A shadow loomed upon the sand, moving intently across the beach beside the sound of crashing waves. As per usual the sky had been blotted out by dark brewing clouds. On one hand, one could attribute such things to the natural phenomena that surrounded shadow island, but to some, another explanation could just as easily share the blame. The fleet of hell had made its port on this humble spit of rock, something Mythica thought almost ironic. However much it irritated her to return home though, she knew her personal feelings mattered little in this regard. The Abyssal Fleet and claimed this place of darkness and blood for their own so the girl had no choice but to go along with the captain's plans. Thankfully her connection to this place had yet to be revealed to her fellow guildmates, as did many other things. Truthfully she her fellow wizards would likely approve of Mythica's truer self, though the time wizard learned long ago to place too much trust in appearances. It was safer for everyone if she remained behind the facade of Maven, at least for a little while longer. The last thing she needed was news of her actions leaking back to Mura. She already risked a lot getting involved in the continent's politics, sparking a war between nations. Now that full chaos had been unleashed she could venture to the darker side of society once more and see what kind of people had gathered. She had missed being around such like-minded people, solitude did get boring after a while...

Storm clouds bellowed and the girl trudged on, ignoring the ominous sounds above and the looming eyes from the treeline. As a local Mythica was used to the myriad of creatures that took full advantage of the darkness here, unbothered by their eternal curiosity or ravenous hunger. Most had the instinct to stay away, though that did not prevent the lingering stares as the lone woman continued her trek across the beach... Just a little father.
