There are legends that speak about a great sea monster that sleeps on top a massive gate deep in the oceans. There are many stories that speak of great treasure, others say it is a gateway to another world. Whatever the case maybe the Fleet wants to claim it. There is information of a recent break through, not to long ago a scientists and mages have been alerted to a huge tectonic shift deep in the sea. In order to assess the scale of this tectonic shift the researchers had performed an echo location scan… however to their surprise, they had found signs unnatural structures that were not present before. Teams of deep sea divers and submarines have been sent to research the structures….
According to our informant, the structures was the ruins of an underwater city. A piece of a large stone tablet was discovered deep in the underwater ruins, this stone tablet contains information and possibly the coordinates of the legendary gate. However, we lost contact with our informant… in fact, all communications with the scientists and mages involved on site of the ruins have ceased. We believe they uncovered more than just ruins… find the tablet, bring it back. Eliminate whatever creatures were awoken in the ruins, eliminate any survivors.
