Special Characteristics: Richard has multiple, visible scares scattered across his body; a result of his constant training. He also has a visible birthmark on his scalp which resulted in some of his bangs turning white.  

Personality: Richard is a free and spirited individual, he is dedicated to training and relies heavily on what he learns. He always takes into account the situations he encounters and uses more logic than brute force. When in small groups, he tends to be quiet and a bit stand-offish, but after a few hours of evaluating his company, he tends to relax and lighten up. Richard is not the leader type and tends to let the more extroverted individuals take the spotlight. It's not that he does not have ambition, he just tends to be more focused on surviving until the next day. Which was instilled into him by his grandfather, an elder wizard who was strict on honing the fundamentals of magic.

Magic for Richard is his connection to the world, he has a strong affinity for wind magic. He, however, had a passion for planting and things of a floral nature and as a result, he developed an oddish type of magic; for him, his magic is all-encompassing of who he is as an individual. His grandfather found the magic to be appealing and told Richard to train hard and always strengthen himself.  Over a twenty-two-year span, it resulted in Richard's development and growth as a wizard. The physical training resulted in multiple broken bones and cuts; the mental training honed his capabilities with his magic and as a result, he can perform impressive feats. The training made Richard a decent wizard, he still has much to learn and is aware that he is not invincible and has limits.

The death of Richard's grandfather was tragic but expected as the years passed. The memories made from childhood to adulthood are beyond profound. They shaped Richard and made him grow and develop into the wildflower he is now. He is simply just a young man who finds virtue in the simple complexities of life.
