Miku Comes to Lamia Scale [Entrance Thread l Private]

Miku and Adessa walked down the streets of Hargeon until they reached Lamia Scale's guildhall. It was an enormous building made out of what looked to be pure marble. Miku opened the large marble doors and went inside. When she got in, she noticed that it wasn't very furnished with only a few chairs and maybe one table, all made out of marble. She then walked around the guildhall in awe. Miku had never seen such a place before in her entire life.

Adessa was the one who brought Miku to the guild. There was the typical blank face as she stepped in, just the ever alert eyes that watched everyone. She just ate so this time there was nothing she was eating currently, but instead called out to everyone. "Hey we have another one joining Lamia Scale. So who will be the first one to say hello and be spared of needle sticking for a week? First come, first serve!" Adessa knew that suddenly there was going to be people talking to Adessa to be spared of her needles. However she secretly wished Miku luck.

Talen was siting at the bar when Adessa and the new recute walked into the guild hall. He was just relaxing today. He had Medusa with him today, he did not summon her very often during missions, so he thought that now was a good time to see her.

When Adessa said that there was a new member, he looked up ready to greet them, but when the scientist said that whoever greeted the new recruit would not have blood taken this week, he rushed over. "Welcome to Lamia Scale, I'm Talen, and this," he pointed to the gorgon next to him, "Medusa, a close friend of mine." Medusa looked at the newcomer and said in a very quiet voice, "Hi."

Ao was just sitting behind one of the tables, when Adessa and someone she hadn't seen before walked into the guild hall. She did look impressed with the guild hall and when Adessa notified that she would be joining the guild, Ao got a little nervous. She had just got familiar with all the people and felt safe near them. She was still happy to see new members as they could be really friendly. And as Adessa told that the first one to say hi would get away from blood donating, Ao was ready to run but as she saw Talen beat her to it, she had a disappointed look on her face. Well i guess i should say Hi. Ao walked closer to the the new girl, pulling her hat down a little bit and said: Welcome to Lamia Scale, my name is Ao. When she had welcomed her, Ao hid behind Talen, hoping he wouldn't mind.

Two people hurriedly came up to great Miku after Adessa made her announcement. One was a good looking guy named Talen, the other was a short, shy girl named Ao. They both seemed like nice humans and it made Miku smile cutely at them when they greeted her. "It's nice to meet you all, my name's Miku!~" she said making a peace sign with her fingers. "starting today, I'll be a member of this guild too, I hope I can study and learn much from you guys!~"

Adessa said, “Well congratz Talen, you have been spared of being the test subject of this new drug that I have been making. Now I can use time to figure out why the guinea pigs were spontaneously combusting.” Adessa was joking about injecting Talen, but not the part about guinea pigs spontaneously combusting. Why were they, it was a fascinating thing. Shaking her head, she said “Miku is an android trying to learn about humans. Go easy on her guys.” Adessa then grabbed Ao from behind Talen and pulled her up front. Ao was unbelievable sometimes. She was fine with Bikini modeling, but seeing a new person got her nervous? Adessa will be her psychologist to help her go through this! Adessa put Ao front and center of the group of people so Miku could meet her properly. Adessasaid, “Come on Ao, you survived Bikini modeling smiling and coming out like a cute princess. You can at least look up and smile at Miku properly.”

Talen raised an eyebrow as he looked at Ao, he could not really see the shy little mage being a bikini model.

When Adessa said that Miku was an android, Medusa's eyes lit up for a second. She slithered closer to the new recruit with a look of curiosity on her face. "Medusa what are you doing?" The gorgon looked right into Miku's eyes, tilting her head to one side. Medusa's eyes started to glow a dull blue. "Medusa don't!" Talen said as he tried, unsuccessfully, to get in between the two women. Medusa had attempted to turn Miku into stone, however since she was not technically alive, Medusa's power did not work on the android.

"I am so sorry!" Talen said as he got up from the ground, "Medusa does not normally does not try to turn people into stone." He now turned to the spirit with an expression that was both angry and questioning, "Why did you do that?" Talen asked. Medusa looked at Miku once more before saying quietly "I like her" Talen instantly made the connection and explained to the rest, "Medusa is a very lonely spirit, even in the spirit world almost none of the other spirits will talk to her because of what she can do." Talen gave Medusa a hug as he continued, "You are one of the few people that she does not affect and for that reason she seems to like you."
