All in all, the experience of this visit was more disappointing than anything else for Aristotle. She had her suspicions that her mother would never have changed over the years and it seemed aside from donning an older face and a new hairstyle, she wasn't anything more than the snake she knew her to be. As scaley as a belt or purse made right from the remains of a slain creature, yet arguably less valuable than even the cheap knock off versions of those too. She had let out a bit of a light sigh once they'd gotten around to chatting about the whole experience, chuckling a little at her mentor's failed attempt to schmooze a guard into giving her one of their masks. Shaking her head lightly, a faint shrug of her shoulders just made her picture it a little more and find the imagery a bit funnier to her than she first thought. "If so, I would have said it to be a more worthwhile. I apologize for dragging you along and wasting your time, Mademoiselle. I should have done this by myself."
She had seemed to be a bit less than excited over this whole visit. Perhaps she thought something could have changed given her inability to use magic for so long that maybe she could have thought her way to being unable to do anything else but reflect. However, it instead seemed to show that narcissistic sociopath's only think for themselves and her mother was no exception for that rule at all. Her eyes peered over to her red headed mentor as she had congratulated her on her ability to remain calm and composed, even to simply shut down her attempts to get into her head. Truthfully, Ari wondered if she could have done that on her own at all or not. Maybe just having Shira there gave her that little boost she needed, but for now she would just have to keep pondering on that thought.
What made her raise her brow was the ask of who Jezebel was. Asking if she was just someone from their family, but honestly she couldn't very well see that being the case even if she thought from an outside point. "Truthfully, madam.. I have no real idea. I remember the name brought up as a child once or twice from her mouth, but otherwise I don't recall if she was family or not." Despite her own real curiosity, Aristotle seemed pretty composed and a lack of interest to be frank.
"Then I suppose that is my queue for an introduction." A voice chimed in from the air. A pink cloud of smoke mixed with the darkness of shadows would form a short distance in front of the two as a feminine figure would appear from within it. Her hair seemed to be short and in the style resembling a flame of sort, meanwhile she had two tail like appendages with two medium length blades attached to them. "I am the curator of the gallows, the voice of temptation, Jezebel. A very long time observer of this girls family and very minimally involved for my own sanity." Her eyes flickered from Shira to Ari, almost completely vanishing from sight in a puff of purple smoke and shadows. "See, I am within my own right one of the most influential beings in our realm. Consider it akin to you mortals as having a key that can open most if not all of the doors in this town."
Reappearing behind Aristotle, Jezebel's free arm gently placed around the girls waist while her other curiously twirled a bit of her blonde hair around her finger. "Interesting~ Not a trace of the curse in these strands. Truly, you're much like her. And trust me, that would be a grand compliment if you knew who she was." Quick to her appearance and inspection, Jezebel's eyes darted to Shira and with a large step, would place distance between herself and Ari. "You do care deeply for this child and I respect that. I intrude purely to assess whether she was dying her hair to hide its influence or if she genuinely was worthy of my time and talents." With a light chuckle amidst a pause, she would keep her attention shared between both women without a care for outside influence.
"Assuming you wanted me to purposely drop your name, you're referring to someone in my family who you last dealt with? And for that matter, why now? What exactly can I do for you?" Those chain of questions made her smile a little, looking to Shira and simply giving a "one minute" signal to the blonde. "You know, intruding on others conversations, even one sided variations is very rude, little fox. I have been watching the relationship between you two blossoming for some time and I have to thank you. Your influence and character building has made me see that she is rightfully the one who is deserving of my influence." Seeming a bit puzzled by her phrasing, Jezebel turned back to the summoner and gave an attempt at a curtsy.
"Long ago, your great grandmother was much like you. She'd been fed the same garbage passed amongst that side of your family for generations. Suckering in rich, corrupt people to gain the luxury and ability to grow in the underground for years started fruitful, but that woman... she didn't like the results of her family. They were very neglectful, self obsessed, and in turn, their own daughter took to making friends with the creatures. Her abilities even at a young age were no joke and she did well to make it look like she was JUST above average to avoid suspicion. Her attempts to turn the tide of your families curse was sadly brought to an end by her own husband when he and the rest of your family found out her attempts by a very manipulative son they had. My guess is your mother attempted to go a route in which she would plant a seed of corruption in your father, but when that went awry and she was imprisoned, I.. may have removed that little hint from his mind and kept my eye on my little experiment. Truthfully, your mother is among the worst I have ever been around and seeing them try to build this family empire using us as pawns does not sit well with many of us. Some simply want bloodshed and violence so they will actively obey in return for it."
A smile and a gaze of amusement shined on her face, checking on the reactions of both women while she caught her breath for a moment. "You on the other hand are genuinely a sweet and caring individual. I have hardly seen the big lug take to a human in a protective nature, but courage and bond between summoner and the summoned is key to building stronger ones... Which is why I am here today. After the show I witnessed, I wish to offer my services to you, Aristotle Lambros. I will guide you to your goals above all else, so long as you do not stray and turn against me and the fox." She would hold a hand out, palm up and look the deaf woman right in her eyes. "You may take a moment to discuss or think it over, but please do consider the offer at hand, cherie."
