The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Julia Neviccare 28th December 2013, 3:02 pm

Snow fell from the sky today... Meteorologists said that with the weather patterns as they stood in Fiore, Clover Town was not going to get any snow for at least another week. Yet it fell from the sky. The camera merely focused on the descent of but a single snowflake for a short while. It slowly drifted down, the pattern of this flake of snow was intricate, spiky, and would have made for a wonderful design for an arts and crafts project. Yet, the flake spun gently, more intricate than some cheap paper flake model, the snowflake had the full three dimensional effect doing on. A very intricate thing for something so simple, so fresh. The snowflake met a gentle end atop the nose of a young girl, albino by the looks of her, pale, light blonde hair, with red eyes. She would look at the flake as it landed on her, taking an extra moment to melt than it should, before melting into a droplet of water.

    A work of natural beauty.

The girl would giggle a bit, the snow falling was her current only friend. "Snow~ Snow~ I love it so~!" she sang to herself. She had traversed a long journey, trekked hundreds of miles just to find this town. Behind her footsteps as she walked along were a series of snow platforms in the water. The only way she could traverse Clover Lake effective. Julia Neviccare was all alone in her venture, tired from nigh endless travels, hunting for her food, seeking warmth and shelter. Winter was a brutal season to travel in... especially when it snowed everywhere you went. Yet she appeared to be in high spirits, having arrived to become a legal mage. Julia would look around the town. It was far less fortified than the towns she remembered from her past. Nothing at all like the winter-fortified huts and cabins used in Iceberg. At least the towns she was ever in. Clearly these people haven't seen an Ice Age in a few decades or something. Julia would look about the area and giggle to herself. Some people would look up in confusion as snow began to fall like a standard winter snow, almost sight-impeding, questioning the judgement of the weather man. But just as Julia would get out of a certain range of them, the weather would suddenly clear up. This only caused more confusion in the end, but it didn't matter, nobody would have suspected the culprit of the snow to be the young girl would walked through.

Julia's venture had left her with a relatively tattered outfit, mostly from mistakes she made while hiding from predators in the forests, getting snagged on branches, actually having to fight. She was a bit too young to be so roughed up, but nobody looked down to notice her too much. A normal person's peripherals wouldn't take notice of a young girl who practically blended in with the snow anyways. Julia had heard of the guild called Blue Pegasus, where everyone was beautiful and kind, where everyone helped one another, a place that she could call home. She heard that guilds in Fiore had that kind of outlook altogether, but Blue Pegasus made her get all fantastical when she thought of it. She'd even heard tales of a giant Pegasus that the members of the guild rode into battle. A place where the mages beauty was only outmatched by their power, she wanted to be a join up. However, she hadn't the foggiest clue where to look for the Guild Hall. So what better to do, she would look around, the camera viewing over her shoulders as she looked from right to left, sliding from left to right itself to gain the best angle on what she saw.

She would pick out a person who looked like they would know, and approached them. She would tug on their clothing slightly, and look up at them, being shorter than most people who would know, and speak up in her tiny russian accent, "Excuse me. Could you give direction to Blue Pegasus?"

The man who she had pulled the arm of turned to look at her and shook his head. "Sorry I too am a tourist." he said and walked away. It was then that there was a shout from above her.

"I know the way." it said. It was a male voice and if she looked up she would see a man spinning round a flag pole sticking out the side of a building. Suddenly, the man flew straight upwards then back down where he grabbed the pole once more, spun a few times and dropped down landing in front of her. He was wearing a black vest top and jeans, a green headband and a black eye patch. His hair was a vivid red and spiked and there was a big smile on his face. Clearly visible on his arm was the guild crest of blue pegasus on his right arm in black. A green orb floated down and landed on his right arm illuminating the arm. "I'm Zack Rose, this is Devon. Follow me to the BP." With that he began to run off quite quickly. In fact, in a few seconds he was gone leaving a trail of dust and snow behind him. Zack was a speed freak, but fortunately for Julia the green orb stayed behind. The glow faded to reveal a tiny blonde fairy dressed in green and white.

"Hey, like the speed demon said i'm Devon. I'll show you the way." The little fairy lit up with the green light and began to fly off slowly. She was quite a useful thing to follow. She too liked to go fast, but she wasn't a speed freak so wasn't going to fly off at high speeds leaving this girl in the dust.

Khalisha walked along the streets of Clover town, looking for the guild that was in town. It was called something like Blue Unicorn, or whatever. She hadn't really paid attention when being told about the guild; she just knew that she wanted to be there. She'd heard that it was a good place to become a powerful mage, and it had plenty of sexy men and women to boot. She just had to see if the place was for real, and if it was she simply had to join up with them.

As she walked, looking around for the guild hall and occasionally stopping to ask for directions, she started to shiver from the cold, whining a bit to herself and sneezing. "Nnng~ So cold~" She was about 5'3'', with an almost perfect hourglass figure (her butt was a bit wider than bust), and beautiful, dark skin. She had brown hair that was kept in a largely messy tuft atop her head, organized only by a few hairclips as if she had gotten ready in a hurry.

Oh, and she had large, soft, brown cat ears and an equally soft-looking tail that swayed happily behind her.

She was clearly not dressed for the weather, wearing only a hoody that wasn't even zipped all the way up. The hood was down, too, mostly so she didn't have to keep her ears flat against her head. She was wearing a thin, tight, black leather collar, and two little, metal earrings in her left ear. As for bottoms, she was just wearing a simple, long black skirt that went down to her ankles and had a hole in the back for her tail; it was no wonder that she was so cold.

After hours of searching, Khalisha finally found her way to the front of the guild hall, and as she stood, smiling up at the building and taking it in, she thought, Wow!~ It really is real!, just before twitching her ears slightly at the sound of someone rapidly approaching. She turned just in time to see a blur of motion that appeared to be headed right towards the building she was in front of, but strangely, rather than freaking out, she just stared blankly at the blur and slowly stepped out of the way. Then, she simply approached the doors of the building and knocked curiously on them, standing with her legs together and her back arched a bit, ears flat against her head as she started to doubt if she'd even be worthy of joining up with such a cool-sounding place. "Hello? This is Khalisha, is anyone there? I was hoping to join up with your guild.." There seemed to be a slight southern twang to her voice; barely even there but still noticeable if one were to listen closely enough.

((Sorry for poor post quality; I'm really sick but I really wanted to post, too))

Post by Julia Neviccare 29th December 2013, 4:34 am

Julia would look at the man with a look of utter disappointment in her eyes as he would proclaim himself a tourist as well. Well, that guy was clearly of no help, the snow fell in a bit of a blanket for a moment, but then cleared up as a heroic voice called out through the fog, -I know the way!- Julia would look up with here eyes filled with light once again, as a man performed what was probably the most impressive act of acrobatics Julia had seen. Said man introduced himself as Zack Rose, and then the little glowing orb of green as Devon. She would look up at the glowing green orb of light, with amazement in her eyes. Yet the man would run off while she was distracted, after saying something like -Follow me-. The orb stayed behind and then dimmed to reveal that it was not just a ball of light, but a small person, with wings. She looked in astonishment at it, it was so cool! Like something out of a fairy tale! They started to fly off after Zack.

"Wow, mages here cool. I wonder if all have flying people friends," Julia would say to herself in a thick but small Russian accent. She would begin pursuit after a few seconds of staring in awe, having now realized that staring in awe was a completely pointless venture if she wanted to find Blue Pegasus. Julia's feet were very quick, as she caught up relatively quickly, though that fairy person was moving far slower than the stories would tell they could. She saw ahead something that really should have been able to be noticed when she arrived, the only fair points for her case being that she was towered over by everyone and every thing except that fairy, and Julia was surrounded by a perpetual snowstorm. In the end though, this giant towering work of greco-roman architecture was really easy to notice now that nothing but snow was impeding her vision and she knew which way to look. It was grand, and Julia's excitement grew ever so much. She was imaging every possible good thing that guild could hold! I could have a swimming pool! With warm water! Maybe it even had cookies!

Julia would begin to run faster and faster, until she would pass up Devon the fairy, most likely by fluke, and move ahead to the guild hall. Leaving the Fairy behind her felt a bit sad to Julia in some symbolic way, but she knew the fairy would catch up, and she pressed ahead to the guild hall, and finally wound up running through the guild's front door, charging right past a cat person, who people would consider incredibly attractive, and even Julia managed to glance back at her for a moment to notice how pretty she was. She would turn her head back forward and call out to the people presently there, "I want join! I want join!" Julia's eyes were lit up with excitement and hope, filled with optimism.

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 29th December 2013, 11:35 am

Things were always at a fast pace for Zack. If they weren't he got bored and impatient quickly. It was possibly for this reason that people rarely stayed in his mind for very long. His mind was constantly buzzing, except when sleeping, and processed things very quickly so things that weren't overly impressive were rapidly forgotten. People like Shuhei stuck in his mind because they were impressive. However, even people like the 'fastest mage alive' would eventually fade from his mind. Even if they were the reason he had joined the Blue Pegasus guild in the first place. Therefore it was nothing personal that by the time he neared the halls of Blue Pegasus he had forgotten her entirely despite the fact it snowed perpetually around her. This was partially for the aforementioned reasons, but also due to the rather attractive cat person standing in his way. He grinned to himself and leapt into the air at the last moment, sailing over her head. As he did he exhaled greatly and blew the door open so that he landed safely in front of the cat woman. However, unlike cats he was not the type to always land on his feet and instead he landed on his hands in a perfect handstand. He raised himself up onto one hand and gave a salute before flipping himself up.

"Hey there pretty lady." he said his one good eye glinting slightly. "Fancy a game of cat and mouse? Catch me if you can." With that he dashed off once more. However, like with the snow girl he forgot this woman almost instantly and just ran through Blue Pegasus because he liked to run. This was just the sort of thing he did. He might remember them if he met them later or he might not, but that was the way things went.

Devon meanwhile was VERY interested in the snow girl. She hadn't forgotten about her nor was she being left behind. She was interested in anyone who might end up working with Zack, so most people in Blue Pegasus. However, she was particularly interested in why it was constantly snowing around this girl. She'd heard of a guy known as the 'rain god' before. He was a man so beloved by the clouds that they constantly followed him and showered him in praise. Perhaps this girl was similar and was a 'snow god' or something. Or maybe she was just really really unlucky with the weather. Or maybe it was something else entirely. She didn't raise the topic about it though until they were inside the guild. The cat girl caught her eye was well, which was strange since normally she had eyes only for Zack.

"Hey there. Just curious...why is it snowing around you?" Devon asked Julia. She was intently curious about the topic. However, with a quick glance she looked at the cat girl. "Come on in, there's plenty of room."

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Cards 29th December 2013, 3:47 pm

As Khalisha was knocking on the door, it would suddenly swing wide open from the strange blur, who now appeared in front of her looking like a guy with red hair and one eye (the other was covered up), literally blowing it open. The strangest part about it all was that the guy was standing on his hands in front of her, and even brought one hand up into a salute. "U-uhm... Wha?~" She said, holding back her urge to hiss at the guy for surprising her like that. The guy then flipped up to his feet and slung a compliment at her, before making what seemed to be a joke about her having the features of a cat, and then zooming off, leaving her staring blankly at where he was just a moment before, as if seeing some imaginary outline of him. She had a faint blush on her face from being called a 'pretty lady'; one would think she'd be used to something like that, but she wasn't at all. She'd actually been alone for her entire life, living off of her own skills and the charity of others. "H-hey! Wait up, handsome!" She shouted, taking off after the red-head who had greeted her.

She didn't get far at all, though, before a cute little girl burst through the doors just after her along with a tiny fairy that seemed to be trying to lead her here. The girl then started excitedly shouting about how she wanted to join in the most adorable accent that Khalisha had ever heard. It was a thick, small, Russian one that made Khalisha's ears perk up and her tail start swaying happily. "Oh my god!~ You are just the cutest lil' thing ever!" Khalisha dropped to her knees and wrapped her arms tightly around the little girl with the Russian accent, nuzzling her warmly and purring into her ear, smiling widely with her eyes closed. The girl reminded her so vividly of the child she'd always wanted to raise; Khalisha was still a bit young to think seriously about having a kid, but she already knew she wanted one later on in life. "And who's your little friend here?~" She asked, pointing curiously at the fairy that was flying nearby. She favored the fairy with a cute little wink and another smile, the wink giving off an imaginary heart. She wrapped up the whole thing with a cute 'meow' at the fairy, giggling softly.

She seemed to have completely forgotten about the cute red-head that had greeted her at the door of the guild. This was mostly because of the new source of cute (Though, admittedly, it was a different form of cute), but also because he had rushed off so quickly that she had no hope of catching him, so she just went ahead and kept herself busy attacking the albino Russian girl with hugs and nuzzles, staring curiously at the fairy. "So you want to join Blue Pegasus too?~ Wow! So do I~ I guess that means we'll be hanging out alot then, huh? Since we're both gonna be new!" She said, still purring as she attempted to speak, which made all of her vowels sound as though they had been somehow rolled, which sounded particularly strange coming from her South-U.S. American accent.

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Julia Neviccare 29th December 2013, 5:51 pm

Waving her hands a bit frantically, as she ran, she would stop for a few moments as Devon would ask her a question. -Why does it snow around you?- This was a good question, because Julia didn't have a single clue in actuality. She would think for a moment, and answer in a deep way that would be unexpected of a young girl like herself. "I suppose snow is only friend. We have not left each others' sides since year ago," she would say, with a giggle. The snow inside would begin to intensify just a bit, but calmed down. Julia would smile at the fairy for a bit longer, up until cat lady would drop down and begin to cuddle with her ferociously. -Oh my god! You are the cutest thing ever!- Julia would hear. Julia would wave her arms around, and shouted the most typical thing a little girl in her position could say, albeit in a russian tone: "Stranger danger! I need adult!" The hug in question was actually quite nice, and Julia was kinda sad that she wanted it to end on instinct. She never actually had a legitimate hug in her life.

The cat lady would then wave at the fairy, Devon, and give off one of those adorable meowing noises that makes a child's heart melt when they hear a cat do it. Julia would then realize that the cat lady was a cat, and began to chibify as she would gaze at the ears of this unknown person. "Waow! A real kitty girl! I thought it was just myth!" she would say, messing around with the ears of the kitty, noticing how they even appeared to work like a cat's ears. She wouldn't be able to break free from the snuggling, but she would be able to maintain a conversation. "Yes. I want to join Blue Pegasus, and become great mage, and make friends," she would say in a very basic style of reasoning. "You are new as well? We could get along then," she added to the comment. She would begin to pet the kitty girl's head, and began to make her introduction, "I am Julia Neviccare. I am practitioner of Snow Magic." Due to her basic understanding of the common language of Fiore, she could get along in society for the most part, but she wouldn't necessarily fit in, thanks to her accent.

She would then take the time (while still petting the kitty girl) to look around the Guild Hall she was in. The population of the guild was actually quite dense, and yet not a single unattractive person was in the guild hall. Most of the people sparkled like some kind of muscle man from a show about alchemy, but without being crafted of musculature and poses! It was almost as if... this place were a heaven on earthland of sorts where all the angels of Earthland would gather to make one beautiful hall to help the less fortunate who were willing to pay. She wondered if this guild even had a host club.

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 30th December 2013, 11:29 am

Zack skidded to a halt a thoughtful look on his face and looked about. It had been about five minutes of hard running, and he was FAST, so he was quite far away from the two newbies and Devon. It was the lack of Devon that had caused him to stop and he peered about. It was unusual for Devon to leave his side unless requested. She liked to keep an eye on him, or particularly on the part beneath his eyepatch. Very strange. "I feel like i'm forgetting something." he said slightly puzzled and flipped into a handstand and began to walk about like that. He hoped that the blood rushing to his head would help him remember what he'd forgotten. The lack of Devon had stimulated a bit of remembrance. Devon had left his side before he'd got back to the guild of that he was certain. He flipped back onto his feet without a bit of difficulty. "TO THE FRONT DOOR!" he shouted and began to run back towards the front door of the guild.

    -----------------------
Meanwhile, at the front door. The fairy known as Devon had met the cat girl and watched with amusement, and slight jealously, as the snow girl and the cat girl began to snuggle and nuzzle eachother. She wished she had such a relationship with Zack.

"I am Devon of Malkariss, a friend of Zack Rose an A rank mage of this guild." she said and then focused spreading her arms wide. The light shined brilliantly for a moment and she seemed to grow, as did her clothes, until she was a 5ft6 tall woman standing next to them. "Pleased to meet you both." She winked at them a big smile on her face. "Us girls should stick together. I'll get Zack to take you two on some missions to help you out." They were an interesting trio. A cat girl, a human-sized fairy and a girl whom it was constantly snowing around. None of them were normal, even for mages.

"There you are Devon." Zack shouted as he came towards the door at high speed. It was then he noticed the other two and leapt into the air. With a swift spin and flip he came to a stop in a crouch in front of them. "Ah...I was meant to lead you to the guild wasn't I?" he said with a slight embarrassed look to his face as he rose to his feet his eyes on the snow girl. "Sorry about that. I tend to get carried away, particularly when I run." His gaze drifted over, which wasn't that far due to the snuggling, to the cat girl. He realised then that he'd run off from both of these girl's without introducing himself. "Hey there, i'm Zack Rose. I'm quite new here myself."

"That's true. He used to be part of another guild, but it was wiped out whilst we were away." she said sadly. She'd had friends in the guild. A look of sadness came into Zack's eyes, but quickly faded and he ruffled the fairies hair.

"Let's not put our burdens on the newcomers. So, you two want to join huh?"[/color]

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Cards 31st December 2013, 2:54 am

Khalisha was only slightly put off by Julia's instant reaction to call for an adult, but she figured the best way to seem innocent was to just keep doing what she was doing. After all, acting guilty only made you seem... Guilty. And she knew that what she was doing was harmless, anyway, so she just kept on nuzzling the adorable albino, giggling and purring the whole time. Then, hearing the girl's newest cries of what seemed like excitement at the fact that Khalisha was a kitty girl, Khalisha's ears perked upright almost immediately and she seemed even happier than before. One would think she'd dislike getting extra attention just because she was part cat; one would be wrong.

"Yes!~ Yes I am, and you are a real angel, aren't you?~" She joked, unable to help herself from laughing as the girl began to fondle Khalisha's ears. The sound of the girl's hands rubbing and petting her ears was loud and distracting, considering how sensitive they were and how the sound was pretty much coming from on them, but she managed to listen to what people were saying, if just barely. "Oh! This place is called Blue Pegasus! I knew it was something cool like that! I actually kinda forgot.. My bad~" She said, her tongue sticking out a bit from her cat-like "3" smile, where her mouth seemed to form a sideways three.

She heard the fairy speaking now, and looked to her again long enough to see her transformation into a much taller woman than she was before. Her tail curled up a bit and her eyes widened, sparkling slightly as she watched the girl. "Wow! That's sooooo cool! So you're a real fairy, you can grow up to be bigger whenever you want, and you're friends with a strong mage?" She was pumped, now. She was normally a very energetic girl, and the more fun, entertaining, or just interesting things happened the more excited she got. She decided to introduce herself, now, and as she was about to let go and stand up to speak, she was suddenly cut off by the same blur from earlier. That cute guy was back, talking to Devon as if he knew her... She immediately put two and two together and figured out that this guy was Zack, the A-ranked mage that the fairy had spoken of.

Khalisha let go of the little girl for real now, as Zack finished his personal introduction, deciding that now was officially the best time to introduce herself; considering the other three already had and didn't really even have a clue who the cat girl was. Or, at least, shouldn't. Except for Zack, who may have heard her speaking at the door just a few moments ago... Wow, just a few moments? Khalisha was a bit overwhelmed by the realization that it had only been a very small amount of time, and she already felt close to these new people; it was in a strange way, and she didn't feel overly close, it just seemed that a lot of stuff had already happened, for one reason or another. She stood up straight and stretched out for a moment, meowing again as she reached up into the sky and stuck her butt out behind her, arching her back to get a better stretch, then went back to standing straight after just a moment or two. "My name is Khalisha!~" She said, pulling out a deck of cards and looking through them with mild interest. She took a few moments to find the right card, but soon she pulled out a 'confetti' card and an 'ice cream' card. She didn't bother to combine them, she just used the one to fire confetti into the air around the little girl, and the other to produce a small cone of chocolate ice cream for the girl, grabbing it and holding it out to Julia before putting her cards away. "And I'm a Card mage!~ It's super fun, and lets me do all sorts of cool tricks!~" She winked, still holding the ice cream out to Julia before looking at Devon and Zack.

"What guild?~ Oh... wait, you probably don't wanna talk about that, never mind what I just asked!~" She said, using her other hand to wave off the topic she had just brought up. She looked specifically at Zack, now, as he asked if Khalisha and Julia wanted to join Blue Pegasus. "Anyways, heck yeah I wanna join!~ And so does Julia, too! It seems super awesome here, and I don't really have anywhere else to go.." She said, seeming excited at first, then trailing off, and then suddenly snapping back to excited again, "So where do we sign up?~"

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Julia Neviccare 31st December 2013, 11:16 am

Julia would look up at the flourish of magical light that would fill the room for a moment, and notice that Devon wound up being a full-sized adult person now. Or at least to the look, which filled her head with various flights of fancy. "Waow! You look like adult!" she would proclaim to the now full-sized Devon. She would be filled with thoughts, were there others like her that appeared to be people but were actually just fairies like Devon was. Julia was running into all sorts of people, and new things within minutes of each other, literally she'd been in town about 3 minutes and she had already discovered that both fairies and nekomata were real beings.

Then, suddenly Julia would make a cute startled noise and bury her face into the kitty girl's shoulder as Zack would suddenly zip back over really quickly, because his high speed entry would scare her. Julia hadn't met someone as fast as Zack was, which thinking about it made him even more scary; Julia had dealt with tigers among other fast creatures. She would then look over to get a more clear look at Zack, who was making his introduction to the kitty girl. Devon would then say something rather offputting, but Zack quickly dismissed it. The kitty girl would release Julia at long last, which kind of made Julia a bit sad, but she wouldn't say anything about it, as the kitty girl would begin her introductions, but not before making a provocative stretch. "Khalisha. That name pretty," Julia would comment.

She would then be astounded by the confetti that was burst from a card, which rained down over her. "Oh wow!" she would proclaim with a childish magical delight filling her eyes, even before the ice cream was handed to her. Her face appeared to chibify for a moment, a bit of drool appeared under her lips as she would take the ice cream cone with both hands and begin to eat it in an awkward manner of holding it pretty much on her mouth while he took chunks off in indistinct manners, licking and nipping at it. As Khalisha would excitedly ask where they were supposed to sign up, Julia released her grip with one hand and thrust her fist into the air to express her equal excitement, whilst her eyes remained rather chibified. She would polish off the cone with surprising swiftness, utterly immune to the effects of brain freeze. She would then wipe the chocolate from her mouth and call out to the people in the area. "Yes! Take us to sign up station!"

So Khalisa and Julia. "Pretty name's for pretty girls." he said half to himself. An interesting pair that was for certain and two he felt would be very useful assets to the guild. They were very lively and had a lot of a potential. Perfect Pegasi. He took a deep breath. He couldn't run this time so he had to try to remain calm. "Follow me ladies." he said with a smile and turned away. If he recalled correctly the place to sign up was near the bar. Devon followed him closely. It was clear to most people, nearly all in fact except Zack, that she had a deep affection for him. He felt for her too, but not in the same way. She was his closest companion and the one person who permanently stuck in his mind. He would never forget her and should anyone hurt her that person would die slowly. Zack was not normally vindictive or cruel, but he protected his friends. No friend of his would ever die on a mission with him. He would rather die first. That was just the kind of guy he was. He loved to run, but would never run away.

He lead them over, at a fast walking pace, to the bar and leapt over it. "I know its here somewhere." he mumbled and began to rummage about. "AHA" he said triumphantly as he popped back up with the sign up sheet and a magic stamp. He cleared his throat and took on a serious air. "Sign your name on this sheet and you are bound to the guild. Leaving is not easy and if you do you will not be re-permitted so make sure it is what you truly want." He was probably making up this stuff, but the joining of a guild should not be taken lightly and thus he tried to make it seem at least a little bit serious. It was not easy though because seriousness was not in his nature. He wondered if he should ask Shuhei first. Nah, the guild master wouldn't want to be bothered by this. He was probably sleeping or drunk or both. "Then tell me where you want your guild tattoo and i'll stamp you." Devon had to hide her giggles as she saw 'serious' Zack. It was quite entertaining.

"Don't worry girls. You'll be safe in the Blue Pegasus. We are like a big family." she said and thought of some of the fights she'd seen between guild members when they got a bit rowdy. Yeah, definitely like a family. "Besides me and Zack will look after you"

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Cards 1st January 2014, 1:02 pm

Khalisha smiled warmly at the small compliment that Julia paid her, shaking her head quickly. "Nah, sweety~ Your name's pretty!~ She said, purring softly still as she watched the childish look of joy cross Julia's face as the confetti popped out of Khalisha's card. Then as Julia's face 'chibified' again and started to drool at the sight of the ice cream, Khalisha couldn't help but giggle slightly and let out an 'awwww' sound. It was just so adorable, the way Julia was acting, but she managed to pull her mind away from the girl when she said something about the sign up station, looking back at Zack.

She heard him saying that the two of them had fitting names, 'pretty names for pretty girls' and grinned happily at him. "Yeah?~ Well, you're name aint so bad for someone handsome like yourself, either, Zack~" Then, with a thought, she looked over at Devon and scratched her own head lightly, sticking her tongue out a bit as she tilted her head to one side. "You've got a really nice name, too, Devon~ Though it reminds me a lot of a boy's name~ Still, I like it!~ And you're super pretty, too, so!~" She was trying hard not to let poor Devon feel left out, and wasn't really sure if it was working. She did mean what she was saying, but it was the fact that Devon had come last in this that made Khalisha feel that it may have sounded a bit insincere.

"Okay, but... You aren't gonna go an' run off again, are you?" She asked, her ears twitching slightly as Zack finished telling her and Julia to follow him. She giggled slightly, though, to show that she was just joking with him, and tried her very best to ignore how unbearably adorable the little girl was while she ate the ice cream. Thankfully the girl had been done with the ice cream for a moment or two now, but Khalisha couldn't help but keep remembering it. She followed Devon closely over to the bar, watching him hop over it and begin to toss about underneath it in search of some unknown item. Then, she heard a victorious cry and saw him pop back up, holding a sign up sheet and stamp. Then suddenly he seemed to be trying to get serious. It looked like it was working for the most part, and Khalisha couldn't really tell the difference, but being serious just didn't seem like him, from what little she knew about him. Still, she took everything he was saying quite seriously, and then, without hesitation, she simply turned around and stuck her butt out at Zack, giggling and lifting her tail for him, pulling up her skirt to reveal her whole bottom to the guy. It was more than a bit provocative, and definitely not very lady like, but she seemed to not see any sort of big deal about it as she revealed a pair of lacy black undergarments and pointed at her left butt cheek. "I want it here!~ In case I ever do some sexy poses for a magazine~" She seemed very excited about her decision, and to say the least she seemed quite sure of it, too, holding the position until Zack decided to stamp her. She was also using this as an excuse to flash the guy, so she didn't really mind if he took a while to put the stamp on her.

Then, as Devon told her not to worry, and that Blue Pegasus was like a family, she smiled over at her and nodded. "Thanks, Devon~ And I really did mean it. You really are super pretty~ I hope we get to have lots of adventures, the four of us~ Us newbs could sure use the help, after all, right Julia?~"

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Julia Neviccare 1st January 2014, 3:21 pm

Julia would walk behind the two adults, primarily behind Zack, as he was the guy who was planning on getting the two of them signed up. As the guy would slide over the bar and begin digging through the stuff underneath the bar, Julia would think on his words. Did she really want to do this? Was Blue Pegasus really the right choice for her? She didn't think on it too long, because the answer was too obvious for thought much deeper than those two questions. The answer was yes, and she was in this for the reasons she had stated very clearly. She was here to become strong and make friends.Julia would take the pen that Khalisha used to sign the sign-up sheet, and began to get ready to write, but then she noticed that all the names were written, and she would sniffle a bit. "Umm..." she would begin to try and explain. Julia would look at Zack in confusion, and a bit of distress was visible as well. "I do not know how to read or write," she explained in a bit more of a clear explanation than her previously given hum.

She would then get a good idea of what to do, and she would hand the pen over to Khalisha, "Could you write name for me?" Julia's eyes were bright and pleading, at the same time, giving one of those genuine puppy-dog looks. Due to events in her past barring her from learning to read or write in any language; she was even only barely considered fluent in the common tongue of Fiore, though she was more fluent in the language of Iceberg. Still Julia was sad that she couldn't do at least this much, and because of it, she would gain a slight amount of an inferiority complex at this moment.

Julia would take notice of Khalisha's pose, and her statement about how she wanted the tattoo there in case she had to take sexy pictures for a magazine. She would giggle a little bit, unable to comprehend the true meaning of sexy as those two understood it, but considered the fact that she was revealing her rather seductive rear end, she could understand the point of it, having seen a few magazines for Sorcerer weekly on her travels. Due to the nature of that though, Julia didn't want her tattoo somewhere where people would see it and think she was being some kind of lolita. So she would think more about this than she would have thought through the joining process. She would place her finger to her jaw for almost a whole minute before would finally have it. She would remove her rather tattered scarf, revealing a slightly more torn-up collar area of her coat, before unzipping slightly, and placing her finger right at the base of her throat. "Here, I'll take tattoo here," she would state to clarify the gesture.

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 2nd January 2014, 12:03 pm

The compliments caused both of them to blush briefly, but other than that their reaction was not over the top. Devon didn't mind being last. Compared to Khalisa, even with her wings, she felt a bit plain. However, for such a beauty to call her beautiful perked her up a bit. The cat lady was the first to sign her name and show where she wanted her tattoo. Where she wanted it was, highly unusual.

Zack sort of froze and Devon did entirely with a strange look on her face as Khalisa asked to have her stamp and probably the most provocative area she could have on her body without it being classed as indecent exposure and even then it was close. However, Zack smiled briefly and stamped it leaving the stamp as white for a moment. It would glow briefly and then change to whatever colour the Khalisa decided before becoming permanent. Zack did have a blush on her face though and Devon was glaring at the pair of them as if she was going to kill them. However, both of them returned to calmness with the distraction provided by Julia. It seemed she was unable to read and write which both of them found quite sad. They both loved to read believing the escape from reality to be amazing. Zack smiled at her. "That's fine Khalisa can sign it for you if she wants, or if she doesn't Devon will." he said to her. That made sense to him. He couldn't see any issue to it.

"And here is your tattoo." he said after her name had been added to the list and placed the stamp on her neck. Like with Khalisa it was white at first, then it glowed brightly before turning to the colour Julia decided. "Welcome to the guild Khalisa and Julia." He thought for a while thinking if there was anything else that was necessary. "Ah yeah, Devon will show you to the girl's halls later if you want. Or you can choose to stay at a place somewhere else, they are kind of expensive though, particularly if they know you're a mage."

Khalisha grinned happily, letting out a light giggle as she felt the stamp on her rear. She shivered as it turned bright blue and she stood up straight once more, letting her skirt drop and closing her eyes as she smiled. "Thanks, big boy!~" She said in a bit of a cheesy flirt at the guy; the phrase was old and over-done from it's generation, but she thought that since it hadn't been commonly used for so long it would make the perfect line. Then, hearing Julia's words, her smile turned into a little pout and her ears flattened against her head as she stared at the adorable little girl and knelt down next to her. "Awww! You can't read?" Khalisha took the pen quickly and sniffled, her eyes watering a bit as she tried not to cry. She had a soft spot for cute little girls, and even the smallest bad thing registered as tragedy to her when it came to the little ones, and the inability to read or write wasn't even a small thing, so she was on the verge of tears. She nodded at the girl's request, taking the form as well and signing "Julia Neviccare" on it in big letters, dotting the 'I's with hearts. "There!~ I signed it for you, you little darling~"

Unable to hold it in any longer Khalisha tossed the form over her shoulder and hugged the little girl tightly once her tattoo was in place, squeezing her and nuzzling against her affectionately, no longer purring as she whimpered occasionally. "It's so sad!~ I'm gonna teach you how to read and write one of these days, okay? I promise!" Needless to say, Khalisha was a bit emotional about this. This entire situation was actually quite uncommon for her; she normally handled everything she did with a sense of grace, but the joy of joining the guild and the cuteness of the little girl overwhelmed her and got her too excited for her to handle properly.

After a few moments of this overly-affectionate and more so emotional display of hugging and nuzzling, Khalisha finally managed to collect herself and pulled away slightly, blushing and scratching the side of her face with one finger as she sat on her heels and looked away slightly, her tongue sticking out and her eyes closed. "Eheh, sorry. I got a bit carried away. I'm usually much more... Stable than that, I swear." She said, standing up and pulling her tongue into her mouth, opening her eyes again. She put her arms behind her back and kicked at the ground a bit nervously still, but she seemed to be back to her normal, energetic but graceful self. "Anyway, until I earn some money of my own, I'd love for Devon to show me where I can sleep.. I wouldn't even mind if she dropped by every now and then~" She said, winking at Devon. It was the fairy's turn to be flirted with, and Khalisha particularly liked the cutie, so she was laying it on a bit thick, even though she didn't really expect anything to come of it. It was pretty obvious she liked Zack.

The Day the Snow Stopped [Open] Empty Re: The Day the Snow Stopped [Open]

Post by Julia Neviccare 8th January 2014, 11:18 pm

Julia would clasp her hands together in gratitude as Khalisha would sign her name on the paper. She would watch carefully as she tried to figure out exactly how she did that, but all she could really do was point out the obvious, "Waow~! You are good writer!" She would gaze in wonder as Khalisha even managed to work a pair of hearts into the signature. Julia was astounded that a person could get so good at writing such an obscure language, even her own mother couldn't so fluently write down words in the common language of Fiore... and believe her, that was done at least every other mission due to some smuggling runs that needed to happen. Julia would blink a bit in amazement up until Khalisha would suddenly lose her cool about the subject and practically collapse and Julia was embraced in a hug unlike any other. Mind you, this was after Julia would receive her guild tattoo.

With the words of promise spoken by Khalisha, Julia would understand very little of why this person was so saddened by the simple fact of Julia being unable to read or write in the common language of Fiore. She couldn't even write in the common language of Iceberg, heck she hardly knew the specifics behind why a pen worked. To Julia, the people who could read and write were just the superior people to her, she had just recently even earned the right to leave her cage, and escape home, after all. All that was how life seemed to work to Julia, like everyone had her point of view. The fact that Khalisha could write just showed more life experience. Yet Julia couldn't say anything more than, "O-okay." She would simply blink a bit more as Khalisha would regain her bearings after a few moments of intense hugging and nuzzling in which Julia was particularly paralyzed. She would then breathe a bit of a sigh of relief, though in the end Julia was just holding her breath. Back at the dark guild, there lived a Poison Mage who had an aura of nausea, and was extra touchy-feely about her conversations. Julia learned to hold her breath when people were doting on her in such a manner, lest she had inhaled poison and would get sick, and the beatings would ensue. She would shake the memories from her mind, Julia was a free girl now. That Poison Mage was no longer a factor.

Suddenly her ears would wiggle a bit in a childish manner. A place she could stay in, instead of having to pay bills, she would giggle a bit, "They did have place for people to stay." Julia would be able to use the money she stole from the caravan (the only way outside of missions she knew about to obtain money) for something else, like new clothes that weren't worn down from her journey from middle Iceberg to and island on the far east side of Fiore.

The comment made by Khalisa was taken in different ways by the two friends. Devon blushed profusely and turned her head away to try and hide it whilst Zack just shrugged. He didn't seem to have registered the innuendo in the comment at all. To him Innuendo was just a good song. He was always a bit blunt when it came to matters of a sexual nature. For someone so skilled in swordmanship and combat it was strange how dull his mind could be on some matters. "I'm sure the three of you will be best friends in no time." Zack said and then leapt over the bar and ran off without even saying goodbye. This left Devon with the two newbies. She shook her head and began to walk off.

"Come on then ladies. I'll show you to your quarters. Its co-ed so be careful what you wear. Some of the men here are a bit more...physically inclined than Zack." this was mostly said to Khalisa who would be an obvious target for some of the more pervy or 'beauty-obsessed' as they preferred to be called. "You won't see Zack there though. He sleeps on one of the ships normally, or near his bikes." Zack was all about speed and thrills so a motorbike was one of his favourite ways to travel. He had one that was specially designed to use magic power and with the high level he had it could go insanely fast. It was quite a thrill just riding it. Plus the risk of it draining all your magic power was just another thrill.

She led them up a staircase to a corridor with doors on either side. "This is where the newer mages stay. As you stay here longer you're able to move to better quarters. Shuhei likes to reward those who stay a part of the guild and do stuff for its benefit." She looked about and nodded. "The ones at the end should be still free. Once you've made your pick just place your hand on the door and it will be sealed to your magical signature. You can remove the seal when you want as can Shuhei, it is his building after all. Though don't worry. He's normally drinking or sleeping so he won't bother you"

"Aww~ You're even more of a cutie when you blush!" Khalisha said, winking at Devon and giggling as she looked away, not noticing that Zack was leaving until it was already done. She felt a little bad that she couldn't say goodbye to him, but she figured he was used to it, since he seemed to have a habit of running off at high speeds. It appeared this way because that's the way she first met him, and Devon didn't seem phased by it at all, which meant it was at the very least a normal thing for him. Something that no attention needed to be brought to. Khalisha followed quietly -- well, as quietly as a large purring cat could sound, anyway, since that was basically what she was -- for a few moments, just looking around and enjoying the view of her new guild. She definitely liked it here, that much was for sure. "Well, that's good to here. I like being petted, after all." Khalisha managed to keep a completely straight face as she said this, which was especially impressive because it was very much a joke. After a moment or two in which she could see the others' reactions, if there were any, she burst into a giggling fit and spoke up once more. "Nahh!~ I'm just kidding! I mean, it's true in a way, but still! Besides, I like men, but I prefer women." This time she wasn't joking. Then the bit about not seeing Zack here registered and she had to blink a few times.

"Zack sleeps on the ships?" She was speaking in a low tone, talking to herself, and this was all she mentioned because Zack having bikes didn't surprise her enough for her to mention them. Plus she would rather not bring up him sleeping near them. She figured he was odd, after all everyone was odd (and in most situations she was the most odd, so she had no right to say anything on that matter), but that was just a bit too out there. Mostly because when she thought of it she thought of Zack cuddling up with a bike in a bed, so it's understandable that she'd think that was weird. She shook her head to clear it of that, and to focus on what Devon was saying now about the rooms. She gazed down the corridor at all of the doors, her smile persisting on her face. This was more than she expected out of free housing, anyway, so she was already plenty happy. She had expected a large room filled with bunk beds. "Oh, wow~ This place sure is pretty nice... All this room for new mages, huh?" She was already looking around at all the doors and checking to see if they were taken. She was trying to find a pair of rooms either right next to each other or across from each other. "Hey, Julia~ We should get rooms really close together! How's that sound? That way we can stay close and be best friends!~" She called out to the little albino girl, already having grown an 'unhealthy connection' to the little girl, as some modern-day psychiatrists might say, but forget them.

Khalisha was impressed with the way the doors worked, how you could 'bind' a room to you by pressing your hand up to the door and letting it read your magical signature. It was really quite amazing. After a very short time looking around at the rooms, she turned to face Devon again, pulling out her deck of magical cards and looking through them with mild interest, occasionally picking out a card. "Hey, Devon.. All joking and innuendo aside, you really like Zack don't you? Actually, don't answer that, it doesn't matter. What I'm actually trying to say is thanks for the warm welcome to the guild... I have a present for you, if you'll take it." She was walking towards Devon as she spoke, eventually holding four cards up. "Normally I'd just say something like 'my offer still stands' and wink at you or something.. But instead I'll just give you this."

Khalisha flipped two of the cards up into the air and let them do their thing (the cards being 'crystal' and 'heart'), forming a beautiful, tiny little heart out of deep red crystal. She put the other two cards away, on the top of the deck, and began to shuffle the deck with one hand as she held the little 1-inch tall heart up to Devon. "Here you go~ Just a little memento for when you first met me. I think I have something in here for Zack too, I just can't think of anything he'd particularly like.. I can't do much with the cards as of now, so it'd have to be small. And not very fast moving." She giggled again at the last thing she said, smiling at Devon as she waited for the fairy to take the heart. She was hoping that while she did this Julia would find a room that she liked, and planned on pestering her forever about going on missions together and playing games. She desperately wanted to shower the little girl with love, for whatever reason. She wanted to ask Devon to join in with the games and such, but she figured there would either be more of a tour of the building once she and Julia picked out rooms, or the fairy would have other things to do then just sit around and play with the kitty and the albino, which was why she picked now to get all serious and give Devon the super special present for being so kind.

Julia would wander along with her only aim being to follow Devon and the nice kitty-girl Khalisha. Her eyes were full of wonder as she walked along, the architecture within this building was absolutely flawless. The ancients would have approved of this amazing sight, even crafted it themselves. Yet Julia had heard that this was build but a few months back. Blue Pegasus was just getting back on its feet after all, and was becoming astoundingly popular amongst the mages who adore both magic and beauty. Julia couldn't even imagine what other guild halls must look like, they had time to actually develop in the end.

She would listen to the words of the human-sized fairy, and she would blink in even more astonishment than before. The actual thought that went into the guild's architecture exceeded all expectations, or even knowledge of possible designs for a building that Julia could even have imagined. A room who's key is the magical energy of the person who lives there! It was perfect! There was even the ability to remove it, which was extra great, in case Julia decided to move out of the hall and actually live in her own home, which she imagined some urge would come over her to make happen. Julia would hear that free rooms should be at the end of the hall, and it seemed like a pretty easy method to track, seeing how every room that was occupied had a magic circle on it's upper door part. Julia would walk along, hearing Khalisha declare something like they should live in really close rooms together. She didn't object, and even sort of thought it might be cool to hang out with Khalisha on a day to day basis.

"Okay Khalisha-chan~!" she would say in her thick but tiny Iceberg accent, as she would begin to jog along the hallways, looking for two adjacent vacancies. The magic circles would all be very intriguing as she would pass by them, and in the end, she would find a pair of doors that were unoccupied. Actually there was a few sets of those, and some beyond such measures, like three or even 4 vacancies in a row. Julia would look around and think about how she was supposed to do this. Devon said it should be a simple process, putting her hand on the door, and letting it read her magic signature.

So Julia would raise her hand, and place it upon the door. Suddenly, she felt a small tug at her magic pool, and then a tickling sensation. Thereafter she was caught entirely off guard as her eyes were flashed brightly by her magic circle, which was by far larger than the rest of the magic circles in the hallway, literally taking up the entirety of the door and even most of the adjacent walls. The whole thing would attest to the particularly large (and unstable it would appear) magic pool she possessed. "Waow! I was caught without guard. Magic circle surprise me," she would say, cheerily. The magic seal would fade out after a moment, causing Julia to look at the door with curiosity, and then the door would crack open. Julia would blink a couple of times, and then push the door open, and proceed to check out her room.

Since they had been shown to their rooms Devon decided to bid her farewells. She had things to do. She was about to leave when she was given the gift by Khalisa. She took it with a smile. "Thank you for the gift." she said with a definite tone of gratitude in her voice. She'd ignored the other comments Khalisa made though they did make her blush. "I don't have anything to give you except friendship and the promise of aid should you need it. As for Zack...anything fast." She thought for a moment. "Speaking of the speed demon I best go find him. See you girls later." With that she shrunk down to her child form, the necklace shrinking with her and flew off without another word.

Won't you stare at the skies with me tonight? I'd be so happy if it was you and me under the moonlight.

"Ouch!" If Julia and Khalisa turned around to see what that noise was, they would see a little blue-haired and blue-eyed boy with a blue vest, a cute little turban, and a beige pair of oversized pants tied to his waist with a yellow scarf. There was a red gem attached to the turban and the boy also seemed to be carrying around some sort of wooden staff that was across hallway on the floor. The little boy was rubbing his forehead as it seemed he hit it when the man and his fairy companion zoomed away. When he got to his feet again, he blinked in confusion for a second before he realized that he was missing something. "O-Oh no!", the little boy exclaimed as he realized that his staff wasn't in his hand. He looked around frantically for a moment before he spotted it and quickly scampered over it. He picked it up gently and seemed to meticulously check it for damage. Not the way a check would see if a toy was broken. It was obvious that this staff was quite important to the child.

When he was sure that the staff was fine, the boy sighed in relief. He then turned and then caught eyesight of Julia and Khalisa starring at him, if they were. The boy looked around trying to find a place to hide, saw none, so he did what any child would do in a situation like this.

He closed his eyes as a big blush filled his face. "I..I hope I'm n-not bothering you... I-I saw your pretty magic a-and I followed you here. P-Please don't be mad at me...", the little guy said with a timid voice. The one he had been following was Julia, as he had seen her while she was still in town.
