Kayra smiled as she walked down the Streets of the town that connected to the royal castle. she was finally here after days of traveling and decided to sit down for some lunch before she met up with Zack. She remembered how they worked very well in a team from the Monster Tournament a month or so before. Kayra Hid under her cloak as usual as she walked up to a nearby stall that sold BBQ meat on sticks. "Ohhhh those look really good!" She drooled a little bit and paid the man for two sticks of amazing meat, she then continued to walk down the street looking side to side for a bench to sit on. After a block or so she found a bench and sat down to enjoy her meal.
The meat smelled amazing and she quickly began to eat. The smell forced Jazmin to pop out of the cloak and enjoy the meat as well. "GeGe.. Where is Delvic and Zack?" the small faery said as she flew around one of the two meat sticks. "Im not totally sure yet. I know we are suppose to meet at the royal Inn soon. so.. we will go after we eat." she smiled and took another bite from her stick. Meanwhile the small faery had been busy while Kayra spoke and ate the entire thing. "Uh.. Jazmin, you can sure eat a lot for an Orb faery."
Jazmin flew around Kayra's head with excitement. "It was yummy! GeGe.. come on Kayra! lets go to the Royal Inn!" The Faery flew back into kayra's cloak. Kayra got up and headed over to the Inn which was only a few Shops away. On the way over she noticed very expensive weapons and couldnt help but stop at one of the windows. A beautiful steel staff jeweled with magic and symbols sat there, Kayra's eyes stuck to the image and wanted it very very badly. "30,000 Jewels.. thats quite a lot of money.." Kayra sighed and moved on to the Inn.

Zack, being the speed freak that he was, had already arrived at the inn. However, being the thrill seeker that he was he was currently handstanding, on one hand, atop a flag pole at the top of it. He was quite insane by most people's standards. Flitting about him was a small green orb, which was his companion Devon. Devon was a demonic fairy. He hopped up slightly and used that small time in the air to quickly swap hands, but missed. However, he didn't fall and merely changed his grip to grab hold of the pole and spun his body round and kicked off of it. It was quite a feat of athletic ability. He landed in a roll on the ground just in time to see the approach of Kayra.
Kayra was a person he had fought alongside once in the past, but he knew nothing about her really except she was skilled with a staff. He had no idea what her magic was simply because they had been in the neutral grounds where no magic worked for some reason. She was a good fighter and as she approached he noted her magic aura was about that of a D rank mage. There were a lot of low ranking mages about nowadays, but that just made these missions more fun as it made them trickier to complete. They were waiting on another person too, but that person he had not met.
He raised a hand in greeting to Kayra and Devon sat on his shoulder the glow fading to reveal a small blonde haired woman dressed in green and white. Zack himself was wearing his typical black leather jacket with the silver and white embroiders with black jeans. Beneath the jacket he was wearing a simple t-shirt that was white in colour. Over his right eye was his trademark black eyepatch and around his brow, holding his messy red hair up, was his green headband. The grazes and bruises he had sustained from his fall had already healed. He loved his bloodline sometime even if it did have some negatives for social interaction at points.
"Yo Kayra. Long time no see. Knocked out any more giant monster teeth?" he said in greeting with a big grin on his face. It was rare to see a time when he wasn't smiling. "Whose the other guy we are waiting for?" He had heard the name, but had forgotten it already. People needed to do things to stick in his memory. Kayra stuck in his memory because she'd worked out one of the watiger's weaknesses and knocked out its tooth. An impressive feat for anyone. The mission they had all come to complete was...difficult. However, this was not due to the power of the opponent's they might face or their skill or some other danger. The problem was everything had to be done in total secrecy. If they were revealed then they would lose the reward. It was truly a pain. Oh well, it would be a challenge and if there was one thing he loved it was a challenge.

Del sat staring at Zach over his book, he had watched his “daring” feat for the last couple minutes as he sat at the small café across the street, he wore his usual brown robes with the hood pulled over his head, and he sat on a heavy book to make up for his lack of height. Delvic wasn’t sure what to think of the guy, he was obviously powerful, but he didn’t like the air that he let off, maybe it had something to do with his magic. Delvic felt like he would get hurt just by breathing the same air as the guy.
When Zach hit the ground Del finally noticed Kayra’s approach, he put his book down as to not be noticed, and sipped lightly at his tea, and he wanted to at least finish his meal before being dragged into anything. He grinned under his hood with a prayer that this all went smoothly.
Del slowly finished up and lifted his book again, thinking of the job they were on and how he needed to complete it without being noticed at all. He grinned, and then cringed in remembrance of how much trouble he could get in. He thought of how close a call it had been in the Spooky Forest with Kayra. He couldn’t risk something of that caliber with a mage of Zack’s level, where even Delvic had heard his name. He peaked over his book again at the pair and began worrying about how he was going to hide his power this time and still succeed.

Kayra Stared at Zack as he jumped off the top of the Inn and had landed in front of her. she would expect no less from him after the amazing feats he had accomplished at the Monster Tournament. She greeted him with a smile. "Zack! It has been quite awhile.. hehe.." Kayra Looked at The faery on his shoulder and admired her, but got back to Zack's question about the teeth. "Well! a little bit ago i knocked some teeth out of a few Vulcans in the Spooky forest." she leaned on her staff. "..Errr.. Im not sure where Delvic is.. If i know him he is probably across the street sipping a cup of tea--" Kayra looked over to see Delvic with his Tea.
"There he is!" Jazmin popped out of Kayra's cloak as soon as she had Sensed Delvic and zoomed over to him. "GeGe.. What are you reading this time Delvic?" The Little faery glowed a bright yellow. Kayra Looked over to the Powerful Wizard in front of her and took a deep breath in before speaking. "All ready to go on the Job?"
Kayra knew that this Job was going to be a lot different from the other Jobs; One, It wasnt in the spooky forest like they usually were, and two the client was the royal mans wife. it seemed that the man was stubborn and did not want to accept help from others. Kayra could understand this, but almost being assassinated? it was Crazy not to accept help. She seemed to drift off into her own little world while staring at Zack, waiting for a reply.
The Little Faery flew around Delvic excited to see him but soon saw the other faery and became very interested in knowing who she was and what kingdom she was from. Jazmin flew over quicky and smiled at the Faery on Zacks shoulder. "GeGe.. Hello! its been awhile since i have seen another Fae. What Kingdom are you from?"

Devon raised an eyebrow at the questioning. She too was surprised to see another fairy, but didn't let it show too much. If you let things surprise you all the time then you'd get caught off guard and soon after you'd be dead. "The kingdom of malkaris, you?" she replied wondering what the reaction would be. The kingdom of malkariss was the kingdom of the demon fairies, like herself. However, it was often known as the realm of nightmares. The fairies themselves weren't too bad for the most part, but...some of the other denizens were rather nightmarish. Then again what do you expect for a demonic realm? "I'm Devon by the way."
Zack meanwhile looked at the other two mages. Delvic had been here a while it seemed. Zack had spotted him earlier, but hadn't registered it as the other mage. He had been having far too much fun. It seemed the two mages he was partnered with favoured cloaks with hoods. Useful for this sort of task. Perhaps they were skilled at secretive work. It was something he himself had done little of despite having two spells that were ideally suited for it. Three if you thought about it carefully, but he rarely used the third for spying work. "Let's hope so. Stealth work really isn't my thing, but considering this is a C rank job the assassins can't be all that tough." he said with a shrug. He didn't like to underestimate people, but it was a c rank job so D ranks and C ranks should be capable of it and he was far stronger. "Heck its probably only C rank because of the stealth requirement." That was probably true in his opinion though in this case he was saying it because he was generally quite light hearted and he didn't want the others to get too worried especially after he said stealth work wasn't his thing.
"So what's the plan?" he asked. He was the strongest mage here, but that didn't mean he planned to lead. Often the strongest mage was the worst choice to lead as they were more about power than strategy. In Zack's case it was more about speed. He liked to do things as quickly as possible. However, this job would likely involve a lot of standing still and hiding. It was not his thing, but the challenge was good and the money wasn't half bad either. Plus it gave him a chance to see what the mages on the up and up were capable of. "I'm not the planning type normally, but in the case of a stealth job...its kinda necessary. I have a spell that can make us all nearly invisible and a spell useful for spying. Other than that...I don't have much stealth stuff."

Delvic gave up his cover once Jazmin started buzzing about; he hopped down from his chair, and grabbed the book he had been sitting upon, leaving jewel on the table as he did so. He crossed the street and taking down his hood, revealing his young appearance. He smiled and offered his hand, “I’m Delvic, and you must be Zack-kun.” Del lightly bowed denoting the powerful wizard, he then smiled, “Could I get an autograph?” he asked holding out the large tome he had been sitting on before.
Delvic looked then to Kayra, with his usual, attitude. “Hi Kayra-chan!” he said almost bouncing with his rampant energy. With Zack’s last statement though the look in Del’s eyes changed, “Then you handle search and destroy, we need eyes in the sky, and your fairies can cover that job. Kayra and I will handle the crowd control, but the almost invisibility will be useful to avoid mistakes.” Delvic then looked questioningly at Zack, “Just how fast are you?” he asked with his calculating gaze fixed on the two others. The book and autograph now the farthest thing from his mind.
He looked at Zack awaiting an answer, but then pointed to Kayra stating “We ditch the hoods by the way, in fact we will lose the cloaks all together. There is nothing more suspicious then a cloak in a crowd.” He turned to Zack once again, “do you think you can get us the word when the time comes?” Del didn't underestimate Zack, but he needed to know his pieces.

The small Faery zoomed around Devon and giggled. "OHHH!!! so we are like cousins! GeGe.. I am The princess of Nova Kingdom, Jazmin Nova." The Faery was just too excited to hold it all in. In the Nova Kingdom there was no such thing as Dark or Light, only different forms of energy. Faerys were interesting creatures of wonder and some of them loved to play pranks on others; Some of those pranks ended up getting people killed but they were still funny a lot of the time to certain Fae.
Jazmin was the type of Faery that did not judge anyone, She did not care if you had murdered someone or were considered Dark or Evil. all that mattered to her was adventures and having a good time and like most Nova Orb Fae she was interested in Healing arts. The Nova Kingdom Is a Beacon of Light for Faerys that wish to learn the healing arts. Many Faerys of all shapes and sizes were welcomed with open arms to the kingdom and it was always seen as home to any and all Faerys. The arts that are mainly learned in Nova Kingdom was the Healing arts and advanced faerys are able to learn to transform into a human-like being for a short period of time.
Kayra Looked at both Zack and Delvic. "Ill go along with whatever plan.." She really did not have a plan with this mission like she usually did, so she looked to them for guidance. She stood there with her torn and beaten up Purple cloak and frowned. "But.. I like my cloak.." As she took off her cloak for the mission it revealed her nice, curvy body and Black hair that flowed down her back. She felt naked without her cloak, it was her form of security when things went bad or when she was embarrassed. Kayra Sighed and scratched her head. "So... what next?"

"The nova kingdom ay? You should get along with Zack quite well. He's got a few healing spells that are pretty good." Devon replied. She hadn't met many fairies since she had left Malkariss to guard the Eye of Emptiness and its wielder Zack. "Its been a while since I've met another fae." It was true. Ever since she'd left to guard Zack she hadn't returned to the kingdom of Malkariss nor any of the fairy kingdoms. On top of that fae weren't exactly common outside the kingdoms.
Zack picked up the tome and pulled a pen from his pocket giving it a quick sign. It was simple enough and something that didn't bother him. He was A rank and by most people's standards quite attractive. He'd actually considered appearing in the Sorceror's weekly magazine if only for some extra cash and something different to do. Though he resisted doing that for now. There were other things that were definitely more funny to do. "Search and destroy, just my style. Got one spell that should solve that bit perfectly." Zack nodded at the comment about the invisibility. It would be useful to cover their asses in the case of a mistake. He considered the point about how fast he was and decided to answer simply. "Fast enough, and with spells to make me faster if I'm not." The final point was easy enough to answer. "If I know where you are and you're within 100ft I can get word to you silently and I can find out where you are easily enough. If not...should we have some kind of signal?" His one eye widened slightly as it scanned over the now revealed body of Kayra. He'd seen her before, but not without her trademark cloak. She was quite the looker and now he realised it, she was about the same age as him. Or at least she appeared it. How interesting. Fortunately, Devon was too busy considering the battle strategy to notice or she would have berated him. She loved Zack and was his self-proclaimed queen. He didn't say no to this, but nor did he say yes. He wasn't sure about his feelings for her. He was rarely sure about his feelings for anything because he just didn't spend a lot of time dwelling on things and focused more on doing things.
"Scouting the skies is my speciality. I'll stay hidden as much as I can then strike when necessary." Devon said and then turned to Jazmin. It seemed that the two of them would be working together on this mission. It was odd, she'd only just met this other fae, a member of a species she hadn't been in contact with for a while, and now they were teamed up. It made sense in a way because in their smaller forms they both could hide quite well in small areas. "Sound good to you Jazmin?"

Delvic dropped his focus to ogle his new signature, he felt so awesome to be working with a mage as famous as Zack, and he liked Zack’s answers, “this shouldn’t be too much trouble” he thought to himself. He turned grabbing hold of Kayra’s hand, “Let’s go aunty.” he said with a giggle. “When does our target arrive?” he asked as he turned back, to Zack, still in his childish voice.
Delvic tried to think of how this would all unfold, Zack, an A-rank mage would easily handle the quest, but his feeling of danger had not passed. He could simply feel that his magic was a threat, and that he couldn’t risk getting caught. Del looked up at Zack again smiling but got that same strange sensation of fear. He looked jealously at the fairies then and exclaimed “why does everyone have a cool partner?” He wanted to have a friend that didn’t disappear, but wasn’t sure where he could find something like that.
Delvic shifted uneasily, “what is your magic?” he asked Zack, now recognizing that even though he had heard of his feats he had never heard what his magic was. He knew it may help to alleviate the tension that had built up in his chest. He looked expectantly from the great wizard to Kayra, innocently. He tried to hide his worry, from them both, but mostly ended up looking like a giddy schoolboy instead. Del looked at the fairies as well and once again wished to himself that he had one too.
(Sorry wasnt sure what to say after the first paragraph, so most of it is his spontaneous filler)
