Small rays of moonlight made their way through the drapes that softly swung behind an open window and fell upon young man the was kneeled besides a young brunette on a bed. Holding a lifeless hand that laid loosely in his palm, while stroking her hair with his other. Softly whispering to her with words of unbelief. Unable to cope with the loss in front of him.
'Please don't.. don't go.. I..I am lost without you.. please..Cecilia stay with me'
His words were interrupted by a calm and sympathizing voice, one of the doctors that were present stepped forwards.
'My Lord Frederick, I am sorry but there isn't anything that we can do anymore. She.. has passed away'
'No, that can't be...she promised...to be with me.. always!!'
Frederick's soft whispering had made place for an angrier voice, that was almost shouting.
'Mister Frederick please'
'There has to be way! There has to be!'
'I am afraid not sir, no one can't bring the dead'
Another doctor had stepped forwards as well, and placing his hand on Frederick's shoulder.
'I am sorry but your fiancee, has gone to a better place'
Reacting with a painful shout Frederick threw his head into Cecilia's lap and bursted out crying. His tears soaking his face and the collar of his blouse.

The painful memory came back as he stared out of a window from an inn that overlooked the old temple in oak town. Even though those moments still could rip his soul apart he was unable to shed any tears anymore. The years of grief turned him towards the darkness and there he had become a man whose emotions had turned cold. Sadness had made place for an eternal self tormenting pain and the joy of life he once felt had been replaced by the pleasure he had found in darkness.
But be that as it may, there was one thing Lord Frederick never gave up on. The endless struggle to find a way to bring back his former love from the death. And now he was close, recently he had found one out of two keystone that could open a gateway to the realm of the death and after obtaining it his determination grew stronger. Because finally he had held something in his hand that could lead him to the end of his struggles, after all his years of chasing myths and legends he had came upon something real.
After obtaining the first keystone through some cunning and unpleasant hardships which turned into quite something beneficial to his cause, he quickly had located the second keystone he needed. And it was just there across the street in the temple of Oak Town, sitting in plain sight.
