Outside of Battle:
Outside of battle Ryo is a very reserved person to the general public, but to friends and allies he is quite open, honest, and forthcoming. He doesn’t believe in mincing words, or wasting time trying to be someone you’re not. He is always honest to himself, and to those around him. He doesn’t censor what comes out of his mouth as he doesn’t believe he has to. If he is going to say it he has thought about it long enough to know all the outcomes of what he has said. He treats his close friends like his family and loves them dearly. He is fiercely loyal and he would rather end his own life than let someone else suffer for his sake. He will always help friends in need, and will always be there when people need him. He does this not because he has to, but because he feels he needs to, and he should. Ryo tries to keep a positive outlook on life, and can often be found smiling and laughing or just having a good time. He likes to play games with his friends, or games of chance in general. He loves to read and write using his creative, and very intelligent mind in the light it was meant to be used in. Ryo doesn’t much care for the crowded feelings of towns or the like he’d much rather be alone or with his small circle of trusted friends than in a large gathering of people.
Inside of Battle:
When Ryo is in the heat of the battlefield his whole personality seems to change. He is no longer happy go lucky and no longer smiles. His face is stone and unreadable using his best poker face to conceal his movements. His mind is always thinking like a giant chess game where the win or loss is life and death (Seeing as it is). The amount of pressure on him means nothing as he is in the heat of battle, he is not easy to catch off guard as he is always on alert when he feels the call of battle. Not a step is taken without him thinking it over and this makes him a very talented fighter. He won’t ever be the first one to strike and he will make sure that he avoids the first attack no matter what it costs him, just so he can give himself a higher chance of landing his first strike. He detests long drawn out battles, and will do whatever it takes to end a battle as fast as he possibly can. He keeps his head in the game at all times, but he can be easily exhausted. If he is fighting in a group however he can’t help but worry about his teammate, or mates. He will constantly be looking over to see how they are doing no matter what he might actually be doing himself. If he sees his teammates in danger he will throw himself in the path of the enemies attack and take it on himself.

-Spending time with his friends; they can do whatever so long as he is with them he is happy
-Reading books; any kind of books and all kinds of books.
-Gambling; Ryo has a knack for games of chance and he loves them will all his heart he won’t pass up the chance to play one.

He keeps his face well shaven and without hair as he doesn’t like it at all. His torso is well toned, but not obnoxiously so. His hands are normal sized, but he has long spider fingers from the years of dealing and playing with cards. His hair is slicked back in either spikes or just straight slicked back as he doesn’t like his hair to be out of handle. His hair never reaches past his ears, or gets in the way of his sight at all. Ryo's body is now very pale in color due to his change. He also now has two elongated canines in his mouth

For his typical appearance Ryo wears a broad brimmed hat, on the right side of it stuck inside of the hat band are two jokers one black one red. For a top he wears a crimson colored button up shirt under a black suit vest. Over all of that he wears a long black cloth duster that reaches over his shoes. His pants are actually black jeans, and in his belt loops he wears a blood red belt with a belt buckle that is made of cards in a half hand hold. On his belt he wears the two deck boxes that contain his two different magic card decks he also holds two other deck boxes one containing tarot cards, the other containing simple playing cars. Finally he wears brown cowboy boots the left one has the spade, and clubs symbol on the outside, and the right one has the hearts, and diamonds symbol up the outside. They also have spurs that are actually cards for the prongs.
