The town filled him with two things, nostalgia, and dread. This was the same town in which he completed one his very first jobs, defeating tons of bandits that were terrorizing his favorite restaurant, if his memory was serving him correctly. Only a single thing remained from so long ago, just a dusty old straw hat that he had received from one of his first jobs with Alye Reyold, back before she was a massive star on the front cover of every Sorcerers Magazine and among the ranks of the Wizard Saints. Now that the annual meeting of the guild masters from all across Fiore was coming up in the near future, Zenshin believed it was a good idea to meet each of the guilds and their respective owners in an attempt to see what kind of people were gathering in that one place. First up on his list was Lamia Scale, the guild that came back from the dead after an incident in Hargeon Town made it uninhabitable for life... killing many of the people who knew him as the savior of the largest restaurant in town.

"This town... so empty from when I was last here. At least people are beginning to come back" he said quietly, but aloud as he walked towards the new Lamia Scale, under the leadership of a "Zuo Cii". He finally made it to the building, just outside the doors, and knocked, hoping someone was around to answer him.

Just moments after Zenshin knocked upon the door of the Lamia Scale guildhall he would hear a certain purple-haired mage moaning about her day. [color:1cd4=9933ff]"Ooooh...that mission took FOREVER! I swear if I ever see a mission with THAT GUY as a client, I'm going to tear it up to spare EVERYONE from wasting their time and effort on him. Stupid man in his stupid mansion with his stupid money. Stupid."

Kara had just returned from what was quite clearly one of the most annoying missions she'd ever done, if not the most annoying mission of all time. She'd been forced to wear probably the most embarrassing maids outfits she'd ever seen and forced to clean the ENTIRE mansion. Her muscles ached and, at the end of it all, the man had refused to pay her because apparently her father owed the man a favour, and so he counted Kara's hard work as the payment for that favour. Needless to say she'd be having words with her father when she returned home.

She was about to walk into the guildhall when she looked up and narrowly missed walking straight into the Sabertooth guildmaster. She took one look at the young man and sighed. Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse... she thought to herself, before forcing a smile and looking back up at Zenshin. He was a few years older than she was, with stunning white hair and...was that a Sabertooth mark? So he was from another guild. "So what brings you to Lamia Scale?" She was blunt and irritable. Of all the days Zenshin could have come to the guildhall he picked probably the worst to have met Kara.
