Name: Lily Ambrosia
Gender: Female
Age: Undefined
Birthday: Unknown
Sexuality: Pansexual
Special Characteristics: Hair like foliage of a tree, amber sclera, brown skin like oakwood (still soft), pointy ears, slender hairless tail, has golden lily growing on her head
Personality:
At the core Lily is a friendly, cheerful and welcoming creature. She finds it very difficult to bear anyone any kind of ill will, which shows in how she's amiable and upbeat with practically anyone. The only real exception is when she's intimidated by someone in which case she'll still be friendly but not quite as outspoken (and she can be intimidated rather easily by scary things). She's also not above being surprised, and isn't very good at hiding her emotions either. She can be referred to as someone who wears her heart on her sleeve, which just makes it a good thing that her heart is mostly formed of altruism and naive optimism.
Of course one doesn't live as long as Lily has (even if that age is uncertain) without learning that the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Lily might try to see the best in people but she is aware that sometimes conflict is unavoidable and while she rarely will hold a grudge she won't sit on the sidelines and let others be hurt if she can avoid it. Even with her enemies she has a habit of minimizing the pain they suffer. This can occasionally pose a problem when she's being too careful (or helpful) and others capitalize on it.
In battle Lily is more invested in minimizing damage than outright defeating the enemy. She is quite smart and will use that intelligence, and if there's no other option she will engage with the intent to defeat the opposition, but practically anyone would be able to see that she's happier with a supportive or a defensive role.
Given that she doesn't really see herself as someone important she doesn't have much reason to object to someone else handing out orders unless she's got ethical or intelligent objections to them. She is capable of overriding her own desires if she feels like the orders came from someone more knowledgeable about the situation than herself, although even the most experienced and respected of commanders would have a difficult time convincing Lily to partake in any acts of cruelty, even when that might end up being the most pragmatic option.
So far as command goes Lily is pretty much unsuitable. While she can have good ideas and think of elaborate plans to achieve the objective she doesn't know how to make others obey her. This is partially due to her not desiring to order others about and partially because she just isn't very good at intimidating or commanding the kind of respect which ensures orders are immediately followed. Realistically the only way she could be the one in charge is if she was governing lower-intelligence creature types or her subordinates followed her voluntarily so she didn't need to impose her will on them.

Likes:
- Altruism: a good deed is its own reward. To be able to help in itself makes Lily happy, and she believes this to be true for most people even if they often don't realize it themselves.
- Art: plants an animals may be good company for a dryad, but it takes a sentient mind to let creativity flow. Lily enjoys seeing the products of intelligence.
- Nature: a no brainer, a dryad is going to have everything green and lively and natural near the top of the list of things she likes if not the actual top.
Dislikes:
- Cruelty: different perspectives, different needs and different desires are going to cause conflict. But she feels like that doesn't excuse being cruel. However she is aware that cruelty also exists in the wilds and doesn't turn a blind eye to that either.
- Outsiders: while gods are preferable over demons she doesn't enjoy having these otherworldly entities use the world as their plaything or even as their chessboard. Those who show concern are welcomed with open arms but the apathetic are chased away at the earliest opportunity.
- Undead: if someone becomes interested in seeing what Lily is like when she's actually being aggressive, exposing her to undead does the trick. Cessation of movement and a quick burial to have the body return to the cycle of life is her usual response.
Motivations:
- Coexistence: there are many guardians of nature who dislike civilization encroaching upon nature's territory. Lily feels like it's better to find ways to help nature and civilization coexist than to separate them or to stunt growth. Evolution is a constant process, so enforcing stasis sounds ironically unnatural to her.
- Entertainment: while her age is a mystery to everyone including herself it is undeniable that in human years Lily has lived a very long time. Because of that doing things which are exciting or fun is a motivation in and of itself.
- Growth: combining with her desire for coexistance and standing alone, Lily likes seeing things grow. From sapling to tree, from baby to adult, from dream to reality, it's pleasant to grow and to aid others in their growth.
Fears:
- Claustrophobia: Lily is used to the great outdoors. She doesn't handle small spaces well. Or at least, articial small spaces which aren't made of a material she is familiar or comfortable with. Caves are not a problem, and neither are wooden buildings.
- Oblivion: when you've accepted that death is part of the cycle and that after your death you'll live on in what comes after you, the idea of disappearing entirely becomes the thing that terrifies you. She knows there are ways to completely remove something or someone from existence, and it's horrifying.
- Suffering: while fear might be a strong term it's undeniable that Lily has trouble handling suffering, both for herself and for others. Of course she's long since learned how to handle it (to some extent), but her strong empathy doesn't allow her to become completely used to it.
