To Younger Mages

Jade is a strong-willed woman who knows what she wants. She has the benefit of experience when compared to younger mages who may be more powerful than her. Her days of drinking too much and being too hungover to go to her job the next day are over. Instead, she's a responsible woman who knows where to find the local doctor, has a reasonable savings, and doesn't cause collateral damage when she works. Some consider her to be a big-sister type, and she has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to things like cleaning stains, filing taxes, and other adult concerns. The type of person who can crochet a blanket and bake pies in addition to use magic. If it has to do with common sense rather than magic, Jade is probably the person to ask.

Probably the person who is most likely to be called 'mom' by younger members either by honest accident or as a method of teasing her.

To Strangers

Jade has a good intuition when it comes to people, and doesn't well tolerate people giving her the run-around or otherwise attempting to manipulate her. Scammers would call her a 'bad mark' because she keep her head on a swivel at all times. While she isn't old, she's been around enough to know the usual scams, and isn't likely to fall for them. Some say she has a very intense gaze, like she can look right through a person. Generally, she is polite and civil. It's rare for her to lose her temper. But, once The Monster has been let loose, it's hard to rein back in. She has a habit of clicking her tongue when she's annoyed.

She is definitely the kind of person who gives two warnings before she acts out or becomes aggressive.

On the Job

A cautious person, Jade prefers to work on jobs with someone else as opposed to alone. She is well aware of the weaknesses of her own magic, and likes to stay as a rearguard. Her magic is well-balanced between support, offense, and utility. As expected of a mature, thoughtful lady. Jade likes to do her research before any job if she has the ability to, and she hates 'going in blind' to any type of mission. Usually, she is able to remain calm due to the amount of preparation she does before hand. If she has to pick between her life and an enemy's, of course she will pick her own. But, she doesn't like the idea of taking lives if she can help it. At the same time, she values her own life. Diplomacy is always favored over violence. One could say that her M.O is as follows. Violence is the choice only if Diplomacy fails, Diplomacy should be used only if Intel and preparation failed.

To Senior Mages/Guildmasters

Jade likes organization. She has a paper planner that she uses to keep track of everything: her missions, maps, grocery lists, and her budget. For some Guildmasters, she would be the ideal: a lady who doesn't cause wanton destruction, and always turns her reports in on time. On the downside, she can seem reluctant to take risks.

To Comrades

Jade is a very direct woman. If she wants something or has a question, she will just ask directly. Some people can find her too intense--especially those who are used to cultures where one has to read the situation. In some ways, she can also be high-maintenance. She hates camping out for more than a few days, and would always prefer to stay in a nice hotel.
