Description:
Endless Hunger Magic is a magic that is only developed in the bloodlines of a very ancient and powerful clan of wizards/ witches. The magic only shows up once every few hundred years normally in a male host and one powerful in the arcane arts. The magic fester’s inside the caster until they are ripe and able to use the magic to its fullest. Once this occurs the magic will engulf the caster making them a bottomless pit for magic and have a constant hunger for more power. The magic due to being only seen once every few generations of a certain bloodline is considered a Lost or Mythic magic. Often the magic is associated with the ancient kingdom of the Psys. The land was ruled by a talented magical family gifted with the knowledge of the pure arcane, this magic was developed after the family sought after more ways to bend the natural magic to their will and use it for militaristic ideas along with keeping those beneath them at bay by limiting the magic that they would possess. The magic back fired on the family and instead consumed most of them leaving very few with the bloodline ability to withstand the magic’s full effects.
The magic takes its form in a black aura that is capable to sucking in/ draining magic from the air around it and from vessels that use the magic. The aura while hard to contain at the start of the development is able to be molded and crafted into more combat style allowing its attacks to be homing for the sack of eating magic. While the caster of this magic cannot directly absorb the magic into their own pool they naturally will gain more magic than a normal mage in the recovery system gaining the normal 10% at first but it going up in increments of 10 every 5 post after the original, this will build up to 30 before plateauing. The magic may be considered a blessing to most but after the 30% occurs the vessel for this magic will begin to harm allies and foes alike for the hunger will be too much to control causing them to attempt to feed on any source of magic that is available to them.
The magic’s abilities come in three main aspects: Offensive/ Defensive/ Draining, or a combination of the three. Offensive based spells general take the form of a black substance crafted and molded from the hunger itself. The substances like maker magic can be molded into any form that the caster sees fit but normally takes on the shape of an orb or orb like objects due to the simplistic shape making it much easier to control for the caster. Defensive base spells are normally seen as just the vessel for the magic just sucking a spell completely dry of its magical energy until it no longer is a threat for them, very few/limited external defensive uses. Draining spells are more or less the idea that the user is a black hole for magic. They naturally draw out the magic in everything around them so taking control of that aspect and purposefully draining another for energy is just a small glimpse of the draining’s full power. When fully mastered the caster can draw in magic and life energy of things around it at such a high rate that things literally wither and die before their eyes. The draining aspect can be found in both the offensive and defensive sides since it is such a huge part of the magic. While the offensive spells have the draining aspect associated with them they will be on a degree much less than a pure draining spell.
While the magic is indeed a powerful and lost magic it does have its faults and major draw backs. For starters the magic is prone to targeting allies just as easy as it is with enemies. The homing aspect due to the hunger focusing in on a magic to devour, if a caster is not concentrated they can easily set one of their spells off its course attacking the nearest source of magic outside the caster themselves. The magic’s use of the vessel as a parasite causes the user’s lifespan to be cut down to nearly only 50 years of age before the magic will turn on the caster and start absorbing their life force. While this may not harm a younger mage it is a constant threat for those reaching the golden years of their lives. The magic consuming the caster’s mind trying to suck up any and all magic is also a constant threat. A new vessel for the magic often times sucks up magic around them without even realizing it, potentially harming friends and innocents, once the magic is used for so long at an extended period of time the magic will auto kick into control of both the vessel’s mind and body attacking and consuming any and all life near it. The magic being so combat powerful lacks in side based spells such as healing, flying, or speed buffs.
Strengths:
- Magic Absorption, naturally and within attacks
- Homing Attacks due to the hunger from the magic
- Higher magical recovery rate
- Powerful Offensive and Defensive magic
- Natural magical protection for the vessel of the magic
Weaknesses:
- Magic will eventually kill the caster at a younger age than normal
- If a caster stays in a combat style thread for over 30 post will cause them to go into a rage not knowing friend from foe
- If a caster uses more than 4 spells from this magic in a single thread will cause them to go in same rage stated above
- If caster does not have full consentration spells will lose homing effects
- Lacks in support style spells
- Magic based in nullifying will stop all abilities of this magic along with the spells. Nullifying based magic will auto gain a rank of power against this type of magic due to the polar spectrum of the powers, this one consumes and absorbs while the other just erases
Abilities/Powers:
The Hunger- The hunger is a natural side effect of the magic that allows the caster to naturally feed off the magic in the environment around them. This will not do anything in the grand scheme but will allow the caster to forgo the need for sleep, food, water, or even oxygen due to the magic that they absorb fueling their body.
Natural Barrier- The magic forms a natural barrier right around the caster’s skin. This barrier is seen as almost the last ditch shield for protecting the vessel that the magic is in. It will naturally absorb all magical attacks two ranks or below the caster’s own the second that they would touch his body. This can be used on all forms of magical skills/ weapons/ armors/ pets/ items/ abilities that one can fathom, just as long as they are below two ranks of the caster. If they are only 1 rank or none at all the barrier will do nothing.
The Craving- This allows the vessel to naturally sense magic at a level no others can. This allows the caster to see where magic gathers and the amount of magic that is flowing in an area. This allows him to sense the magical force of all those within a 10 meter + an extra 10 every rank after D, radius of the vessel. This will allow knowledge on things such as: rank of a person/ spell/ objects, location of mages/objects/spells in that area, and a person’s current magical stamina. This boost his own reaction speed to near inhuman due to him being able to follow magical signatures.

Description:
Faust will cause a bit of black energy to build up around his arms and hands. He will make a motion similar to either shooting a gun or drawing a bow and arrow. A small orb of black energy will build up roughly the size of a marble. Once he decides to launch the attack it will travel at a speed of 10 m/s when traveling a straight line, if Faust is concentrated enough and skilled enough he can kick in the homing feature allowing him to lock onto another’s magical signature adding an additional 10 m/s to the speed of the attack. If an enemy is struck by the attack they will receive D rank damage, capable of bruising and minor puncture wounds to the skin. The spell will drain 5% of the target’s magical energy when struck. If a straight line function is used will travel up to 20 meters before dispersing back into nothing, if homing feature is used can go up to 30 meters away before this occurs.
Strengths:
- A fast spell that has a chance to home
- Drains an enemy of 5% magic if struck
- Deals D rank damage if struck
Weaknesses:
- Must be focused to use the homing aspect
- If he is not focused and just shots the spell off it will only go in a liner fashion
- If he uses the homing feature the spell can be redirected by a spell that is above Faust own rank. The spell will instantly target that source of magic
- If Faust does not activate the homing feature spell’s true speed will be drastically slower.
- The spell requires Faust to make certain hand motions before it can be used.
- The spell runs the risk of activating the Hunger in Faust just like the rest of his other spells.

Type: Offensive
Description:
Faust will cause two black disk to appear in his hands, both appear to look like buzz saws and will spin at a high speeds like saws. The disk will each be 6 inches in width. They will be able to be thrown at speeds reaching that of 15 m/s, 20 m/s if using the homing aspect. The disk can go up to 30 meters before disappearing, 40 meters if chasing somebody with the homing aspect. Each disk is able to deal D rank damage, slicing a person that they strike causing minor cuts and bruising, each disk will also siphon off 5% of the magic from the enemies that they will hit.
Strengths:
- Two chances to hit
- A fast spell that has a chance to home
- Drains an enemy of 5% magic if struck
- Deals D rank damage if struck
Weaknesses:
- Must be focused to use the homing aspect
- If he is not focused and just shots the spell off it will only go in a liner fashion

Name: Draining Field
Rank: B
Type: Defensive/ Offensive
Description:
Faust will cause a ripple of black energy to form covering a 10 meter radius area. This will cause the area to have all magic sucked away, minus Faust. This can absorb up to a B ranks amount of active magic from people (attacks, buffs) And drain 5% of magic from people that are not currently using a defensive spell.
Strengths:
- Spell will drain the energy of any spells that comes within 5 meters of himself up to a B rank amount
- Will drain any mage/ pet/ magical object that is within 10 meters of him of 10% magic energy
- Will activate near instantly causing those in the field to have little to no time to dodge
Weaknesses:
- Can only block up to a B ranks worth of damage
- Will target allies and friends alike
- Limited on how much magic it can drain
- Very limited field of attack due to power
- The spell runs the risk of activating the Hunger in Faust just like the rest of his other spells.
