Heero looked out into his swimming pool; as the bright blue water reflected off of the sun; his feet sat in the shimmering water with his jeans rolled up and blue tank top on. The shimmering water and sound of it; lifted his mood in but mere moments.
He looked up at the white fluffy clouds and inhaled a deep breath and took a long exhale.
"Aaaaaaaye~!" Garfield came flying out from the sliding glass doors at the top of the house. He carried two icey glasses; one filled with apple juice for him and another with soda for Heero; Dr. Lacrima of course. Heero took the soda from Garfield as he flew past stylishly; as the orange Exceed landed next to him, sitting at the edge of the pool; kicking his feet and sipping his juice. "Whew! Man, I'm so glad the town went back to normal!" Garfield commented; pulling out a pair of sunglasses from seemingly nowhere on this hot summer day.
"Haha--me too!" Heero quipped, agreeing. It would've been one thing to lose loved ones; but another to lose everything you had. Sure they could've rebuilt; but with Time Magic; houses went back to exactly the way they were the day before the attack. He really couldn't thank Abbigail and Blue Pegasus enough. Heero's nose wiggled; as he caught a scent in the air. Heero blushed immediately; and began looking on his blue jeans and blue tank top for any stains; he also immediately began to get 'excited' but he calmed himself down. Serene was coming, he'd memorized the scent of all her perfume and nearly all her clothes. A trick he'd learned from Natsu that he'd used on Lucy during his trip to Earthland B. Garfield immediately noticed the change in his body language. "You O.K, Heero?!" his high pitched voice quipped as he wiggled his tail. As soon as he saw Serene though; Garfield flew off across the yard and fanned his white wings out into flight; "Reeeeeeeeeene!" Garfield flew into her chest with a 'boing' and began rapidly running his mouth about everything Heero and he had been doing in the last 3 or 4 days since they'd seen eachother.
"Finally decided to come home huh?!" Heero quipped with his feet in the pool; kicking them playfully. "I thought you'd ran out on Fairy Tail and me for a minute there---!" Heero poked at her; but his eyes had an adoring look to them. "Y'know it's not too late to have your father and his Rune Knights pull up in a carriage and escort you far, far, away from psychopathic degenerates, like me." Heero quoted an article written about him by the Rune Knights; raising a hand and articulately stating it like a gentleman would. He did his best not to check her body out as she approached; closing his eyes and crossing his arms with his feet in the pool. "Apparently I was responsible for more of the damage to the town than Savage Skull----I don't know if that's true or not." Heero said with a sweatdrop over his head; hanging his head in shame as Serene finally arrived completely.
