It was a bright sunny morning, like any other morning in the land of Fiore. Everyone was doing there own thing, having fun. Among them was Ikuto and Rei, though, unlike the others that day, they did something that wasn't done in quite a while now. Back in the guild that morning, Ikuto had given a mysterious note to Rei, making sure that it was anonymous and kept that way. The note read:
"Dear Rei,
Please meet me in the East Forest of Magnolia Town, as soon as possible. Many lives are at stake if you don't. That would include the life of someone from your guild, as it seems, Fairy Tail. If you do not want to see any carnage, now would be the best time to make haste.
Sincerely,
_________"
This was not only to assist a newbie in the guild, but to see that newbie's dedication for the guild along with its member. Being in Fairy Tail long enough, Ikuto knew that Fairy Tail was no guild. It was a family, where everyone was considered siblings. As they looked out for each other, assisted each other in any ways possible. This was a test, to see Rei's heart. His love for Fairy Tail, his love for...family. But mainly, Ikuto saw that the last job Rei went on was a simple job, requiring no brawls what-so-ever. Of all the jobs Ikuto have done, it probably was the worst of the worst, for that job contained no action at all! The very thought had annoyed Ikuto, although he didn't announce that to Rei, for the fear of losing a friend was great. So he walked himself towards the East Forest of Magnolia, hoping to surprise Rei when Rei found out Ikuto was there, instead of whatever he would think would be there. Ikuto was also thinking, trying to picture Rei's face at receiving the letter. Mad? Sad? Would he show it to Ebony? Would he...show it to...Ebony...?
"SHIT! I FORGOT ABOUT EBONY! NOO!"
At this point, Ikuto knew it was too late to go back and change directions, sure of it that Rei had already opened the letter.
"What will my excuse be? It was a joke? No way! Ebony would never accept that! Maybe I should say I did it as a way to train Rei? But no! Ebony is simply too...cruel..."
Ikuto sighed, pondering the very thought of him and Ebony. What would she do this time? Would she force him to clean up the guild daily, for a month's time? Maybe she would make him go on jobs with the newbies...of all people. Would she feed him tacos until he was full, to the point where even Ikuto, who ate nearly anything edible, was going to regurgitate? Ikuto's whole mood went 180 degrees in a turn of direction, he fell to the ground, hitting the hard grassy floor with his knees.
"I'm...dead."
