Description:
Being a play on bullet hell, candy land hell is an overly long reference to this. Basically, Phoebe's magic has always revolved around candy. It was edible, and all the kids monopolized on it. When she was younger, she expected to have a family with kids, allowing them the treat of having her sweets whenever they wanted. Of course, that changed once the curse to her parents happened. After that event, she needed to find a way to make her magic hurt. She needed to show that her magic wasn't just another cute, useless power people could laugh at. Candy in itself wasn't something that could be easily used to hurt others. However, with a gun, the exertion of these candies could turn into something deadly. So, whenever she found her gun Queenie, she understood what she could do.
With this magic, Phoebe has adapted her candies to slide through the barrel of the gun with ease, being used as many different types of ammunition you wouldn't expect. Sure, bullets were nice and all, but the variety of sweets were endless. She could use licorice as harpoons, create explosives out of butterscotch that can be shot from a distance, and more. She had the ability to adapt to whatever situation came over her, except for in melee combat. Of course, she's able to swing around her gun if it came down to it, but she has almost zero chance versus a person that uses close combat exclusively. At most, she can mitigate it.
Unique Abilities:
Eye Candy
The scope on Phoebe's weapon has become enhanced through her magic. Whenever she peers through it, any enemy that can be seen through it is revealed despite magic that would otherwise conceal them (Unless this ability/magic is ranked above the rank of this ability). Additionally, her spells have an increased range equal to the max passive buff allowed for the ability's rank(up to S).
Sugarcoated (Unlocked at B rank)
Phoebe's bullets are all layered with a thin sugary coating. By hitting an enemy with one of these bullets, the coating will spread over the wound. The sugar then starts to corrode the wound, draining the enemy by 5% of their mp at the end of their next post. In order to refresh this drain, Phoebe needs to hit the opponent with one of her bullet shots again.
Burst Bubble (Unlocked at S rank)
Whenever Phoebe has lost a net total of 25% of her health, she activates this ability. When this happens, pink gum surrounds her in the shape of a bubble. It acts as a shield (2x S rank damage), allowing her to shoot spells/bullets inside of it, but blocking attacks from the outside. The gum then drips down onto her wounds, closing them up and healing her for S rank healing, popping after 3 rounds.
