Magic
Magic Name: Aperture Magic
Magic Type: Holder (Solitary)Heirloom Jade Ring
Description: This magic allows the user to open rifts in space that leads to different worlds and pull energy from said worlds using an object that acts as the focus for the ‘portal’ spells. Portals to dangerous locations like the ‘world of fire’ can only be opened for short periods of time, while portals to ‘world of life’ can be held open for up to a few minutes.
The user can use the energy from the open portals in order to craft different spells depending on the portal opened. The portals remain in place, but their effects can follow their intended target(s).
Unique Abilities:
Spells:
Name: Portal Step (Same Planet)
Rank: D+
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Burst
Damage: N/A
Range: 25 Meters
Speed: 25 Meters per second
Duration: Instant
Downside:
Description: By focusing his/her energy into his/her Holder item he user is able to create a human sized portal that he/she can use to travel from one location to another. The user picks a spot where the ‘entrance/exit’ point of the portal will appear within range, and creates a link between the two places in space. Because this portal is hard to form due to the short distance the user is the only one able to travel through it before it closes behind him/her.
Name: Portal Shield (Force Planet)
Rank: D
Category: Defensive
Type: Single Target
Durability: 120 HP
Range: 60 meters
Speed: 60 meters per second
Duration: 3 posts
Downside: N/A
Description: By focusing his/her energy into his/her Holder item the user can open up a portal to a planet whose primary energy is ‘force’. The user can shape the said energy into a field that surrounds a chosen target. This field of force can follow the target and provide a protective barrier until the portal closes, or the ‘shield’ runs out of energy. Magic and attacks can’t pass through the shield, but any spells that can activate away from the caster (like portals or summoned creatures) still work. Since it’s made of pure force the shield tends to be invisible, but it lights up whenever it absorbs an attack.
Name: Fireball Portal (Fire Planet)
Rank: D
Category: Offensive
Type: Single Target
Damage: 40
Range: 60 meters
Speed: 60 meters per second
Duration: Instant
Downside:
Description: By focusing his/her energy into his/her Holder item the user opens up a portal that leads to a planet of eternal flames (or a star, it’s never been verified). The energy produced is powerful enough to overwhelm the portal, but enough gets through for the user to create a fireball. This ball of flames shoots straight from whichever direction the portal is facing, and travels until it hits something or the energy is expended. Almost as soon as the portal opens it disappears.
Name: Restoration Portal (Positive Energy Planet)
Rank: D
Category: Supportive
Type: Single Target
Healing: 100 over 3 posts
Range: 60 meters
Speed: 60 meters per second
Duration: 3 posts
Downside:
Description: By focusing his/her energy into his/her Holder item the user opens up a portal that leads to a planet full of positive energy. The portal is linked to a desired target, and allows a steady stream of healing energy to surround the target and mend wounds. The stream of energy follows the target until the portal closes; either through the duration of the portal expiring, or the portal becoming too saturated with positive energy to remain open.

Unique Abilities:
- D-Rank Ability: Dual Portal- Any spell portal that the user knows can be cast twice simultaneously. These spells are of the user/s rank or less (up to S-Rank), and they can’t be cast at the same target. The user has to pay the full amount of both spells being cast. Only 1 spell can be dual cast per post, and both spell duration must end before the spell can be cast again.
- B-Rank Ability: Triple Portal- Up to three portal spells can be cast at simultaneously time if they are all to the same location (planet) up to the user's rank (up to S-Rank). This is not to be confused with the same spell; just spells from the same planet indicated by the () at the end of the spells. Each can be cast at the same target. The user must pay the full cost of all three spells. Can not be used with Dual Portal.
- S-Rank Ability: Multiple Portal- Can cast up to four portal spells even if they are from different planets as indicated by the () next to each spell up to the user's rank (up to S-Rank). Can be cast at the same target. The caster has to spend the full amount of magic for each spell. Can be used with Dual Portal, but can only cast 2 of the same spell simultaneously, and both spells count towards the 4 spell limit. Follows the rules of Dual Portal.
