Name: Military Magitech: Archivist's Glove
Grade: Mythical
Type: Armor
Proof of Acquisition: Here
Description:
Of all the pieces of equipment that is granted to high ranking officials within both the Church of Bellum and the nation's standing Army, no piece is more coveted than those that are custom made for the individual mage. The Archivist's Glove is one such piece. Originally constructed at the behest of an individual who had recently risen to the status of Vicar, this glove was made with the sole purpose of supplementing the Vicar's existing capabilities. This Vicar was known for his deep familiarity with the inner workings of archive magic, so much so that he could pass it off for other types of magic. As a result, the craftsman behind it granted the item what was supposed to be a gift. A subfolder within the Archive Magic of the glove that simply stored the Data for a staggering variety of weapons of war. Ranging from simple magitech rifles all the way to whole artillery batteries. This glove alone is capable of granting a great deal of advantages. However, it is also capable of granting the user access to all the benefits of Archive Magic, making it quite a powerful artifact. What a shame then, that the courier carrying it mysteriously vanished one day.
The Archivist's Glove is a black and white leather glove that possesses a 'sleeve' that reinforces the wrist with both thick leather and several bands of metal, giving the user a small amount of natural armor. Donning said glove also covers the user's skin in a thin, but durable field of magic which reacts to incoming damage, appearing as a shield of white energy upon points of contact. On the back of this glove is a Lacrima in the shape of a distorted Blue Diamond. Along with this lacrima are several smaller gem-shaped metal studs that rest atop each knuckle of the glove, acting as further protection and reinforcement.
Abilities:
Name: Archive Magic: Firewall
Rank: D Rank
Duration: 3 Posts
Description: Throwing her gloved hand outwards, a series of flat screens appear, each one showing differing readings for seemingly completely random things. These screens are quite durable, allowing Aeryn to protect herself quite quickly.
Name: Archive of War: The Medic
Rank: D Rank (Reduced from C Rank)
Duration: 3 Posts
Description: When either herself or an ally has sustained wounds, Aeryn may hold her hand up, Lacrima facing towards her intended target. This causes a progress bar to appear above their head, accompanied by an icon of bandages being wrapped around a cartoon heart. Once this bar is filled the target flashes with a neon green light, having had several of their wounds healed.
Name: Archive of War: Suppressing Fire
Rank: D Rank (Reduced from B Rank)
Duration: 3 Posts
Description: Clenching her gloved hand into a fist, Aeryn causes multiple Archive Screens to appear around her in a circular formation before they disperse into a seemingly random configuration. Each screen has multiple reticles roaming across them. After a few moments, each screen will lock onto their target. These screens can lock onto multiple targets, or the same target multiple times. At Aeryn's current level of skill, she may only spawn three screens. Once these screens have locked onto their target they vanish as a burst of rapid gunfire echoes, firing off a volley of magical bullets at its target. While it spawns multiple bullets, these bullets cannot change direction, and may only strike their chosen target. Collision with an unexpected source causes the bullets to dissipate.
Name: Archive of War: Artillery Squad
Rank: D Rank (Reduced from A Rank)
Duration: 3 Posts
Description: Dragging a finger in the air from one point to another in a diagonal line, Aeryn brings up a screen showing a map of the current location with a grid overlaid on it. Tapping the corresponding squares on said grid, she marks a series of places throughout the area. This spawns a series of magic circles on the ground, which begin to rapidly increase in brightness and intensity as the sound of something whistling through the air becomes louder and louder until a series of mortar shells crash into every circle simultaneously, detonating in a massive scene of carnage.
Name: Archive of War: Strafing Run
Rank: D Rank (Reduced from S)
Duration: 3 Posts
Description: Pinching and expanding two fingers, Aeryn spawns a screen that has a real time map of the immediate area, with each target she is aware of appearing as a dot. Dragging her finger in a line to add in as many dots as possible, a massive magic circle appears in the sky, bringing forth an automated aircraft from the glove's Archive Space. The aircraft soars over the battlefield, firing at each target with high caliber weaponry. This aircraft can only hit a number of targets equal to the duration of this spell.
Name: Archive of War: Intensive Training Update
Rank: D Rank (Reduced from H)
Duration: 3 Posts
Description: Bringing two of her gloved fingers up to the side of her head, Aeryn uses the glove's Archive magic to 'connect' to her allies within the area. Each of these allies has a download bar appear over their heads. These bars fill rapidly, granting every ally she can connect to a temporary Movement Speed boost.
