Personality:
Delvic is majorly tunnel visioned, once he focuses there is nothing else on his mind besides the problem at hand, this assists him in all his areas of study whether its magical seals, complicated puzzles, noticing minute details in the situation, or annihilating enemies in combat. In this state he is a strategist beyond compare.
Outside that focus however he acts exactly like he looks, 7, he is extremely ADHA and has problems with authority he barely pays attention to the guild master, and often does his own thing even on missions. When he is like that there is no thought in his mind of leadership, he simply does what he thinks is best at the moment regardless of consequences.
Beyond this Delvic has a certainty of right and wrong, never giving on the middle ground he knows what is good and what is evil. He bases this belief off of not what the law says but what will help anyone around him. This led him to his practice of the Black Arts attempting to protect others from those who tormented him, and a desire to create his own friends, created due his isolation from the rest of the world.
He more often than not will be found solving complicated puzzles, or reading books, because outside that he cannot easily focus on anything, he is easily confused on more complicated social cues having been treated as a child throughout his entire life up until recently, the world to him is easier seen through a book then trying to piece it together by talking to others.
Having been treated as a child through his whole life Delvic has never developed meaningful relationships outside childlike friendship, thus dating even at his age seems foreign and impossible. He sees himself as almost a chibi, a small character full of life and never being constrained by the realities of the world, he’s good for hugging, but never really is seen doing anything deeper than that.
He has a separation with the world, seeing himself as a kind of co-author inserting characters into the world at whim, he is always excited to introduce a new player into the story, and yet wants to understand the story he’s writing, this belief likely stems from his use of books as an escape from the harshness of reality he face within the “protective” confines of his family and home.
He has a poor relationship with his home having disowned them, having turned 18, he finds his past atrocious and wishes to leave it buried. He struggles in society now because he was shut in due to his stunted growth. He has been treated like a baby forever and wants nothing more than to be treated like an equal, hence his reason for joining a guild and trying to prove his worth through magic.
Delvic is a child at heart with no greater dream then to prove that he has grown up. Like a reverse Peter Pan, all he wants to do is show that he is “Grown Up”.

BOOKS!: Delvic is a adamant historian and enjoys the process of locating secrets and lost treasures more than anything, and books are by far the best starting place on any adventure for history.
Puzzles: Delvic has an exceptional IQ and loves nothing more than magical riddles and puzzles, deciphering runes and breaking seals are some of his favorite hobbies (although he has no magical aptitude towards the latter)
Anything Ancient, or with a Rich History (Including People): As stated earlier Delvic doesn't really talk well with others although he always listens when a new story is being told or an old one that he hasn't heard before.
Dislikes:
The Word "Minuscule": Delvic has come to grips with his lacking demeanor, and more than compensated with his tenacity and talent for magic. Still however the use of that word reminds him of the feelings of his youth when everyone looked down on him in every way, making him quite upset.
Arrogant Bastards: Delvic has been picked on throughout his life and cannot stand people treating others poorly, he is likely to get angry should he feels someone else is being bullied by someone with power.
Stairs: Don't really know why, but Delvic has always had a predisposed hatred for stairs, since he was little he found them cumbersome and annoying and that has not changed.

Motivations:
Knowledge: Delvic is a seeker of secrets and lost things, had Eisenwald not found Lullaby he surly would have gone looking for it. A lover of history he really doesn't care for jewels as long as he can gain something unique or interesting from the adventure.
Curiosity: There is no stronger motivation for Delvic then to satisfy his own curiosity, this may often lead him into reckless danger, but when he's got to know he has GOT TO KNOW!
Loyalty: Delvic is alot of crazy things, but he's is absolutely loyal, once you have become a friend of Delvic's he will watch your back until the day he dies. Though he is spontaneous and fool hardy, most people will know true fear when they face Delvic after targeting his allies.
Fears:
Forgetting: Delvic hates forgetting anything it has developed into an almost full blown phobia, in which he writes down and saves images for easy filing of any pertinent or interesting information he learns, on trips in fact 75% of his luggage resides solely of empty books.
Losing a Friend: Delvic has heard far to many stories where the main character losses someone they care about to achieve there goal and wants to never have to go through that himself. He works extremely hard to never endanger his friends and often fails because they come to rescue him.
Himself: The type of magic that Delvic studies has its risks and although he is unwilling to give it up, he often secludes himself from others for fear of his own growth and development. What he may eventually be capable of.
