Flight of the Fairies (The Great Taco Chase)

Boredom. A blight upon all of humanity, a force so vile and foul it torments the mind of every mortal being alive. On this day, a cruel horrible dull day this dark power laid it's grizzly sights upon everyone's favorite pint-sized mage Simon Baggon. He grumbled as he tossed aside a finished comic book over the edge of his self made nest in the guild hall. Having finished all of his reading material and with no job scheduled for a while Simon was completely and utterly bored out of his mind. His current location was his top quality living quarters known as the nest, just a bowl of newspapers, blankets, comic books and duct tape built into a corner of the guild ceiling. He casually looked down on the guild below, even the people below in the guild seemed to be feeling sluggish and dull today. Which meant by consequence Simon was deprived of what could have been top quality entertainment. So he was left to his doldrums. It would not be for several long boring seconds that Simon would get any idea of what to do. But when the idea did come to him, oh how it came to him.

He would do a pro-grade acrobatic pirouette off of his respite above the guild and dropped down to the guild floor, landing on his feet with a thud but not feeling any pain from the fall as his God Leg magic absorbed the impact. He looked at the all the people in the guild around him and yelled "OI OI OI OI OI! I will buy 10,000 tacos for anyone who can touch me within 30 minutes! But only the first person gets the prize! Starting now!" With that, not even waiting from a reaction from the crowd Simon sprung into the air with super human speed and sailed straight out of an open guild window into the streets of Magnolia. He jumped up onto a roof with ease and started running, he was going to have fun today even if it meant going totally broke buying tacos.

Simon had narrowly avoided running straight into Heero, doing so would have cost him 10k tacos, but stopped just short. He panic'd for only a moment and mentally scolded himself for making the prize tacos especially with people like Heero and Ebony around. Now normally Simon would have waited for Heero to finish his ego speech before bolting but today was a day unlike any other and there was simply too much on the line. So the little speedster had already dropped into the streets of Magnolia and bolted through the crowd as fast he was able. He knew Heero would be close behind him as he ducked and weaved through people so he prepared to use the first of his many weapons. You see Simon had always been prepared for a day when it was him against his own guild and had several Anti-Fairy Tail weapons ready to go, he felt bad having contingency plans against his own allies and he also felt bad for using them but there were 10 thousand tacos on the line there could be no hesitation and no faltering.

He reached for a pouch at his waist it contained a quantity of caltrops made of a magic lightning redirecting metal that Simon had forged himself and pulled out a handful, if Heero was going to try to turning into lightning to catch him he was in for a nasty surprise. But Simon didn't want to use them just yet as they would slow Heero down slightly at best. He was desperate to protect his taco money so he would do whatever it took. Simon was putting more of his eggs in the escape basket as he rushed through the swirling mobs of people and ducked into an ally. For most this would be game over, a dead end, a last second desperation move but for Simon it was a chance to shake Heero. As he ran towards the building at the end of the ally not slowing as he got close to it he would at the building and run up the side of it coming back on to the roofs of Magnolia Town. Simon scattered a hanful of his Anti-Heero Caltrops on the roof and jumped down the other side of the building and kept running putting a line of buildings and lightning snaring magic spikes between him and Heero.
