Name: Ormir Scytha
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Birthday: November 3rd
Sexuality: Demisexual, Aromantic
Special Characteristics: Ormir bears scars around much of his body. While most are smaller, a few stand out more. One just under his left pectoral, another down the right side of his stomach, one on the outside of his left forearm, and one more on his left calf.
Personality:
Ormir is a very down-to-earth person. He’s chill, even keel, and even pleasant to be around. His voice is even, if a bit rough, and very little seems to shake him. Hells, it’s impossible just to scare the man a little bit. Spend a bit of time around him and you may start to notice why.
Under the surface, Ormir is a very macabre person. His appreciation for nature might be nothing special, but his fascination with rot and what lies in the dark might be a bit unsettling to some. Much of Ormir’s childhood was spent in the dirt, with his some of his favorite sights being when he saw the cycle of life in progress. Anything that lets an animal rest at last, after a long (or perhaps short) life of living in a pure and free world is something that makes Ormir very happy.
Go a little deeper, and you’ll discover a fascination with things which disturb this cycle of life. The undead are something that Ormir is utterly interested in, and much of his work is done with regards to finding out what makes them tick. This extends as well to all manner of supernatural creatures. Zombies, werewolves, vampires, anything that goes bump in the night is of great interest to Ormir Scytha.
Go as deep as you can, and you’ll find the basis of Ormir’s worldview is centered on strength. The strength to survive, to thrive, to protect what is yours and annihilate what stands against you. Ormir believes firmly in the idea of survival of the fittest, and seeks to increase his own power because of it. The cycle of life that Ormir is so fascinated by and treasures is perpetuated by the very power that so many wield. Something as simple as being a part of that cycle is something that is deeply precious to Ormir, and drives him at his very core.
It doesn’t take long to realize something’s a little off with Ormir. Ignoring all the stuff above, he doesn’t really understand a lot of things that other people do. Romance, for example, seems completely pointless and unnecessary to Ormir. Fashion is similarly uncared for, as all Ormir cares about is that his clothes will keep him warm and help him carry stuff. A lot of things that some might think of as fun or interesting are things that Ormir just… doesn’t have interest in. He doesn’t get it. He’s got his thing and that’s pretty much all there is to him. The rest doesn’t matter that much.
...And yet. Ormir has a friend. Just one. His connection to Myriak is a very precious one. The only person he considers a friend. And more than that, he considers them as family. Ormir isn’t one to question it… But perhaps this strange contradiction to his beliefs is something worth noting.

Likes:
- Horror! Ormir loves horror thanks to a lot of the macabre aesthetics and themes it tends to portray and explore. Give this man a horror novel and he will be quite happy.
- Insects! Ormir loves his creepy crawlies. Unlike most, Ormir finds them utterly adorable. He WILL pet them if given the chance. Cute lil’ things. Better than puppies.
- Mushrooms! Ignoring the macabre implications, mushrooms are Ormir’s favorite food. Ultra tasty, those dang things.
Dislikes:
- Cleanliness. Ormir is truly alive in places that aren’t clean. In the dirt, in the rain, in the wilds where everything is pure and free. Places that are cleaned all the time by people who apparently don’t like dirt are just not something Ormir particularly enjoys.
- Strict manners. If you’re too uptight or too polite, it’s just obnoxious. Sure a little bit of polite hospitality might be welcome, but if you’re going to dance around something for the sake of being polite then you’re just wasting everyone’s time.
- Glum people. Ormir doesn’t like downers. He might be into the macabre and all that, but even Ormir doesn’t like people who are just in sour moods all the time.
Motivations:
- Power. Ormir holds a very power-based worldview. The goal of living is to gain power and become stronger.
- Survival. Power is the means to this end. The world revolves around survival of the fittest. All Ormir wants, in the end, is the power to survive no matter what.
- Protect what’s his. Ormir… doesn’t have much. And he’s fine with this. But what little he does have, he will protect with a ferocity unmatched.
Fears:
- Losing something. Ormir, deep down, is afraid of losing what little he has. It’s buried under a lot of denial, but Ormir places a lot of value on a few things he’d rather not lose. His knife and his friend Myriak are examples of this.
- Being weak. Ormir HATES being weak, more than anything. His greatest fear is being too weak to protect himself from others.
- Horse teeth. Have you seen those things? Absolutely terrifying. Get them away.
