Personality: Kaz is a narcissist and a sexual predator. While he finds rape uninteresting, he has no problem with coercion or manipulation to get what he wants. This is all ultimately a pastime for him though, as his true obsessions are his sister and the pursuit of perfection.

Despite, or rather because of, his love for his sister Kaz has kept much of the last several years apart from her. For her own protection, though each year his desire to return to her side only grows.

Because of this practice, he considers himself naturally superior to everyone around him. They are tools to use and throw away when he no longer has a use for them. Rather than rely on other people, he prefers to bring beasts under his control. They do not talk back, and do not resist his magic making them the perfect tool.

His disregard for life does not stop at the beasts he controls though, he also will kill others should they cross him. Kaz’s temper is rare, but can immediately flair into lethal levels. Especially if his sister is involved. Using them for experiments is also nothing unusual, as it is often easier to see the result of a spell when it is used on someone else.

This is what led him to join Divine Calamity, as he saw them as a useful shield against the legal guilds. There is no actual loyalty between him and them.

Likes:

• His sister. This is normal for a big brother right? Nothing strange going on here.
  
• A nightly conquer, especially if he manipulates someone into spending time with him that otherwise wouldn’t.
  
• Pain. His own, not others. As his magic can cause him extreme pain, he often feels euphoric while using it.
  

Dislikes:

• Narcissists. Yes, the irony is completely lost on him.
  
• Those that try to control him. Anyone that does will find him acting as a rabid dog straining at its chain.
  
• Children. F ’em, the little puke monsters.
  

Motivations:

• Protecting his sister, especially from other men. Again, totally normal.
  
• His next conquest, as it alleviates the boredom.
  
• The pursuit of becoming perfection, of course. Whether that perfection exists is questionable.

• Hurting his sister. Again again, completely normal.
  
• Permanent death, perhaps what spurred his obsession with magic of the flesh. Temporary death is just funny.
