Magic Name: Rimefrost of the Northern Lights
Magic Type: 2nd gen slayer(post #204) Avatar of Decay(+75% to HP. The user gains the ability to designate Blood spells in the magic including this magic type. Derevina is considered a solitary bond pet for this magic.Proof here)
Description: In a time after the mysterious tragedy of the twin catastrophes, people on what is known as Iserheim, iceberg, struggled with their new environment. The worst of those were the people far to it's north, being right near the portal. While many did die, a few seemed to live long enough to survive and eventually migrate south, telling a tale of the benevolent aurora lights. However, that story is the result of word of mouth exchanging stories and, over time, lose a few details. Enough to muddle the mysterious dragon that had come to the aid of some of Iserheim's people in their darkest hour. Yet the past always have a way to come back to the surface. Reina herself would stumble across the larcima on a quest and through it's aid come back alive. However she has become more then she was before, bringing a dead legend back to the minds of the people of Iserheim.
As for the actual magic itself, it is quite flexible in what it can do. Ice offers more solid effects like barriers of ice and freezing blizzards, manipulating the aurora lights allow for more supernatural effects utilizing both their light and darkness, mimicking the powers of old. While these three seem to be powerful enough on their own, the user can also harness mankind's most powerful ability; hope. Specifically, the user is capable of granting the wishes of those around them and themselves, or at least influence outcomes to favor them.
After a chance encounter with "The Black Dragon of Apocalypse", the two have found they both desired what the other had within them. For Derevina, the ability to escape her role as only a source of decay and rot to at least pretend she is something else, to be a being that was not bound by some mystic cosmic laws forever binding her to a single path. As such, while she is with the user she is able to exert her free will as a Black Dragon and even bless them by granting them the title and position of her avatar. The user also serves as a shelter and a means for the goddess to continue her work uninterrupted by those who view her as a blight on the world. As for what the user wanted from their arrangement?
It's plain enough to see whenever the two are out and about together.
- Slayer details:
Overview: Slayers are mages which have been gifted control over an element (or potentially a concept) from a dragon, god, demon, or some other aspect or being. This can include both learning it directly from the being in question or through a lacrima left behind by a being. There are several different types, generations, and versions of Slayers. Details on every possible type of Slayer Magic can be found below the following benefits for Slayer Magic. Note that Slayer Magic cannot be freely created on FTRP. In order to obtain Slayer Magic, one may register to use it in this or can use a Slayer Lacrima in order to obtain it.
Slayer Benefits: Slayer magic overrides the possibility to get any benefits from other types of magic for the particular Slayer magic in question. Slayer magic is always Solitary Slayer and cannot use any other benefits alongside the Slayer benefit. Slayer magic grants the following benefits to the character who has it.
+50% passive increase to Strength, Speed, and Spell Damage.
Greatly enhanced senses of Hearing, Sight, and Smell.
Ability to Consume Magic of the same element as the Slayer Magic(Ice, light, darkness, wishes) to regain MP as well as the Force Ability (See below).
Inherent Damage Resistance to their slayer element based on the rank of spell/ability as follows:
2 Ranks above Character: 0%
1 Rank above Character: 10%
Same Rank as Character: 25%
1 Rank below Character: 35%
2 Ranks below character: 50%
Magic Consumption: Slayers can consume the element and elemental spells/abilities associated with their respective Slayer magic, allowing them to recover Magic Power. If a spell, for example, contains 20 MP and a Slayer consumes the spell, the Slayer regains 20 MP, etc. Slayers do not take damage from spells that are consumed. If a spell that is being consumed by a Slayer is higher in rank than the Slayer they, instead of gaining the full MP of the spell of they are consuming, regain a quarter of the MP of a spell of their own rank while also taking full damage from the spell that is being consumed. Resistances do not affect damage taken this way in any way or form.
Naturally-occurring Elements: Naturally-occurring sources of the element a Slayer controls can be consumed to regain MP. If a naturally occurring version of a Slayer's element is consumed it regenerates 5% of a mage's maximum MP. This form of elemental consumption can only occur once per post max, but functions independently from regular MP regeneration and can trigger separate from the regular cap imposed by MP regeneration.
Additional notes: Slayers cannot consume their own spells or abilities, whether this is from their magic, a weapon, a Summon, Take-Over's spell, or any other source of their own magic. Slayers can’t eat their pet’s abilities, or their pets themselves if they are made of an elemental magic.
Dragon Slayers: Dragon Slayers can eat all pure forms of their own element, but they cannot eat elements that are mixed with other elements (Example: Ice Dragon Slayers cannot eat Dark Ice). If Dragon Slayers consume an impure spell/ability of their element they take full damage from the spell, which is not affected by resistances in any way or form. If they consume a naturally occurring impure version of their element, they lose 10% of their maximum HP.
Advantages: The form of elemental magic they use is neutral (pure), in between the light and dark side of the magical spectrum. Dragon Slayer Magic deals double base damage to Lizard, Wyvern, and (Lesser and Greater) Dragon non-player opponents.
Disadvantages: Though Dragon Slayers get these benefits, they do have one set back: Motion sickness. Dragon Slayers cannot ride on any vehicle or method of transportation without getting motion sick. They can still fly, of course, or use their pets for transportation without getting motion sick. The only slayer that is immune to motion sickness is the Sky Dragon Slayer. Motion sickness can be cured through the use of a User Rank healing spell.

Unique Abilities:
- Plot abilities:
Wishmaster:(Plot ability only) From the cosmic power in the lacrima, the user finds themselves more fortunate. Skies seem to clear more often when they desire them too, their more often able to get the last pastry at the bakery before it's sold out, they find jewels when they were short some for the day. Even through unlikely circumstances, if the user desires something, more often then not it will happen. This also extends to those around them, at times the user may even know what they wish for without asking, and may unconsciously try to grant it.
Of course, wishes do have a very real effect on the user's magic. If they find themselves wishing hard for something to happen, their magic may suddenly empower itself to achieve it, even without them knowing. More so is this possible if the user's wish is the same as others around them, potentially skyrocketing their power in order to grant their wishes. Then again, wishes are often fleeting things, and should not be counted on due to their hopeful nature in a sometimes unforgiving world. For this ability to function when other players, player owned NPC's, and event NPC's are involved, OOC permission must be given first.
Transmutation: The user from this magic is able to conjure and create objects similar in nature to memory-make as described in abilities that reference this. However these objects will disappear after the spell's duration for them ended unless the user finds material similar to their composition and uses it as a foundation for their creation(any metal can be used for a metal creation for example, though materials inherently hostile to magic will turn to dust upon creation). If a item made this way had a spell value attached to it, it loses it regardless upon the end of the spell's duration.
- Benevolent Aurora:
Much like the lights that offered guidance and comfort long ago, the user is now capable of similar actions. The user designates a target they can see, aurora lights flow out from the user to them. The target will then have a faint aura of said lights all over their body, a sign they have been affected.
This effect allows a spell the user or another casted on them prior to be cast on another target. This effect requires the user to pay the spell's mana cost again for this to work, this must be a spell equal or lower to the user's rank(capping out at S-rank), and can only work on one spell at a time. If the active has any effect that damages the target, or if the user wishes to target a enemy, they must have OOC permission first. Said spell can only be copied like this if it does not contain the following category and types; Offensive, supportive, AoE and passive. Finally, if a spell is copied like this, the copy has the new name of "Aurora's cloak".
To make use of this more often, the user also gains a 60% passive buff to their MP
- Glacial Fortification:
Ice made with cosmic energy tends to have weird effects on people, for the user this is positive. They gain a user rank buff to their spell durability and mana capping out a S-rank.
- Rimefrost dragon's mastery:
The user's body now able to fully utilize the lacrima in their body has now a new command over their elements. They can manipulate with ease ice around them into rudimentary forms, weave lights and darkness like yarn into aurora spectacles, and even conjure mundane items with just a thought so as long it can fit in their hand.
This also shown when being struck by such spells; being able to handle frigid temperatures her opponents throw at her with ease, her senses able to pierce both blinding and suffocating darkness. Or perhaps this is merely because she wishes too? Regardless, this is reflected with a 60% buff to spell durability and spell range.

The object created must be no larger than a 3-meter cube, and the object must be of a form and material that the user has seen before. If the object is comprised of multiple components(such as a car engine or a bike), the user either has to have prior knowledge of crafting it or the necessary knowledge on hand to craft it(blueprints as a example). They can only create up to eight of the same object at a time, if they try to make one past the limit then the oldest object will disappear. Said objects will disappear after the duration ends on this spell.
Due to the nature of this spell, their is a wide variety of things they can create. However the nature of these objects can differ in effectiveness from their normal counterparts. To be specific, if a object the user creates can be considered offensive or defensive, it follows the values above respectively.

Name: Rimefrost dragon's chosen few
Rank: A+
MP Cost: 75
Category: Supportive
Type: AoE
Healing: 75
Range: 225
Speed: 110
Duration: 9
Downside: Sacrificing two effects for 50% stronger debuff
Description: The user takes a breath before unleashing it outward, the breath becoming a savage blizzard that fans outward in a cone shape pattern up to the range above. All who are caught in it are affected by it, but because these frigid winds come from the Rimefrost it has different affects on allies and foes.
Allies caught in this blizzard and the user will find a layer of frost coating them, though this layer of frost seems to be strategically placed. It covers open wounds and concentrates on areas that would best benefit from the cold, while over all they will find themselves more awake for the moment. This is reflected by them being healed for the value above.
Enemies caught by the blizzard will also be covered in frost, but unlike allies their formations will be far more jagged and sharp, ice forming that reduces their flexibility. This is reflected by 150% speed debuff that afflicts them for the duration of this spell.
Name: Rimefrost dragon's territory
Rank: A+
MP Cost: 75
Category: Auxiliary
Type: AoE
Damage: NA
Range: 225
Speed: 110
Duration: 9
Downside: Sacrificing a effect for 25% stronger debuff
Description: The user throws out their hand as ice begins circling and forming out of the air, at first around them before spreading out to the spell's range above. They hover and grow in various sizes before suddenly smashing into the ground, freezing the area over in a layer of ice. Even if the day is hot, those in the circle will feel a howling cold breeze brushing through.
This territory is favorable to the user and their allies by harmfully effecting enemies. For starters, all enemies within the territory will find their spells sluggish and more inaccurate, suffering a 125% debuff to spell speed. Foes who leave the circle will not find it without a price. From wherever the user is in the circle, a wave of ice will tear through the ground toward the foe, homing in on them within Aoe rank and speed(A+ values). If they are struck, they will find their legs frozen to the ground, unable to move for the rest of the post. Multiple enemies can be affected if they leave the circle at the same time, though they can only be frozen every other post.

If the user makes several separate different basic ice shapes with this spell, only one can block damage at a time, and must be declared in the post which shape it is.

From this they touch the target, returning them to life. This occurs so as long the creature has not been dead for no longer then 100 years, died of old age, and if their soul is free and willing to come back. If their is no corpse to touch, the user may instead call out their name, in which they will appear within 3 meters of the user(Requires OOC permission to be used on players, player-owned NPCs, or Event NPCs).
If restored to life this way, the creature has all missing organs and limbs restored no matter how grievous represented by a 5% regen to their health upon revival and for the duration. A anti-piercing shield of the above value is also cast on the body before being brought back to life to ensure they do not depart so quickly, as those who are brought back to life from this spell cannot be brought back again for the rest of the thread. Description: The user focuses their mana on a single point in range, aligning hers and others desires to continue to live. From it, a sudden surge of aurora lights flow out above the point even being visible in the day. Any missing organs or wounds heal back(no missing limbs however), which is represented by a 5% hp regen upon revival and for the duration. A anti-piercing shield of the above value is also cast on the body before they are revived for the duration to ensure they do not depart so quickly, as those who are brought back to life from this spell cannot be brought back again for the rest of the thread. As a additional note, the process of coming back from death can be harrowing, and the level of sanity they come back with may vary highly.
Name: Minor Wish
Rank: H+
MP Cost: 105
Category: Auxiliary
Type: single target
Range: 800
Speed: 800
Duration: 25
Downside: The user can only use one effect at a time from this spell. If they wish to change the effect, they must end the spell and re-cast it.
Description:
A spell that is apart of many cautionary tales, it is both the hopes of the desperate and the devastation of those without caution. It is the very power that the rimefrost dragon from long ago had been able to care for those under it's watch. The user themselves have now reached a level of understanding within themselves and the lacrima to be able to harness a part of this power, resulting in this spell. As such each effect is powerful in it's own right, regardless of what effect is chosen reality seems to bend and change at the user's whim. How can vary, but is none the less described below.- Wish effects:
The user can choose between these four effects when casting the spell as followed;
I wish to cast that spell!: The user can choose to cast a spell that either came from them or they saw casted in the current thread. If the user normally doesn't posses the tools or body to cast the spell, then such aspects materialize out of the air itself, reality granting them what they need. This follows copy rules, and if they wish to copy a new spell they have to recast this spell. Finally they either have to seen the spell in action or understand it well enough for it to work.
I wish for this to stop!: The user can negate a spell cast within range of this spell by following normal negation rules, a bright ray of aurora lights emits from their hand to touch the spell. Said spell then is dissipated, being paused in the air before shattering like glass revealing the new reality where it was never cast.
I wish for power!: The user can choose themselves or another to receive a 115% increase to either their strength or spell power(the target chooses upon receiving the cast). If they chose another, a wave of aurora lights flows from the user's location to them, coating them in it's magic before changing into a form that they desire.
I wish for a thing!: The user creates any object or objects so as long they are not magical in nature. It can be no more than 800 meters in any dimension, and it appears in an unoccupied space they can see on the ground.
