Description:
Like a moth drawn to a flame, so are these eagles drawn towards phoenixes, and their ashes in particular. Although avians, Dust Eagles do not lay eggs and instead leave their offspring in the ashes of a perished phoenix, where the chick will feed off its ashes and essence until it's old enough to leave its 'nest'. Due to their peculiar and almost parasitic lifestyle, Dust Eagles are just barely sighted, and fairly little remains known about these strange predatory birds. They mostly reside near volcanoes when not breeding, and can be seen stalking the early aftermath of great forest fires to feed and heal. Dust Eagles lack color, resembling the very color of smoldering ashes and possessing piercing white eyes, while their form mimics that of a phoenix, albeit switching slenderness for a more powerful physique. Their trust is hard-earned, but once a Dust Eagle bonds with its owner, it will serve them with utmost loyalty.

Instead of getting up close and physical it instead propels the hardened ash around its claws to confuse the target when soaring overhead. The ash will deal no damage and instead crumble into dust when hitting the target, giving the Dust Eagle time to strike again from behind, plunging its sharpened talons into its unsuspecting prey.
