Unexpected encounter of the allies who never met [Reiki of Darkness, Chelvaric]

Walking through Era, deep in thought, not knowing why she came here, but felt like she wanted to. She hadn't met any of the magic council on her travels and didn't seem particularly bothered, but if she wanted to travel all of Fiore, then why not go to Era? Even if it just the once... Or the only time she goes without having to do anything important.

She walked down a street, holding a book in her hand, reading from it as she wasn't really one for sight seeing. She did have a new edition to her clothes, on her belt around her waist, she now had the emblem of blue pegasus. This however was covered up by her green cloak. Her hood over her head.

She slowly started rounding a corner, her eyes still on the pages of the book.

Dryaw was walking through era as he needed some grocery’s. he could have send a rune knight to do it but leaders should walk among their subjects to know what the people think and do. All seemed well tough so that was all good. He was looking trough the newspaper he just bought and was reading some article that was going about him and how he brought the council a ship. While he positioned his cape a bit better over his left shoulder. Since he joined the council he had put they symbol of them on the pure white cape. His belt was now set with golden spikes.

He was Turning around a corner back to the magic council when he suddenly got thrown back and on the groun by bumping into something. He was patting his head when he suddenly saw a girl laying on the ground in front of him. he probably had walked right in to her. He pushed himself up quickly and pulled her up from the ground as he was pretty embarrassed that he pushed her to the ground.

“Oh sorry! Are you okay miss. It was totally my fault I should have looked where you went. Please let me buy you a drink as apology for this incident. I am dryaw Loghtur by the way. And again I am so sorry. Are you okay? Nowhere hurt?”, he stumbled in a quick response and like a waterfall. He was realy shy when he did something wrong against a girl. His position as a council member would then perish like snow for the sun and he would be a normal guy again.

Her eyes widened when she hit the floor, her hood had come away from her face. Her book out of her hands. The guy pulled her onto her feet, her cloak moved to show the blue pegasus emblem on her belt. She knelt down and picked up her book, opening it back to the right page and then looked at him, "Don't worry about it..." she saw the sign on his cape. Then started walking past him, her eyes back on the pages of her book. The back of her cape also showed the Blue pegasus emblem.

She didn't think much of it, but she had just bumped into a member of the magical council, not what she had expected on her day of walking through Era casually.

It seemed the girl didn’t even hear everything he said as while she just searched her book. Continued to keep her head down and walked away from him without even looking his way. This girl was either really shy or really clumpy that she always bumped into someone. But when she got up and walked away he could see something very familiar. The symbol of a Pegasus. She was a member of his old guild before he was promoted to the council. He still had a kind heart towards blue Pegasus even if he didn’t stay to long there. Well he didn’t calculate the promotion in his life anyway. Tough now that he knew she was from his old guild he felt a sense of protection for her then.

“Hey wait up don’t go yet. Your from blue Pegasus right. I am a old member to before I got my position in the council. Please let me buy you a drink to apologize to you.”, he tried to get her attention to talk to her more. He really wanted to know how it was going there. The rapports he got from blue Pegasus weren’t really anything to concerning but those didn’t tell everything of course.

She stopped when she heard his voice again. She turned and looked at him, her silvery eyes sparkling, "You were from Blue Pegasus?" she walked back to him, putting her hand out, "Then you are a friend... an ally I never met... My name is Reiki Kireikaji... I haven't been part of Blue Pegasus that long... and I barely know people there... put I guess its not a massive deal... because if any of them needed help, I would aid them in anyway possible... that means you also..." she looked up at him.

She closed her book and put it in the pouch on her waist, "And sure... a drink would be... nice..." her eyes softened slightly her facial expression still rather blank.

He smiled as the girl totally lighten up when she heard he was a former blue Pegasus member. He shook her hand and then listened to the rest of what she had to say. She seemed pretty noble in her cause. Helping others that she didn’t even know. He liked her already. Great well now a place to drink something. He looked around and saw a small coffee shop not far from their location. With a big cup of coffee as hang board.

“Let us go drink there in that coffee shop.”, he said and walked to the shop. He looked back if she was following him and entered the place. It was pretty cozy inside the tables were all littered with books and papers. Candles were burning and coffee smell hanged thick in the room. It seemed pretty cozy. This was one of these book drinking places. He had heard of them and always had wane go to one. Great opportunity. He sat down on a table and waited for the girl to sit to.

“So what book where you reading there.”, he asked with interest. As she was really deep into the book. He wondered what kind of person she was.

She slowly sat down and pulled her cloak off, revealing a brown leather jacket and white clothes. She pulled her gloved off, on the back her right hand, there was a deep scar, it seemed to trail up under the sleeve of her jacket. She pulled her red scarf off and blushed slightly, "Well.. the book is of a fairy tale... where heroes save the world... even if it means they loose themselves... its what inspires me to be a mage of Blue Pegasus... to help those who need it... to fight evil when the time calls for it and to prevent what happened to me..." she gasped and looked at the floor, "Sorry..." she looked at her boots, her left hand went protectively over the scar on her right hand.

As she explained the book it seemed she also let trough on her own feelings. He smiled slightly as she showed the signs of a true paladin. The gods didn’t let them bump into each other for some trivle reason. It seemed he had a change to help a fellow person out. She seemed too struggle with her past. The scar that she quickly tried to cover was probably from a old fight. He stood up out of his chair and walked to her crouching on his knee he carfully took her hand and pushed her sleeve up to see the scar.

“Dear Reiki this wound is not to be ashamed of. It shows your courage to fight that what is evil. The gods look down on us and our struggle. There ways may seem weird and strange. But trough what happened to you. They made you a vessel of there will helping other people along the way. These are the true virtuous of a paladin. You’re a chosen one don’t let a little scratch let you down. No wear your wound with pride and show the world that you won’t go down after a small let down. And when all hope seems gone come to me and I shall bring you back to the light. If blue Pegasus ever seem cold and distant the rune knights shall welcome you as you are truly one in soul and spirit.”, he said with a calm and whispering voice. He then stood up and walked back to his chair and waved the over to take an order. He would let the girl have some thinking time. This was probably a bit heavy for her personality. Maybe his story could calm her down to.

“You know before I came to this land before I even have my power. I was an orphan in the gutter of the streets my family was taken from me my eye sight was taken from me and I would have died. But the gods saved me and as thanks I replaced my eyes with their power. God’s work in strange ways some people think they will do everything just because you pray to them. But you need a pure hearth one like yours before they come and help. Tough when they help you it will never be directly. Just look good around you and at the events that happen. Once you gain the “sight” you will see the hand of the gods in everything. Even if they may be cruel at times.”, he said as he just had revealed his past to somebody. It still hurt him to think about these times long ago. Ah but the gods did it so he would come to serve them. He was now more happy than ever. Some people said he was crazy but he didn’t care about those. He knew that they existed and he would help anybody else to find them and bathe in there happiness.

When he touched her hand, she looked slightly hopeful but then sighed, looking at the floor, after he had finished speaking, she looked at him, "I understand what you say, I do believe in the Gods... but I do not believe I have a pure heart... I can't... with the type of person my father is... pure evil... my mother was the one with the pure heart... or so I was told... my father came home one day after hearing the news of my birth and found me in my mother's arms... crying.. but she didn't move... his darkness had corrupted her and caused her to die giving life to me..."

She looked at the scar, "This scar is not something which shows courage of fighting against evil... this scar is filled with fear... sadness and pain... I was 14 when I got this scar... and when you touched it just now... I could not feel it, for 5 years now... I have not felt anything... no pain... no cold... no touch..." she slowly took off her leather jacket, pulling up her short sleeve of her shirt. The scar started on top of her shoulder and went down to the back of her hand where he had held it previously. She looked down, "I totured by my first guardian from the age of 3 to 10... a new guardian came and took me away from him... he taught me about the gods and everything else... at the age of 14, my first guardian came back for me... punishing me for believing everything I was told... I was saved 2 years later and last year... my friend...the guardian who showed me the light was killed..." She sighed, looking at the deep scar which ran up her arm.

He calmly listened to what she said. Remaining calm on the surface tough being a tormenting storm in the inside. Sombody that just tortured a child for his pleasure shouldn’t be walking free. If he was back from this trip he would send his assistance out to personally investigate this. It was good to see there were still people in fiore that preached about the gods. Sad that he had passed away tough. But tests the gods give us and sometimes you die as it is your time to be in paradise. She had felt fear despair and all bad feelings but still she was fighting against evil and not giving In to the darkness. She was saying she didn’t had a pure heart because of her father. But she just showed him that she was more pure then most people. But she self didn’t understand it. she didn’t had the sight yet.

“sorry that I am blunt. But your blind reiki. Even more then me who doesn’t even have eyes. do you really think we get our hearths from our parents. You who are still stands proud and protects those that are in need. Even after all these years of pain and torture where others would have chosen the evil path. You remain in the light. That scar is maybe made by a vessel of evil. But also shows your resolve in not turning evil yourself. You may not feel anything in it now. But that’s because you haven’t accepted the scar as a part of you. It’s really sad of your guardian tough. But he isn’t dead as long as you remember him in your hearth. He shall always guard over you. But tell me more of this evil guy I shall bring him to justice.”, he calmly said as he ordered some tea for him as a ober had came. He had said it with passion tough and the runes on his golden globes were lit up in anger about this person. Even his tattoos on his face were glowing slightly. The scar was huge. But he could heal it tough he wouldn’t do it. she needed to accept the scar and make it her own. that would help her more then a heal.

She ordered herself some tea also, but then looked at him, "I can't tell you about him... I am sorry... and before you say I am protecting him, I am not." her eyes darkened slightly, "Only justice can be achieved if I am able to make it so... on my own... He deserves to be locked away and to rot." she muttered coldly, but then sighed, "But..." her expression softened, "No one deserves that in all honesty... he needs to atone for his sins in a way that does not stain any ones hands.. even though his hands are thickly stained... with my blood and the blood of my guardian and many others that I have loved in the past... and others I have never met... or know of... One day, I will have the confidence to stand up to him... to tell him he is wrong about everything... his teachings were cold and never put anyone's heart in thought... I know he has some good in him... somewhere deep inside of him... he wouldn't have kept me alive if he didn't..." she looked at him, her eyes saddened slightly.

She was  angel. Well not literly but her mind was one. The angel of forgiveness those that will never hurt if they can avoid it. They were needed of course but dryaw was the opposite. He was the judge and the executioner. He had blood on his hands of countless people that defied the good and danced with the evil. He didn’t shed a tear for those that he killed. It was his destiny to be the killer of the gods. And he did it with joy as he brought peace to everybody. But he needed to respect her way. He took a sip from his tea and talked again.

“as you wish. Tough If I ever meet him before you I shall behead him for the crimes he did. I am the will of the gods and I shall act like that. Now let us talk about more happy things how is your life going in blue Pegasus. Do you guys need anything. I may be council member but my hearth didn’t forget my days in blue Pegasus. I wana hear evryhting about it.”, he said with more joy on the end as he sipped from his tea again looking at reiki more calm now. The glow had gone away and even the killing part he said without emotion. He had still some time to spare before he had to return to his duty’s.

She smiled slightly, "Blue Pegasus... I don't really know anyone... I haven't even met the guildmaster... but its home.. its a nice place, peaceful at times so I can go watch the sun set with a book in my hand... I don't think there is anything we really need, but if there ever was, you will be the first to know... I just... need to get confidence up to actually talk to my guild members... because I don't think many of them know my name..." she sipped her tea and sighed slightly.

“haha well Just try to find something similar to talk about and i am sure you’ll make friends quick enough. Or try to pick up in conversations. Well I know that’s not easy if your shy but I promise people at blue Pegasus don’t bite. And in the mean time I have a great book you should read.”, dryaw said and he stood up and walked to a book case. After some searching he took a book out and returned to the table.

“it’s a little fairy tale from my country. Its about a girl who was locked up in her room for ages but then because of a invasion she gets out. Well the rest youll know when you read it. I have to say it inspired a lot of my things to do. The priests at the temple always read it for me before I could see. I always enjoyed it”, he said while he took a sip of his tea again and smiled at the girl to make her feel comfortable.

She looked at the book, her eyes lit up, "I will read it... thank you... Dryaw..." she smiled softly, looking like an almost completely different person, no fear, no sadness, just herself. Her silver eyes sparkled in a way that they hadn't done the hole time she had been around him. "You officially have a friend for life if you didn't have one before hand..." she said softly. Her left hand stayed on the book as she picked up her tea with her right hand, it fell out of her hand and she gasped, catching it, the cup now upside down and in her palm, the scolding teahad poured on to her right hand, she gasped slightly, but sighed, "See? No pain... no nothing..."

He smiled when he heard she was a friend for live. “ha I don’t have a friend for live yet. I feel honored to have you as that.”, h said relieved that she was feeling better now. He didn’t wanted that this meeting was just a sad one. He smiled as she smiled and had a twinkle in her eyes. he wondered a bit when she dropped tea on her how she was not feeling things. Maybe he could heal it. he had said he wouldn’t do it but ugh he was her friend now. He couldn’t just watch this.

“let me try something I don’t know if it will work but I am a good healer after all.”, he placed a hand on his left golden eye globe and his right hand on her arm. He started to focus really well and a golden light started to involve her arm. Healing all bad damage from it. maybe it was a nerve that was cut off or something else he didn’t know but at least he could try to fix it.

She gasped, watching him try to heal it, the scar faded a tiny bit, but nothing else happened, she put her hand on his shoulder, "Its ok... I don't want the scar to go away... I want to see it and remember the bad times in my life... it makes me who I am today... I don't want that to change..." she moved her hand to his cheek, she smiled, brushing her fingers across his cheek, "Just knowing your trying to help is enough for me... I may not be able to feel your cheek... but I can feel the goodness in your heart..."

He cursed a bit inside he didn’t heal her but atleast a little bit. Ah well she wanted to keep it. it was more the feel he wanted to heal then the scar. He did his best and more he couldn’t do. Ah well the girl was really kind and nice. Saying his hearth was good. He felt a warm feel inside from her presence. She was a really nice person. He moved his hand over hers and holded it for a bit before speaking again.

“it’s been a while since I met a good person like you. So truly if you need any help anytime you can knock on my door send me a letter or anything. Well now that we know each other a lot better what’s you reason in the city here actually. If you need help in finding something I am able to accompany you. ”, he said while he tried to smile warmly towards her.

She smiled, "Well, I was just traveling... I like seeing the world... Era was a place I hadn't been yet and so I thought that it would be good to come see this place... it is an important place as far as the Magical society is concerned... I don't plan things but I do plan where I go... I probably will only be here a couple of days... Then go to the next place... which I haven't planned yet..." She looked up as a new cup of tea was placed on the table for her, she bowed her head in thanks and leaned forward to pick her tea up, she put her finger in the hot tea and winched, then gasped slightly, looking at her right hand, "That was hot..." she muttered, completely shocked.

“it is indeed nice to just travel around. I also did that before I settled in blue Pegasus. Tough it wasn’t for long. Ah well things happen. If you want I can train you a bit. I have free time between my working hours. So just come to the council building up the hill and ask after me and I’ll come and train you. ”, he said while he took the new cup of tea from the ober. Ah this time it was Camille. He loft the rest he got from this kind of tea. He was totally not a coffee drinker. He leaned a bit back on his chair to enjoy it more. But nearly spilled it all when reiki suddenly shouted out that she had pain from her right arm.

“Did you get your feel back. Wait are you okay?”, he was suddenly baffled. She could feel again. Well that or she was teasing him. he doesn’t know her completely ofcourse. But then again he needed to know if she was okay or not. He put his tea down and was going to stand up to call the waiter.

She didn't answer her eyes stayed at her hand, she was completely shocked and now started looking rather pale, "I think I need some fresh air..." she muttered, walking straight to the door, she opened it and stood outside, feeling the cool breeze on her face, she leaned against the wall, feeling faint from shock. Her jacket, cloak, scarf, gloves and book still sat on her chair.

It seems she was to shocked or something as she ran out the place without looking back. He looked at her place and saw that her clothes where still laying on her chair. He better went to see if she was okay. But first he had to make sure her clothes were save. He winked the waiter to his place. “ if I come back and these clothes were touched or stolen I shall send some rune knights to find the villain. God it.", the waiter was a bit scared and nodded fiercely. Everybody in era knew he was a council member. He didn’t like to be so harsh on people. But he needed to get it quickly done. He walked outside the tea room and looked first right but nothing to see. He then looked left and reiki was standing there against a wall. He waited for a couple of seconds before he walked closer. He had a worried look on his face. He leaned against the wall and kept silence again for a moment.

“The sky is really beautiful today. The red of the blood moon lights the sky up as a rose flower. It seemed you were pretty shocked from something. I know it wasn’t the sky but are you okay.”, he said while he turned his head to her location. The red light of the sky made everything seem orange. Also reiki’s face was like this. Ah up close she really was a good looking girl. She shouldn’t have a worried look on it.

She looked at him slowly, "I-I felt the heat... from the tea... on my hand." she lifted her hand, looking at it, it was still rather red from when she put her fingers in the tea. She looked at him, slowly moving her hand to his cheek, her eyes saddened, "I guess... it was only a one off... I don't feel you..." she wobbled and her legs gave way as she fainted, still incredibly pale.

Dryaw looked at her as she touched his face again. It seemed she couldn’t feel that. Why could she feel heat but no his skin. Why was a sweet girl damned to live a life like this. Some harsh questions that flew through his mind but those were banned as she suddenly collapsed. He just cached her in time before she completely went against the ground. He whistled on with his left hand and not a second later a squad of rune knights appeared from the streets. The council members where never alone of course.

“Get the things of my table and bring them to my chamber while I take care of this girl.”, he said he then pushed his left eye in and thought of ferinity the angel of death. Not much later a magic seal appeared above his head. It went down and as it went down a golden figure appeared over his body. It was a angel with wings. Dryaw pushed himself from the ground and flew as fast as he could to the council building. Sparkles of light flowed around them as they came out of the wings. After a while of flying he finally came to the building and rushed inside. After climbing countless of stairs and calling in for some medics he slamed his door open and laid her in his bed as comfortable as she could. He tehn sad down next to her and started to pray as he waited on the medics to come.

“Oh righteous seven please listen to your vessel and don’t take this girl with you . she still has so much to do here. We need people like this to make a wondrous world.”, he started and on a monotone went further while a worried look came on his face. he hoped she would be all right.

Shortly after, the medics rushed in and examined her, once they were done, they looked at him, "She will be fine... don't worry... although... there is something which troubles us... which is probably the cause of her collapsing... it seems she rarely eats and drinks... not looking after herself when it comes to food and drink... it looks like she has been this way for at least a year now... maybe two... she probably lives alone and doesn't think about food... but if she keeps on going like this... you will loose her..." they walked out of the room.
