IV. Faction & Group Rules/Information
~ Credit to Midnight ~
A. Guild Information:
- Info:
1. A mage can leave their guild at anytime. However, you may only rejoin it once with permission of the guild master. Quitting your guild a second time will result in a permanent ban from the guild.
2. A mage can join a different guild by leaving their previous one and getting accepted by the guild master of said different guild.
3. Guild masters have the ability to ban a mage from their guild.
4. After a Guild War, the losing guild will be disbanded and its members will become guildless until they are accepted into another guild.
5. By completing jobs, a guild can claim points. When the job is done and approved, post a link to the job's thread in the Guild Scoreboard thread.
6. Excluding the guild master, only three members of any guild can be H-Rank. If, at any point, the guild exceeds this limit, one or more H-Rank members must either leave the guild or become part of the Outer Circle of the Magic Council to represent their guild. Members that have learned guild spells will not lose them when becoming part of the Outer Circle. Members can also switch around and take turns being in the Outer Circle. However, once in the Outer Circle, the member has to in there for 3 months, at least, before being able to switch out.
8. A guild master is automatically S-Rank, but is considered SS-Rank (halfway between S and H-Rank) until they achieve H rank.
9. Once a guild master has achieved H-Rank he or she is able to select one member of their guild (given the title of "Guild Ace") to train them to H rank.
10. This chosen member needs to have been a member of the guild for at least three months and proven that they are loyal.
11. The chosen member cannot randomly be demoted and unless they leave/are killed no other member can be chosen to be raised to H rank.
12. A guild can have up to three guild spells that are classified as H-Rank spells.
13. Any and all guild members who possess their guild's guild spells and leave are no longer allowed to use these spells, including the guild master.
B. Magic Council Information:
- Info:
1. The Magic Council is in charge of the Magic World of Fiore. It is separated into an Inner and an Outer Circle.
The Inner Circle consists of 5 members and the Chairman. They each have 1 vote when an issue is to be voted upon. The Chairman's vote counts as 2. The Inner Circle is the legislative branch that creates new laws, decides on which course(s) of action to take when problems arise, and deals with criminals in a court of law and justice.
The Outer Circle consists of chosen representatives of each legal guild. Each guild can have more than one representative. Generally these spots are reserved for former guild masters, Aces and other mages who are trusted to speak on behalf of the guild in the Magic Council. These mages are no longer on the list of active members inside the guild, but become their own unit in the Position Thread. The Outer Circle is the bridge of communication between the Inner Circle and the Guilds. They provide guild assistance to the Inner Circle when necessary, and hold a voice the Inner Circle has to listen to and consider when making decisions.
2. The Magic Council is responsible for keeping the peace. The Inner Circle can order arrests for certain mages that have disobeyed the law. During an arrest, the Magic Council either hires other mages to capture the outlaw, or sends out its own members to deal with the issue. Once the outlaw has been captured, there will be a trial to decide on the punishment.- Process:
- Discussion Thread: In this thread all Magic Council members come together to discuss a certain topic. A link to the thread needs to be provided in case of an arrest, or something that has happened in another thread that the MC needs to respond to. However, unless they have actual PCs ( Player-controlled Characters ) as spies inside the thread, they can only know of things that have happened in public. Without spies they cannot know of things that happen under the radar. In this thread all 9 members will give their opinion on the matter.
- Decision: After hearing all opinions the MC will have to come to a conclusion on what needs to happen. All members will then vote to decide whether they will go with a plan or go with a different one.
- Hiring: In case of an arrest. The MC can hire a mage to hunt down another. No killing is allowed and the other mage needs to be brought to court. At least 1 MC member will need to have a private thread with the mage they want to hire to establish a reward and to sign a contract. In the contract the MC will need to provide details on the target, a time limit, a method of capture limit, and a reward. It is the other mage's choice to enter the private thread with the MC or not.
- Trial: Once the outlaw has been captured they will have to appear before the Council. Questions will be asked by the MC to determine the punishment. The mage's behavior during the trial will be significant to determining the punishment.- Punishments:
- Warning: The Mage will receive a warning by the Council. The amount of warnings a mage has had can indicate how severe a punishment should be.
- Fine: The Mage will have to pay X amount of money.
- Service: The Mage will have to do one or more jobs for the MC. For a certain amount of time.
- Prison: The Mage will be in prison for a certain amount of time. While in prison, the member is only allowed to have one personal thread with his or herself. The thread will have to be a certain amount of posts, and every post must have a certain amount of words. In order to be released from prison, the member must complete the thread.
- Assassination:
In extreme cases, members of the MC can order an assassination on another mage. Assassinations can only be executed by a Dark Mage or a Guildless Mage. The assassin and the target will have a fight to the death. A contract must also be established in a private thread with the assassin first.
An admin must be contacted for approval of the assassination.
3. The MC can disband a guild by opening a thread declaring valid reasons for the Guild to be disbanded. With links to the threads where the guild broke the law.
- An admin must be contacted for approval.
4. The MC can fund certain projects of mages or guilds.
