The Unbareble heat lets go swim in the waterpark! (private)

Dryaw was laying on the floor somewhere in blue Pegasus basis as he was sweating to the bone. His home land was a more subtle climate. Never too hot in the summer, extreme colds in the winter. But here the sun was frying everything merciless. It was the first time he ever felt a heat like this on his body. He tried to move a finger but even that was too much. He felt like a dried bacon strip. How the hell would he survive this day. Elise was out walking somewhere she had caught something in her web or something. Well he hoped it wasn’t a human. Oh the trouble he had with her. At least she was good again. But the deity had a mind of her own.

The wind plunged the windows open as suddenly a bunch of papers fell from a table near him. They were floating around like a whirlwind and finally one of them fell in front of him. It was a page completely in blue. Pictures of waterslides and swimming pools were burned in dryaws eyes. in big orange letters on the top there was saying: “NOW FOR HALF OF THE PRICE DURING THE WEEKEND SWIMMING FANTASIA”

“I have to go to this. Where did I put my money. But first to survive the walking to the amusement park.”, dryaw taught as he was searching through his clothes. He finally found his bag of jewels and started to count them slowly to see if he had enough to go swimming. After a small counting intervention he found out that he had enough. He crawled to the desk and pushed himself up against it. his head was spinning like crazy but he had to go to those baths! Redemption was coming close.

A hour later..

He was finally here the water park. Countless of people were walking around going in and out of the park. All in bathing clothing. Luckily dryaw had thought of swimming and recently bought some swimming pants. He wanted to go to the entrance that was covered with sea animal tedy bears. Children were running around it and teenagers were using the shadows to do lovely dove stuff. He pushed himself from the wall and started running to the entrance. He was crossin the heated stones that were extra hot since this was a place to dry and keep warm in the evening. His enthousasme was being poured out of his body with each step he did. He hoped he would make it. but then suddenly a glimpse of a girl came in his vision. He was going to fast no change to stop.

BAM. A frontal collision on her and both fell in the ground.

The silver haired crow was woken up by abruptly by the sound of someone pounding hard on her room’s door. Raven, who was sleeping happily with the covers over her head at the moment stirred slightly before turning, spreading her legs wide while still snoring away as if nothing happened. The pounding continued, causing her to stir again. Her black little pet, Kuroe, who happened to be snoring on the branch of a tree next to Raven’s room window snapped out of his dream, almost falling off the branch from the rude awakening. “What the heck?” he turned his head left and right frantically in search for the source of the noise before fixing his eyes on the door to Raven’s room.

The raven woman and her pet were staying in a hotel somewhere in Clover town where they arrived just yesterday due to Raven’s wish to travel around Fiore and meet people. Kuroe was not obviously up for the whole idea as his warm home back at Sabertooth called for him at every second. But it so happened that Raven was able to drag him with her to everywhere she went, using his duty as a pet to protect her as her excuse. Kuroe always rolled his eyes at this as it wasn’t like Raven ever even let him actively take part in a battle. She always seemed to have kept him at a distance whenever she started fighting. He guessed it was because she cared about him and he really appreciated it. He would never admit it for Raven to ever even dream of hearing but he always believed that he was lucky to have met someone like Raven.

The half sleepy crow jumped again as he heard the pounding sound again and again. Sighing at the things he had to do, Kuroe flew into the room, took a place right next to Raven and pecked her left cheek with his beak only to have the silver haired girl stir again before settling down. “This woman…” he mused as he transformed to his original form, flapping his wings to create a hard enough wind to push the unsuspecting girl off the bed.

“THUD” a loud sound followed by the scream of a girl echoes through the room as Raven now sat wide awake on the floor, the sheet cover falling right next to her. She blinked once, twice and thrice before adjusting her vision to see the room clearly. “What happe..” she didn’t get to finish her sentence at the pounding sound continued, attracting Raven’s attention to her room’s door.

She slowly got up, sauntered towards the door and opened it, holding back a yawn as she did so. “What is it?” she asked the little girl of five years that she seemed to have unintentionally befriended yesterday. The small girl beamed at her as she put away the broom that she seemed to have used to pound on her door with. “The water park! I want to go!” the girl bounced up and down as she held the poster of a water park in front of Raven’s face. “No,” she tried to say when she noticed the light in the girl’s eyes starting to go down. “Alright! Fine, I’ll go. Just don’t start crying,” she finally gave up, going right back into her room to get changed.

Raven pulled on a white loose tank top and a light blue jeans shorts as she got ready to go to this water park place the little girl was so excited about. She didn’t know what a water park is and she has never been to one before in her life. She opened the door, stepped out and locked it before heading out, meeting the child on the way out and taking her along with her. Kuroe was following them from a distance in his ordinary crow form so that people won’t get scared of him and start panicking.

As soon as they stepped inside the water park, the girl let go of her hands and ran towards where her ever rising interest seemed to take her. “Tamako, don’t run” Raven sighed, starting after her charge. She was rounding a corner when she suddenly felt something hard colliding with her before falling to the ground.

Dryaw had hit the ground not that hard but his but hurt more than expected. Probably from this nearly dry state he was in. He got up from the ground as he patted his but. He looked at the other person that he bumped into or had he she bumped into him. He didn’t know but he wasn’t angry these things happen. The person on the floor turned out to be a girl. It wasn’t a bad looking one either. She was wearing a white tank top with some jeans on the bottom. He stood there and staired at the her a bit baffled about the fact it was a girl he had to run into. Before realizing he was being rude. He quickly stepped to her and put his hand out towards her.

“By the light of ferinity sorry that I run you over. I was running from this blast full heat. If you could forgive me I would like to buy you on a ice cream or something seeing that you were also running to the watepark”, he asked while he rubbed the back of his head. Hopfully that will make up for this embarrassing moment.

The wind flew against his cape as it flew up. His shoulder pad was a bit bad because of the fall. He rearranged it till it was good against. The golden lines on his face were shining brightly in the sun as he was looking at her. Suddenly there was a shadow above him and not much later a spider landed on him. He was crushed against the ground. The air was pressured from his ribs. A smoke cloud came from his location. Dryaw tried to see who was on him and the moment he saw a sweat drop appeared on his head.

Above him a big spider was sitting triumphantly with her cought pray. But not a second later the spider started to glow and changed of shape. The legs and body started to form limbs and legs and not much later a girl was standing on him. She was wearing a blue miniskirt and a golden top. Six spider legs sprouted out of her back. A sinister smile was on her lips.

“I caught you little prey”, she said and raised her fist in the air. Dryaw was just sighing. Once again she hd fooled him that she wouldn’t do something. Ah well this would be a awkward scene.

The force of the collision sent Raven falling back to the ground only to be caught just in time by Kuroe who pushed her back up again. The silver haired girl sighed in relief, straightening out her tank top before looking at the man that now was getting back up. She narrowed her eyes at him, getting slightly irritated at the turn of events. As if that wasn’t enough, she even caught him staring at her.’ How rude!’ she thought, puffing up her cheeks. She opened her mouth, having every intension of yelling at him for not watching where he was going when she heard him apologize.

She stood there, mouth open, ready to yell at him and he apologized, making her blink her eyes a few times, her mouth still open. “Oh..” she said, closing her mouth and straightening herself out. The baffled girl giggled nervously, scratching the back of her head with her right hand before nodding at him, pleased with the fact that this guy wasn’t one of those rude people that would not even apologize. But, it would be a lie to say that his choice of words didn’t make her raise her eyebrow. By the light of ferinity? And he was running from the heat? Now, is that even possible? Wouldn’t running just make you feel hotter?

She blinked again, registering the words in her head, deciding that she should not question him about his words and should be equally polite. “It’s alright. I don’t mind,” she smiled, holding out a hand for him to shake. She noticed; from his words that he was probably heading to the water park too where she would have been by now if it wasn’t for their small situation.

The next bit that happened made her retract her hand and jump in surprise al at the same time. There on top of the man was a….what was that? A spider? A girl? A spidey girl? The astonished raven controller looked at both of them before changing her gaze to Kuroe who looked equally surprised. There was something else on his eyes too which Raven wasn’t able to pick up. She shrugged it off, thinking that it was probably nothing. “Ahh hello?” she called, hoping to get their attention. “Everything alright?” she asked, walking over to them to see if the man was alright. She was about to bend and look at him when she felt a weight on her back, making her lose her balance and fall to the ground. “The heck?!” she yelled, furiously and looked over her shoulder to find Tamako sitting on her back. She could vaguely hear Kuroe laughing at the whole sight from the back and rolled her eyes, pushing herself off the ground, causing the girl to fall to the floor as well.

“RAVE CHAN!TOO SLOW!” Tamako yelled at the raven girl, making her ears twitch in irritation. “ Kids…” she sighed, getting back up. “They are just so handful.”

Dryaw pushed Elise from him as he was trying to get up. Not much later he got a hand helping him up. Elise was helping him up while she was giving a playful tough teasing smile. He dusted himself off while he tried to regain a bit of his dignity and then saw the girl also laying on the ground but then with a kid on her. Dryaw gained a smile on his face as he was stunned by the situation. They both were knocked down twice now. Ah he had good fibes about this day already. He picked up the young girl from the ground and placed her next to the fallen one. He put his hand out towards the girl on the ground.

“everything okay. Sorry for this strange event this girl is celine my traveling companion. It seems you have a little fellow with you to. Hmm and what a strange bird is flying there behind you. Ah sorry for these questions get up first.”, Dryaw said as he looked over at the little girl. That now was disappeared. He looked around but not much later he was hearing screams.

“WEEEEEEEE ride on le spider of awesomeness. I’ll take you to a water ride.”, celine shouted as she took off with the little shild on her while she was in spider form. Dryaw was a bit baffled at the site. Didn’t spiders hate water? Or did celine just forget because she had a new toy. Ah that women would be his dead one day.

“I am Dryaw by the way. Member of blue Pegasus. So if you need a tour here I could also always help you. But my earlier offer is also still counting.”, he said while he smiled towards the girl who was known as rave chan by the little girl. She seemed a good person If she walked with children. Well this day could only get better.

Raven, who was still on the ground, was trying her best not to unleash a string of curses on the very day that she decided to befriend the little girl that lived right next to the room she currently stayed in. Sighing, she lo0ked up when she felt the weight of the girl being moved from her to find the man picking Tamako up and placing her somewhere next to her before offering her a hand to take. She took it gladly and got up, shooting a smile at the direction of the man as a silent way to say thanks.

As he started talking about the “strange bird” behind her, Raven started laughing while Kuroe just started glaring at the man. “I AM A CROW! A CROW! IS IT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT?!” Kuroe yelled, flailing his wings around in frustration. “Don’t start shouting, Kuroe. You do look a bit strange,” the red eyed girl teased, sticking her tongue out at him to add the effect. The black raven just groaned, rolling its eyes before flying after the two girls that seemed to have run off.

Raven stared at the retreating figures of their companions as she rubbed the back of her head. “Those three….they are so gonna get into trouble, aren’t they?” Raven asked out loud, getting ready to follow them. “I’m Raven, Dryaw. And I would love some ice cream” she replied, still smiling. “But before that, I gotta warn. I aint that different from those kids”

Grinning from ear to ear, she started the way their companions that just went off. She was running behind them as well, leaving the guy back, yelling loud excitedly about the water park. She had a feeling that today would be a great day.
