Since the beginning of Phoebe's Origin story, she has trained tirelessly to become the person she is today. She was a private contractor before becoming a guild mage, doing endless menial jobs for less important valuable items, or people that needed to be taken out. Both of which, didn't require much physical work to deal with. Although she didn't work as tirelessly as she currently does, she still felt the need to train to her fullest extent in order to prepare for the road ahead of her. Your strength isn't just determined by your blood right, but the blood that you put into enhancing it. You have to make connections, create new strategies, as well as having as many tools up your sleeve as possible. These things, are exactly what she did for herself.
When Phoebe had found her gun Queenie, she decided to take on a title of its contractor, hence the "Queen's contractor." As any contractor would, she used every resource she had at hand to make her life easier. She even exploited these things in order to gain even more connections and knowledge. Over time, she would eventually have a stable source of help. If she ever had trouble in an unfamiliar land, she would always be able to outsource her past connections in order to find someone that could guide her through. If there were any unfamiliar creatures listed in a job, she would take to the library to do as much research as possible one that creature. It was through her willingness to learn and grow that helped put her above other mages at her level. Although she still has her faults, her traits are worthy of praise.
Unique Abilities:
Certified Hunter
Phoebe's past jobs has allowed her to create connections with those that she trusts. People that share her same values, and trust her own work. In these people, she's able to find more compensation in her jobs, allowing her to gain 100% more jewels at the completion of quests.
Queen's Gambit
In order to best experienced targets, a mage needs to enlist strategic tactics. It's important that no matter the task, you yourself are just as protected as all the people and objects you seek to protect. Through this need, Phoebe has unleashed a new potential for herself. With this ability, Phoebe is able to continue being unsensed by magic sensory, even after she casts a spell. Though, once she is hit by an enemy, her ability to be sensed becomes clear. In order to supplement this drastic change, the starting points of each of her spells can be sensed by sensory magic, and a line can be traced from where the spell impacted to where the spell started. Yet, this doesn't exactly make her a sitting duck. Once per round, when she casts an offensive spell at an enemy, she also has the ability to teleport to an area within max burst range, leveling up with Phoebe until S rank. If an enemy gets within 30 meters of Phoebe, her ability to teleport ceases to take effect.
Mow 'Em Down
Sometimes your enemies will not be solo. They will have lackeys, friends, etc. That's why it's important for a contractor to have skills that can take down numerous enemies at once. Once per round, Phoebe can enchant an offensive homing spell with a new effect entitled ricochet, by sacrificing mana equal to 25% of the spell she uses. This spell then gains the ability to bounce off of the original target to enemies within burst range, traveling at the same speed it took to get to the original enemy. The enemies this spell can be ricocheted to starts at 1 for a D rank spell, increasing by 1 for each rank up to S (Advanced spells have 1 extra ricochet above their predecessor). These ricochets deal 25% of the damage from the original shot, without applying the secondary effects of the spell like buffs/debuffs. If an enemy has been hit by a ricochet once, spells containing multiple projectiles can't hit that enemy too. This means that multi-target spells are able to ricochet, but each projectile is not aloud to bounce off and hit all enemies multiple times in the same round.
Vital Strike
It takes extensive knowledge to understand what will hurt your enemies the most, and Phoebe has done so out of spite. Her inner rage has allowed her to exert that anger into finding ways to make other creatures hurt as much as she does. By understanding these vital points, she has created a newly modified form of penetration spells. With this ability, penetration spells have the ability to pass through anti penetration shields. However, rather than dealing the full damage of the spell, the projectile loses 50% of power on contact with it. In addition to this, she also gains a buff to her regular projectiles from queenie as well. Anytime Phoebe gains a buff to her strength, that increase also applies to her bullet's damage at a 50% rate (a 50% strength buff will increase her weapon's damage by only 25%).
Jack of All Trades
You can never let your guard down when doing the work of a guild mage. You have to be prepared for any situation. Although Phoebe is best at range, she has built up her ability to get through any close range battle. Through this ability, she has a passive max percent buff based on Phoebe's rank (up to S) to strength and health
