• Slime!
  
  Nuruli's body, unlike humans, is composed primarily out of slime for rather obvious reasons. This filters out any harmful substances that may come to be introduced into her body. Inside of her is a dark colored malleable sphere shaped core hidden within their gelatinous bodies known as a "slime core". This is an extremely sensitive organ of the slime and even touching it causes her to struggle to keep solid. As long as this core is intact she can (with varying amounts of time) recover from any injury as it absorbs moisture and other material to reform the rest of its body.
  
  However, if the core is somehow removed then the rest of Nuruli's body will rapidly collapse. Alone, the core itself is essentially helpless. She usually keeps this camouflaged within her body and is difficult to see without removing a lot of the slime's mass first.
  
  As a slime, Nuruli possesses incredibly sticky skin due to the membrane holding her liquid body. This makes it near impossible to wear most clothing as it would either be ruined by the slime or digested entirely. This skin can melt if exposed to outside water, like rain. On the other hand too much dryness will shrink them down and starve them of moisture. Nuruli's semi-liquid body is also vulnerable to freezing temperatures, as becoming too cold will render her slime frozen to the core.

Personality:

All slimes, regardless of age or personality, are typically very simple minded creatures. Many researchers have studied many types and species of slime and found that a majority will only ever mature to a more childish mindset with very few exceptions due to mass overhunting and a slime's expected life cycle with the introduction of them as a pest. This does extend to Nuruli as well, the creature possessing a somewhat dull and underdeveloped mind at times. She is generally a very happy and laidback individual, always ready to please and cheer up anybody that might be having a bad day. Even the crew aboard the ship have a hard time frowning when the pet is out and bouncing around for them. A pure soul in every regard!

That being said, her mental drawbacks are not one to be ignored. She acts more on decisions based around emotions than logic, even at the most dire of situations. Her intelligence is fairly high for a slime, although is evident in her decision making. She tends to favor results and decisions during assignments and lifestyles that result in her getting to have personal enjoyment and fun more than ones that would be more beneficial in the future. When the slime does not get her way, she reverts into a more childish response by either pouting, throwing a fit or lashing out at whoever might be prevent her from getting what she wants. Nuruli's naïve experience with the world leaves the girl with a vulnerable spot where any outside forces could easily manipulate her into doing something she normally may not do.

She reacts well to physical affection and tends to overdue herself when forgetting that her slime can get a bit too sticky at times when she's not minding her control over it. Although what she will react poorly too is digging too hard into her body, which is treated as Nuruli thinking somebody is attacking her.
