel that uncomfortable before, except perhaps at that party she'd gone to with Marick as her escort. On that occasion though it was more her fault, and she knew that. But this Matabei...she was going to be a challenge. Marick picks either good friends or really weird friends...but...I WILL win this, Matabei. Just you wait and see. she thought to herself as her eyebrows lowered and she gave the dark mage a particularly evil grin, one that probably wouldn't have looked out of place at Savage Skull.

She then turned her attention to Nyla and Primo who had just joined the party. "My name is Lady Kara Matheson. Mi'lady works as well." she introduced herself jokingly, winking as she spoke her last sentence. Kara turned to look back at Matabei now. "So...what's the job? You didn't really explain it much in the letter, just that we had to help out here."

Primo listened to the girls speaking and then said,"Sure Primo looked at the Nyla's eyes and then saw a little piece of memory and then noticed she was a Tatarus guild member. Primo walked up to her and said,"So,witch one am I going for?"
Primo then clenched his hand and started to the others and then saw the tention between them then waked backwards seeing that the one blonde was a savage skull member and she hated guys so Primo stepped back looking into her eye and saw  familiar faces. "Hidate and Marick."   Primo never expected to see those two and Primo then sat on the wall waiting for everyone else to approve of this so we could get this over with and Primo waited and fell asleep thinking,"I wonder if someone would try to kill me asleep." Primo woke up and started looking at Matabei and thought," Why does she hate guys so much,Meh." Primo then flipped up and pulled out his notebook and put,"Time to end it! Primo then kicked the wall and said to himself,"Let's do this Primo then looked up ready to end it ready to fight but then thought about the ways to settle it when he was against the vulcan or the goblin and then closed his notebook."

Matabei ignored the kid, he seemed to be in his own little mind and thus it just irritated her more than anything. She turned to Kara and nodded her head in Nyla's direction, getting off the bench and dusting herself off slightly. "Kiddo over there is right girlie, we got a couple of dumbo monsters to take care of, so why don't we get this show on the road already." As Matabei spoke, she started to walk towards the Station controller with a sway to her hips. This wasn't to try and seduce anyone, but just her regular walk. Although seduction was a nice bonus, she just approached the station controller and tapped him on the shoulder, the crowd having dispersed not too long after the group gathered.

"Heyo! We're the four mages you hired for this job!" Matabei said in the cheeriest voice she could muster. The station controller looked at the group, and sighed in relief. "Oh thank heavens! You finally came! Those damn creatures are holding up the tracks still!" Matabei placed her hand on the man's head and made a shushing noise. "Don't worry your little ol' head. Us four can take care of the problem no sweat." Matabei turned back to the group, a cocky smile on her face. "Okay you three, we need to hurry this up. I got places to be, people to talk to." Matabei looked at Kara for a while after saying that, before returning her attention to the group as a whole. "And for god's sake don't do anything stupid." She said in a bit of a harsh tone, not really wanting to have to save someone's skin. Or tell a guild why their member got offed.

Matabei seemed incredibly cheery and incredibly flirtatious when she spoke to the station master, although Kara noted it was most definitely a front. This was proven further when the woman stopped her lively demeanour and returned to her dark and harsh-toned front, stating she had 'places to be and people to talk to'. She was taking the leading role in this job and she was making that clear almost immediately. Kara actually had half a mind to walk over and smack her, but held herself back. Someone had to take charge of this mission, and Matabei was a friend of Marick's so Kara felt she could trust this woman regardless of her questionable attitude.

"I don't intend to go back to Hargeon in a box, especially not if we're only facing a couple of creatures. Nyla is right, we can split into pairs to take these things on. That way we've always got someone covering our backs." Although she wasn't necessarily the fighting type, Kara was excited at the prospect of showing what she could do, especially if she could try and outclass Matabei. What better way to embarrass the older mage than to be better at fighting?

Kara did have her concerns though. Nyla seemed dependable enough, if somewhat vacant and unnerving thus far. Matabei was obviously able to take care of herself as well. But the single male of this team was questionable. He was muttering to himself, constantly on the move and yet achieving very little. Either he was insanely nervous, or he was having some kind of a breakdown. Whatever the case they'd have to keep an eye on him. If it weren't for Marick, I'd probably have given up with the male population...

Primo dodged the vulcan and then flip kicked the vulcan in his face while taunting it and then Primo disappeared while droping down on it and threw it over while Primo looked at the goblin and thought about the ways to take him down so Primo started making a barricade of earth and Primo then sent rocks flying at both of the monsters and then Primo flip kicked the goblin away and pushed the goblin away, Primo then pushed them back while Primo then stood on top of the vulcan while he looked at the three girls and then blew himself up and kicked the goblin Primo the walked back waiting for the two to charge and as they charged Primo blocked and the as he droped down Primo spinned on the ground and spined and flew up like thunder going backwards and Primo then made he vulcan flip him and Primo then grabbed the vlucan and threw it at the goblin and saw them land at the tree and then asked them,"So,are you gonna pick the tree up or brute force?"They refused so Primo threw them and said,"time to finish it." Primo walked towards them and said,"I'll leave you with the girls." Primo then walked and sat down

Matabei stopped talking the station controller when she noticed the two brats not named Kara move away and try to start the mission without the duo standing with the man that was to give them the mission. She frowned, obviously upset that they would start the fight without the ink maid and Kara. She sighed and simply turned back to Albert, giving him a nod to let him know that they could handle the mission. She signaled Kara with her head to follow her over towards the Vulcan, who happened to be staring at Nyla and Primo with a critical eye. Or at least, what Matabei considered to be a critical eye. She couldn't tell.

"With four of us this should be easy. Kara, just back me up."

With that, Matabei rushed towards the Vulcan. It noticed her easily and swung a giant fist towards her, which managed to hit her in the gut as she did not have time to stop and block. She did manage to avoid the second attack, and send two sharp kicks towards the ugly beast as it was stumbling. Unluckily for Matabei, the Vulcan easily dodged both kick attempts. Matabei however, did not falter and simply rushed with a third strong kick towards the beast, which managed to connect with its face. She followed that up with a large punch to its gut, knocking it back further as she huffed some breath out. Sighing, Matabei simply settled back into her stance and waited for the Vulcan's next move.

Kara hadn't been on a job with another mage before, but she was pretty certain they were supposed to speak to the client before rushing off on this occasion. She glanced at Matabei and it seemed she was thinking something similar. The Ink Maid gave the station controller a nod as if to confirm they would take the job, then turned her attention to Kara. "With four of us this should be easy. Kara, just back me up." The Amethyst mage nodded and followed behind her teammate. Today was going to be quite crazy it seemed.

Kara hung back for a moment as Matabei began her assault on the vulcan. She seemed to get two solid hits in on the Vulcan, but took one in return as well. As Matabei stepped back, the Vulcan simply turned its attention to Kara. Its eyes went from round and black to pink and heart-shaped. "Pretty lady hurhurhur." Kara looked at it in disgust as it rushed towards her. It attempted to wrap its arms around her, but Kara was a tad faster as she kicked one hand clear, and used the momentum of her movement to perform a side-roll to duck under the creature's other hand. She hadn't been able to deal any damage yet, but at least she hadn't ended up in its clutches.
