Description:
This is the first of the three magic systems in Nikola Eisenstein’s repertoire and this one is a bipartite magic system consisting of two disparate elements. One of these components has been christened by Nikola as “Ophiomancy Arts” and this one is of the Bond Magic type. The inspiration for its creation came to Nikola from the overwhelming interest in both the theoretical and the practical aspects of herpetology which was sparked in him by his rather serendipitous encounter with and eventual choice to take in and care for his albino Nāgini companion-type combat pet (who he has since rechristened as “Hygīa Curie”) because of which she is inextricably linked to Nikola henceforth via the eternally binding magical pact that exists between them due to the creation and implementation of this Bond Magic that they share with each other henceforth.
As the type and perks of this component of this first magic suggests, it is one that can be used freely by both Nikola and Hygīa, both individually and even simultaneously. Furthermore, as the name of this component suggests, it is one that is comprised of those spells that allow for the generation and manipulation of living, breathing, and even sentient snake-like constructs as well as those that replicate snake-associated abilities and even aspects of their anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry for various purposes, regardless of whether or not the situation happens to be a combative one. The spells constituting this part of this first magic are multifarious in nature and range from purely offensive ones to debilitating and disruptive ones to defensive ones and even to those that focus on healing and controlling targets as per the needs of the situation.
In contrast, the other element is one that has been named as “Medicosurgical Skills” and unlike the first component of this first magic system, this second element is classified as a Lost Magic type. The knowledge and skills required to use it have both been inherited by Nikola from his parents and other familial ancestors. Later, he made these truly his own by expanding and improving upon the design of the source material’s contents. Unlike the first component of this first magic system, however, the spells and so on that are associated with this secondary component can only be used by Nikola and not by Hygīa due to their uniquely esoteric nature. Furthermore, as the name of this component suggests, it is one that is comprised of spells that allow for the manifestation of various medical and surgical procedures, tools, as well as substances and so on with some even allowing control and manifestation of generic scientific and body modification-type phenomena too.
However, these phenomena, tools, substances and the like are always manifested in a more superhuman and preternatural form as opposed to their mundane counterparts. Beyond that, like their counterparts in the first component of this first magic system, the spells constituting this second part of this first magic are also multifarious in nature as well and range from healing ones to curative and resistance boosting ones to purely offensive ones to debilitating as well as disruptive ones to defensive ones and even to those that focus on controlling targets as per the needs of the situation. Lastly, both components of this first magic system contain spells that serve to buff Nikola, Hygīa, and any allies if present.

Description:
Nikola and/or Hygīa charge their body with mana throughout their entirety and then use it to rapidly make their skin highly durable and to imbue it with healing qualities. Then, they use it to craft a makeshift healing barrier around their body which is identical to their real skin. Upon successful application, this healing barrier has 40 HP and can heal them for 50 HP while they remain inside it. At the end of this spell’s duration or when it gets destroyed/dispelled for any reason, they shed it just like a reptile would its old skin during its molting process, these being active for the next 6 posts (since this signature spell is current at B-rank). However, both Nikola and/or Hygīa can also use this spell outside of combat for more utilitarian purposes as well.

This unique magic weapon has been specially crafted by Nikola after he was inspired to create the Bond Magic system that he shares with his associated Bond Magic companion (i.e., “Hygīa Curie”) with the idea of this weapon being a physical anchor and symbol of the eternal Bond Magic pact that now exists between the two of them. This weapon is a seemingly otherworldly staff, specifically being a modified caduceus the body of which is composed of seven entwined serpents with each being made of solid gold of the highest quality and the head of which consists of each of the seven squirming serpents’ heads and mouths, the latter of which holds a jewel of a different color, for seven jewels total. Aside from this, the body of this special staff possesses a grip that exhibits a transparent quality akin to a perfect crystal and emits a seemingly ethereal, bluish-white light, but in contrast, if it happens to be touched by anyone who is not Nikola, it spews a macabre, crimson red aura instead. However, Nikola can also use this special magic weapon outside of combat for more utilitarian purposes as well.

This specimen is a collective that takes the form of a snake swarm made up of 225 units total and this collective is one of many such research specimens each of which is held, maintained, and experimented on within Nikola's vast, private menagerie which he has specially designed for this very purpose. Like many of the other specimens that Nikola tends to call forth to support him in various roles while out in the field, this snake swarm and each unit comprising it has also been marked with a partner summoning sigil which is linked to the master summoning sigil that he has engraved onto his tongue. Once summoned, this snake swarm allows Nikola to overwhelm his enemies with its sheer numbers and by doing so, lets him maneuver them into getting distracted by fighting a battle of attrition whereby he can cut their combat efficiency down greatly and thus, he can defeat them more quickly. However, Nikola can also use this spell/ability outside of combat for more utilitarian purposes as well.
Note 1: This snake swarm summon will only be forced out of existence once its max duration is reached and/or every one of the 225 units comprising it is defeated completely by any means.
