Personality: Mamoru is a very shy and quiet guy. He's not completely anti-social, but he prefers being alone. He communicates with people every once in a while when he's in the guild, but otherwise spends most of his time sitting in the corner with a book on his hand. Despite his nature, people still try to talk to him, which he replies happily.
When he's not in the guild, he's often seen in his home writing poetry or playing the music that he composed himself on the piano. He expresses his feelings through writing since he lacks the proper skill to express them openly and properly. He uses those poems to make lyrics for the music that he has already composed.
When he's not in the mood of staying at home, he goes out to the forest and take a walk by himself or with his dog. There, he trains his magic. For him, his magic is very important in order to protect the people around him. He would spend hours and hours in attempts to increase the duration of time of how long he can keep using his magic.
In battles, he avoids harming his opponents directly and disarms them instead. When he's fighting with a group, he focuses on using his magic to support his comrades. Although he avoids harming his opponents if he could help it, he doesn't think twice about obliterating them when they manage to make him angry enough.
Practically he's the leader of the group because of his natural talent in generating different strategies all at once in his head, even while in battle; he's often kept at the back of the party while he dictates his comrades the moves they must make to ensure victory with little to no serious injury or fatality. He's usually perceived as the leader in a group, so his well-being during combat is a priority of all the members, as well as following the strategy that he came up with closely.
