Eden was second born to a large family of 7, along with her twin, Ilya. The two of them were inseparable from birth, going everywhere and doing everything together. They lived a very humble, quiet life at the start. Their parents, though doting and loving, were ultimately hopeless when it came to being wizards. With their lack of skill, they found it hard to provide for their large family, which left them with very little. After their older brother, Bechor disappeared without a trace, it was left to the twins to find a way to provide for the rest of their family. Being quite young and inexperienced with their magic, they turned to seedier jobs to acquire the money they needed to keep food on the table.

Out of the twins, Eden was always the more reserved girl. She lived quietly and contentedly in her twin sister’s shadow, envying her strength. Though she may seem meek, she is also very intelligent, and tends to be the more rational and sensitive of the girls. Quick witted as she is, Eden has always provided more of the supportive role to Ilya, both in life and in combat. However, her take-over magic, once used, turns her into another person entirely. Still providing a more supportive role in combat, the once meek and quiet girl becomes much more sinister and erratic.
