Yurik has been chopping down trees all his life, as a young child, he had been given a very standard Axe from his late mentor. Together with his mentor, he would learn how to chop down trees using a plethora of techniques. Yurik absorbed everything taught to him about chopping down trees like osmosis. By the time he was 11, he had been lifting these fallen trees from zone to zone as a means of strengthening one's body and mind. This was a necessary step to being able to continue daily life.

Slowly, Yurik compounded the knowledge that his mentor put onto him like layers of steel pressed finely. As his mentor died he would pass on more than just his life as Yurik found it necessary to continue the dream of building an island entirely out of wood his mentor held dear. He did not know how many trees he would have to chop as well as carry to achieve it, but the trustful axe that he had kept up since a child, would supply him with the means to complete this plan.

With a clear goal and a sturdy axe, it was time for chopping to get done. Every day he chops a few down and continues towards his long-term goal. This woodsman has up till now solely lived to chop trees and live a simple life within simple means.

Every now and then Yurik will meet a new person in the forest and will offer them a glass of mead, if refused, this will lower Yurik’s impression of that said stranger.

He has lived so simply that he has little to no experience in things other than his daily routine and will be confused with things that are not easily explained such as things that are not found within his circle of influence, ie nearby towns. Don't worry mods, he has common sense and isn't like ”OoOh wHaT's tHiS bendy thingy” when looking at something like a rope.

Likes:

• Mead - Big fan of drinking casually while taking a break, never during work.
  
• Chopping trees - It's a wonderful everyday activity for a guy living in a forest, one that relieves stress and builds strength.
  
• Living simply towards a goal - The stable and earnest acclimation to achieve a goal fills Yurik with great vigor.
  
  Dislikes:
  
• Fights - As someone who hasn't fought another human, he is reluctant to start.
  
• Poor tools - Keeping one's tools is an essential part of your work and is disrespectful to those in its craft if unmaintained.
