Name: Tim T. Timson XLII
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Birthday: the first day of the year (real birth date is x866-06-06)
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Special Characteristics: Because of Tim’s lineage, at night, his skin becomes inklike (or 'night-like') where some of his skin becomes pitch black in select places which constantly changes. Making him look like a humanoid lava-lamp.
Tim T. Timson the 41st was a man littered with mystery. One of the few things people knew about the man, however, was he lost his wife trying to deliver their child. Since then, there was a shift in attitude to the once easygoing man. The Timson family was already a powerhouse in the investment management circle within the Neutral Ground’s megacorporation. Mr. Timson spent the next decade bumping his wealth enough for him to afford making an experimental non-magic portal device. This project, combined with his knowledge of the supernatural was all in service to his plan on reviving his wife. He used his lineage as a progeny of Nyx and contacted the primordial God Erebus to assist him. He connected his personal office into an ancient temple where he would do the deed. Unbeknownst to him his son had walked in the middle of the revival process and, in a panic, had accidentally stopped the ritual.
The night where Tim T. Timson the 42nd found out about his father’s plans to revive his mother was an unforgettable night for the young boy. In that single night he found out: his father was a man who damned his soul to a god, his mother who died was revived into a walking corpse by his father using the god’s powers and, in the series of unfortunate events following the reveal, Tim’s family curse had awakened within him. When the family guards and servants had opened to Mr. Timson’s office, they were greeted to Tim in his full curse in a form of a red-eyed inklike monster.
That same night Tim lost both his parents and had been driven out of his own home.
The latter part of Tim’s childhood, in contrast to his previous life of luxury, had been years of jumping from one workhouse to another in an attempt of keeping himself fed. He would jump to another workhouse after they would eventually find out of his curse. Tim found solace in work, any work. Keeping himself busy from thinking about his past was a small victory to the young boy.
Later in his teens, Tim found work for Edna Faulkner-Rollins, a merchant who owned ships and warehouses which supplied spices for Hargeon and its neighboring towns. Tim became a dock worker for the Rollins & Schwartz Company where all employees with magical aptitude had been subjected to a mandatory lacrima infusion program. The process was part of Dr. Arthur C. Schwartz, the company's co-founder's personal research. The program's end-goal was to artificially create workers with magical capabilities to improve work efficiency. Eventually, Tim worked his way up to making deliveries for the company. His latest work had had a regular route where he would deliver spices to the local market and restaurants all the while improving the magic provided by the company. Aside from being an employee to the company, Tim found himself a mentor in Dr. Schwartz. The man, after learning of Tim’s curse, had taught him how to control and keep it at bay. Tim also learned about his lineage and the extent it ran through his family and many others. It became a hidden obsession for the young man to find a way to get rid of his lineage.
After years of being in service to the company, one night after a few bottles Tim was told to by his senior co-workers to go be a mage so the young man could ‘live his life’ and not get bogged down into dead-ending menial work like the rest of them. One saying, “Ye have a decade, at most, to live yer life before settling in! The rest of us here? We're too old to get out of this hole we dug ourselves, but you have a shot.” And another saying, “You’ve got guts, you know? Whipping those port-posers a new one in the nightly cages (Hargeon’s fight clubs, mostly participated by port laborers). Mages won’t be any different!” After a few good days of pondering his co-worker's advice and Edna overhearing their conversation, sending guild applications on his behalf, Tim finally decided to work under a mage’s guild.

General Appearance
Height: 183cm (6’)
Weight: 91kg
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
Skin Tone: Tanned (daytime); Night-like/Laval Lamp-like (Evening)
Tim's sturdy build (from his time hauling cargo in ports and, later, in his deliveries) emphasized his already rough visage, even more so added with his unkept perm. His nightly fights rewarded his face with scars; one on his upper lip and more than a few on his knuckles.
His outfit was issued by the merchant who hired him which overtime became well-worn to the point the colors became slightly faded. Said outfit had a faded jacket, thick faded jeans and a pair of steel-toed shoes. In the heat, the jacket would give way to the dirty sleeved shirt underneath. When working on colder nights, thick scarves would drape over the jacket-and-jeans ensemble along with a pair of rough fingerless gloves and his flat cap. It was hardly the outfit for an up-and-coming mage, but Tim couldn't afford to look the part.
