Pig Outbreak (Mission, Kaligos, and Akihime)

Kaligos' nose burned. The smell of farm land times a thousand was not exactly something he enjoyed. The soil under his feet wasn't exactly soil, rather treated ground, and what made everything terrible was that there had recently been rainfall int his area. Leaving puddles of mud all around the ground, and through it all ran the pigs. Disgusting creatures really, Pigs were loud, quick little creatures, that had special stomachs designed to eat just about anything, and set free from their confines that was exactly what they were doing.

From the fertalized treated ground to rolling in the mud the pigs seemed have become the worst smelling, and perhaps dirtiest creatures Kaligos had ever witnessed, and the worst part... there was at least a hundred of them. Suddenly the theives they had ran away from seemed all the easier to deal with. Rather then spending what was bound to be an entire day running through the mud and pig refuse, and god knows what else to catch these creatures. Kaligos was glad he hadn't worn anything near his good clothing. Rather just a shirt that already had several holes in it, and a pare of slack pants. Taking a deep breath in through his mouth he caughed this being one of the rare areas of ground he had no desire to eat. Standing back he suddenly hated the fact that he had his senses so acurately tuned, and waited for Akihime to arrive. It was a new day, and a new mission. This was supposed to be easy, but it was bound to have it's own unique set of challenges.

Usually Kaligos was all for being dirty, but this was a little much even in his books.

Kaligos shook his head at the idea of his magic molding the earth, and herding them into their pens. "Doesn't work that way. My Magic is all self generated, I can adapt my body to the earth, but I can't really mold the earth around me. I guess if i really tried I could make a holding pin by eating away a large enough pit but." Kaligos looked at the ground with a small amount of disgust. Farm lands was certainly not what he would have called a good meal, and the idea was far less then sanitary in his mind. Oh sure it was firtle soil, but farm animals walked, played, and shit on these lands. With a small sigh it hit Kaligos that they would have to do this by hand. "You couldn't pay me to eat any of this mud water."

Kaligos thankfully didn't have any-sleeves to roll up, and aside from him never wanting to be around another animal ever again he was steady getting used to the smell. The ground felt soft under his bare feet, and it was just another reason he was going to need some kind of shower after all of this. Still it was a job that had to be done. There was only 20 in all, so it wasn't going to be that hard hopefully. Sadly they couldn't just use a feeding pale, or something easy like that. "Well best way I can see doing this is just to dive in." Kaligos didn't usually talk about his plans, he was more the one to just jump in and do, but this was not a task he wanted to just jump in and do as sad as that sounded.

"Right then...For bacon!" He said finally pulling himself away from his stand as he jumped into the field, his first thought being that maybe he could rush the pigs and get them to run from him... Which in truth he did... the problem being that the immediately scattered in several directions from him. This... This was it's own brand of hell.

A wet thud rang out through the field, along the harsh sequel of one of the pigs. Kaligos's methods were clearly not getting him anywhere as the pig he had been trying to get chase had some how knocked him off of his feet, thanks in part to the very poor footing he had in this wet ground, and Kaligos ended up head over heals in what he prayed to gods was simply mud.

Kaligos let out a rather loud growl. getting to his feet slowly. His eyes shadowed by his long hair and the mud water that covered his face. Turning to the nearest pig he jumped on it grabbing it and holding it. His body turning to stone alowing him to lift the weight of the pig, and at the same time grab another. He started walking from the field to the pig pen, his feet sinking into the ground thanks to the extended weight of his scales, but also allowing him to lift two of the heavier slower pigs at a time. Dumping them back into their pen. While Aki could herd the more obediant ones back to where they belonged Kaligos could grab the heavier more disobedient ones and get them where they needed to go.

Both ways though it was looking to be a long day of work.

Kaligos looked at the last pig, even with his scales activated he doubted anyone would have had the strength to lift such a huge pig. He frowned for a moment trying to think on a way to move it. Walking up beside Akihime, slicking the mud from his body. Lifting the pigs had left him far dirtier than the earth mage, and while he certainly wanted to get clean he was also certain that he wanted to burn his clothing. In fact there was little doubt in the fact that what he was wearing now would never be worn again.

Returning to the pig at hand however Kaligos shrugged. "I have no idea. If we had some wood and a barrel would could construct a pig launcher, but even then how do we move it without hurting it." Or worse having it hurt them. This was the last well third last one they had to deal with, and they needed a brainstorming session to get it done.

Still Kaligos walked away for a moment grabbing the two piglets as quickly as he could the two squeeled as he gripped them and then walked them back to the pen. They fought him at every step however, trying to break free of his stone grip, but Kaligos put them back where they belonged quick enough. "What if we put a leash or some kind of muzzle on it, then we could drag it back to the pen."

Kaligos nodded as he took the rope. In all honesty he had no idea why she would want to push on the large pig. Pulling seemed like the much cleaner though much harder job. He tied the leash around the pigs neck light so that even as he pulled it wouldn't be choking the creature. Walking a few feet from it, he breathed and turned his hands to crystail. his dragon slayer claws allowing him to lock down his grip on the rope and pull harder. Also it prevented rope burn, and currently he needed every advantage he could get when dealing with these creatures.

"Ready?"

His feet sank slightly as he started to pull gritting his teeth as he used his legs and shoulder to pull the creature, and then finally with the help of Akihime's pushing he felt the creature give as they slowly but surely made there way to the pen where they could lock up the creature. Kaligos opened the pen door using himself as a barracade to make sure that none got out as he pulled the large beast inside.

"Close the gate!" He yelled the moment they had the large creature inside they would be finished.
