(R.P.) The Festival of Dragons and the Fancy Gentleman.

Every 10 Years The Grand City of Magnolia has a Two week Long Festival Dedicated to the ancient powers of the Dragons and the Dragon Slayers. the festivities consist of Countless Games, Plenty of Wizard Duels, and The Best food in all of Magnolia and even the world. We Begin This Tale On the First Night of the Festival where Countless Games are placed throughout the City that Test Wizard Skill, Will, and Endurance.



Kayra Looks to the Night sky that is Filled with Beautiful Stars and smiles. "Im Excited! Ive never been to a festival that lasts so long!" She says out loud to her Guild members. Colorful lanterns are hung everywhere around the city, lighting the way to different booths and lead even to the outskirts of the city where other Games are held. Kayra Smiles and Waits a moment for a reply to her statement.

Delvic's eyes flew every where he was so busy looking that he completely missed his nakama's statement. Delvic stood drooling as treats were prepared right before his eyes, he quickly dashed to observe another game barely giving Kayra any time to react to his sudden disappearing trick.

While Kayra Looked at the many decorated buildings Delvic had Vanished leaving her alone in the middle of countless people. "I... Delvic?!" She Looked around but could not seem to find him. her face grew a bit pale and she suddenly got nervous resulting in Pulling out her Dark Purple Cloak from her bag and hiding under the hood, making her feel safer. She let out a sigh and looked around once more for her team member. A fellow in a blue tunic caught her eye and she observed him for a few moments. The man was eating at an outside sushi bar and had just gobbled down a very large portion of Octopus, his hands were quick in eating all he could get his sticky fingers on. On the back of his tunic there was an Orange Fairy Tail Guild Symbol. Kayra's stomach growled as she observed the eating and wished to eat something and so she rushed over to the opposite side of the bar where the man sat and ordered Sushi rolls. The man had just finished as she sat down and left the Bar, winking at the Bar Maiden.

Bastion walked slowly through the alley way's around the festival, his yellow eyes keeping a close eye on the happenings. Of course, he to had been invited to join the festivities, but his nature prevented him from socializing with so many new and strange people. So many of them might be corrupted. How many dark wizards might be in the crowds? No, someone had to keep an eye on things and make certain that his guild mates, even if he didn't really like them, were kept safe.

He took a moment to watch a particular game, one of strength, and smirked under his mask. He could ace that game easy, and yet so many others seemed to be struggling with it. Amateurs. He shook his head to clear his thoughts, before turning and heading down another alley way, one moving behind some of the stalls, to check out the clerks. So many interesting things for sale......

Kayra Smiled as the Maiden brought her the sushi rolls she ordered. "Thank you!" Kayra said as her stomach rumbled. The maiden slightly bowed and left with a small smirk on her face. Kayra quickly ate the sushi with little time to enjoy the blasts of different sea creature tastes. Delvics voice was heard slightly from behind Kayra and she swiftly got out of her stool, almost forgetting to pay for the food. She looked around and observed where the voice came from, To the Left was a game of strength in which Delvic probably would not be to interested in, The game on the right was a game of magic control with the different elements and lastly right in the middle of the two games was a game -or rather a contest of magic knowledge. Delvic was the center of attention while sitting in a wooden chair next to 2 other mid aged scholars. "LAST QUESTION!" The man running the stand said loudly on a microphone. Delvic smiled as the two beside him seemed to feel uneasy. Kayra Spaced out for a moment and a dark figure caught her eye, the figure was cloaked in a black and all that could be seen under the hood is a shine of sharp white teeth. Kayras attention then focused back on the man speaking. "AND WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!" Kayra looked back to see no one there. Delvic smiled as he was handed an odd Stuffed animal that kayra had never seen before but was sure that Delvic would be happy to let her know what it was and where it originates from.

Azure was not the only one to see the man with the cloak and white teeth. And as a guy poking about in an alley, he fully understood how suspicious that one looked. And Bastion was here to keep an eye on odd activity. He quickly activated his cricket leg ability, leaping over the stalls and into the alley way that he had spotted the cloaked man in. Once there, he turned off his cricket leg spell, activating his dog senses spell, sending out his sensesof smell and hearing. It took him a moment to sort through the dizzying blast of smells and sounds, but after a moment he had the scent he wanted, and he took off after it, grasping his Bansuir tightly in his right hand.

Delvic grinned holding the ugly stuffed animal, almost ecstatic, like a child at Christmas, besides the things dingy appearance. He had recognized it as an artifact of the second era's deposed royal line that had died out by the middle portion of the next era, the stuffed animal had belonged to a young prince, but regardless of its worthlessness to all but the most studied collectors Delvic squeezed it tight, appearing more than ever as a child of 7. Del watched as the larger man jumped over the stalls however, and began to speculate, suddenly noticing the demeanor of the cloaked man slipping away. Delvic smiled and began shuffling through the crowed.

Kayra Followed Delvic and started to go goo-goo eyed over the Light show of a nearby stall, many bright, beautiful lights flickered with a rainbow of color. "STEP RIGHT UP AND BE THE FIRST TO BATTLE AGAINST THE STRONG, THE BRAVE, THEE ONE... THEE ONLY.. BRIGHTON GALE!!" Kayra found it very interesting that the man who was in the small arena was the same man at the sushi bar and became curious to see who would accept the stall managers challenge. many people looked around to see if anyone would go against the strong looking individual. "ANYONE? .. IS ANYONE BRAVE ENOUGH TO GO AGAINST THE RATHER DASHING- BRRRRRIGHTONNNNN GALLLEEEE?!?!?!" The manager challenged again. Delvic smiled and shoved Kayra onto the stage with a push. "WE HAVE A CHALLENGER!!!!" Kayra was very confused as she stood on the stage forcibly by Delvic who was enjoying his new stuffed animal. "I... uh.." Kayra was almost speechless as two women took off her cloak, revealing the beautiful Kayra L Terra who's hair flowed like a midnight river down her curvy body. Brighton Gale took off his shirt that had the fairytail symbol on the back and smiled a bright smile. Kayra's right eye twitched as she stared at the buff mans body and slightly blushed, She then sighed and prepared herself for battle. "LET THE MATCH BEGIN!!!!!" a ding of a bell sounded and the match started. The man charged swiftly at kayra and threw a powerful fist towards her head. Kayra limbo-ed under the fist bending backwards , leaving the tough guys back open wide. Kayra smirked "Amethyst Aura!" Kayra's body glowed with a flexible purple crystal that seemed to increase her speed, she then landed a kick straight to the back of the man's head, knocking him to the arena's floor. as  Brighton's head slammed into the floor the crowd grew speechless and the manager's eyes opened wide. However, Brighton shook it off and got up and the speed as well as punches increased. Kayra and Brighton began to Dance around eachother as they fiercely smashed their fists into eachothers bodies. Kayra smiled as Brighton's punches hit the Aura that defended her and released a final attack. "Amethyst Gauntlet!" Kayra Formed the amethyst around her hand and wrist Then Slammed into the mans face with a burst of Purple energy. Brighton Gale was down for the count and Kayra Was Victorious.

Delvic handed a small pouch a 300 jewel in it to the manager and pulled Kayra away, "You realize that was supposed to be a magic less fight, right" He looked up at her a taunting grin on his face as the crowed booed in the background. "We gotta go anyway" he said and pulled her through the crowed.

As Kayra was dragged through the crowd she realized that it was suppose to be a magic-less battle and her face turned white. Kayra swiftly freed herself of Delvic's grip and ran to get her cloak..

Bastion followed the scent deeper into the alley, stopping as the scent suddenly became very confused and twisted. A sense of unease came over bastion. He narrowed his eyes, loosening his grip on his staff, and relying on his sixth sense, the warrior sense, to guide him. A wise decision it proved to be, as the cloaked man suddenly burst from the shadows behind him, lunging with his hands extended.

Bastion turned, shooting his left hand back to grab one, extended wrist, then turn back and pull, bending a bit as he did. His pull threw off the mans timing just a bit, but just enough for his chest to thud into Bastions shoulder, before Bastion would bend and toss the man over him, and into a wall. "It's not nice to sneak up on people." Bastion said calmly as he straightened.

(This is the only time I shall control this char, I am very uncomfortable controlling other peoplescreations, even with permission, sorry Azure.)

The Figure that had snuck up on bastion vanished into the Darkness and had reappeared in front of him. "Not nice huh? .. speaking of not being nice.. why are youuuu following meeeee" the Black Cloaked Man smiled a sharp smile. He then revealed a silver cane with an 8 ball on top.

Delvic stood at the other end of the ally munching on some cotton candy. He watched the stranger fight against Bassie-chan simply waiting for the right moment to strike, or for Bassie to win. Either way he thought he should wait and see what was going to happen

Bastion eyed the cane and the eight ball. An eight ball, probably someone who relied fairly heavily on chance, since that's what those usually meant. Perhaps a gambler. "You were acting suspicious. In fact, you still are. Who are you?" he asked as he began to slowly circle the man, Bansuir still ready in his hand. He took a moment to notice Delric at the end of the alley but quickly ignored him. He needed to stay focused.

As Kayra was fighting against the crowd for her cloak another battle would soon take place in the ally way...

"Ah, such Rudeness.. apologies, my name is Raymond '8 Ball' . but you can call me Ray. what can i call you masked man?" the Cloaked figure lifted up his cane, making it longer as it touched the ground. "ah. and you over there.. Delvic, I dont want to leave you out of the party that is about to begin." the man pointed over to where Delvic was standing and laughed.

Delvic stood his ground unphased, and looked cooly at "Ray", "You have "balls" I'll admit that much, but I know Bessie-chan and he is enough for you," Delvic then turned and bought a second cotton candy, and continued his passive observation, grinning all the while.

Bastion narrowed his eyes again at the man, a dangerous sign to those who knew him."Leave my guild mates out of this. What do you want here? What purpose could you have for skulking through dark alleys and attacking the curious from behind? And better yet, what guild, if any, are you?"

the Cloaked Man laughed and twirled around on his fancy black shoes as Bastion asked his questions. "T-hahaha! I am just here to enjoy the festivities! ..A guild? T-hehe.. i may or may not have one.. But for now you better hold onto your underwear boys because The Party is just beginning.." The Dark man pulled back his hood revealing fancy looking shades and a tap dance could be heard from him. From the cloak came a top hat that he placed on his head as the 8 Ball Glowed with a dark Aura. "But for now.." The Man smiled, showing his sharp white teeth. "I must bid you a do..." The man hit the ground with his 8 ball cane and disappeared in smoke.


Mean while Kayra ran from the rather angry crowd with her cloak and bag, running passed Delvic who was eating his Treat. "Delvic! helppppp meeee!!?!?! please?" she said as she ran fast by the young looking character. The angry crowd was only 10 feet from capturing her.

Delvic turned and laughed, "Kay-chan, you got them angry, my suggestion... keep running" he laughed loudly, walking over to Bastion all the while, Del whispered to him, "give it about 5 minutes Bassie-kun and then we go save her," he giggled after that.

Bastion ignored the little one, eyeing where the man had been. He sensed trouble. And his nose was good for trouble. "No Delvic. We save her now. Under normal circumstances I would let you have your fun, but we can not take that risk with an unknown factor such as this man. Lead me to her."

Delvics face and shoulders stooped, and he sniffled, "Fine, we'll do it your way Bassie-kun" he pointed and focused and almost scary expression now on his face. "With the flow of the festival the mob will round Willow and then Chestnut, we can intercept there" he said now lightening. He made a motion signaling a piggyback (since he couldn't keep up with Bastion normally).

Kayra Ran through the streets trying to avoid getting hit with random items that flew towards her. "Oh man.. to think that fight was a magic-less fight.. who does a magic-less fight in a magic filled festival anyways?" Kayra thought to herself as a piece of metal hit her in the heel. Kayra went a bit off balance and fell the the ground. the crowd soon had her surrounded and a man came out of the crowd wearing a top hat with an 8-ball cane. "Its been quite sometime amethyst priestess." The dark man smirked as he took off his cloak, revealing fancy looking attire that fit loosely around his body. Kayra looked up at the man and her eyes became wide. "Damn... Ray!!!" Kayra quickly stood up, ready to fight the man they called 8-Ball. "..How is your elder brother? how is Kyan anyways?" The man smirked, showing his Magnificent, Sharp teeth. Kayra stood up with a motionless face and punched at the man. Kayra said nothing as tears fell from her eyes, but the man in the hat continued to speak and dodged all of her attacks with little to no effort. "Looks like you are still not too tough.. not tough enough to save your mother.. and not tough enough to save your brother.. TA-HAHAHAHHAHAH!" Ray Danced around in a tapping fashion and said a few last things before he disappeared. "How about you meet me at 'That' mansion.. where you found your brother?" The man struck his cane to the ground "Until we meet again.." The words echoed through the air as the smoke rose.. and then there was nothing. Nothing but confused people surrounding Kayra that dispersed as soon as the man had left. Kayra put her hood over her head and began to walk away from the Festival as well as the City, Going towards the Corrupt tower where her brother was slain by a dark mage..

Bastion had easily caught up with the crowd, after pickingup delvic, by using his cricket legs ability. And so he had seen the entire exchange between Azure and this mystery eight ball man. Seen, and, thanks to Dog Senses, heard it all, and it had bothered him more than a little. "Another point for good instincts." he said as he hopped down from the roof he had been on, lowering Delvic to the ground before moving quickly to intercept Azure.

He stepped in front of her, using his large frame to block her path as he looked down at her. "I had a feling when I saw that man that there was a bit of darkness about him. Your little exchange with him did much to affirm that belief. Care to enlighten me on whats going on and who he is?"

Kayra Was stopped by Bastion and did not feel like speaking about the situation, however, she put her feelings aside and spoke to Him. "The man they call 8 Ball is a powerful wizard that plays with his victims before killing them." Kayra said as she looked at Bastion. "Years ago my mother was bitten by a Legendary Beast called the Grand Spider, With the Bite comes a poison that either works well with your blood or goes against it.. and in this case the poison went against hers, resulting in a deadly disease that killed her slowly." Kayra looked down at the ground and the wind blew softly through her cloak. "..We looked for a cure.. But we did not find one.. we searched for about a year and weeks before my mothers death a man appeared." she spaced out a little, remembering what had happened. "..The man came to my brother and I and said he knew a cure for the disease. His sharp smile and shades that had covered his eyes made made me never trusted him... my brother on the other hand followed the man and they went on a journey to find the cure." Kayra held back her tears the best she could but a single tear fell down her face. "..My brother never returned.. then my mother was taken from me.. i was left alone in the forest cottage with no family." More tears came down her face as she spoke. "..soon after my mothers death i searched for my brother and found his body in a mansion near the corrupt tower. All i could think was who killed him and why?.. After i found my dead brother 8 ball appeared and danced like he did here. I asked who killed him and why but 8 ball only replied with who killed him.." Kayra began to walk again and hide her face as she wiped away the tears that she shed.

Delvic strode up to Kayra and looked at her troubled expression. "Well then, lets go get him." he said, and turning to Bastion with his savant, and cool glare of focus. "You in Bassie-kun?"
