Pirates not on vacation. (Job)

Zero leaned against a wall watching the pirate ship slowly floating towards shore, in his left hand he held a open letter which his sea green eyes flicked to. A request from help from a resort island dealing with Pirates. Apparently they demanded a sum in Jewels to leave the resort alone and the resort decided it be cheaper to hire a Mage from Fairy Tail. I mean... considering the reckless psychos that made up the guild, Zero was surprised that was who people turned too. Folding the letter, he slipped it into the pocket of his white cotton pants and strolled leisurely out to the dock. A man stood on the prow of the ship and gazed down with a menacing stare. Zero smirked, he liked that word, menacing.

"Excuse me, are you Four finger?" Zero asked with a friendly smile. Maybe he could get out of this without a fight?

The man scowled and looked the boy over. Blonde hair, tall, lean, odd clothes, and, his eyes flared, a Fairy Tail symbol. He turned to several of his boys and pointed. A fire wizard stepped forward and raised his hand, muttering a spell he pointed at Zero and fired. Zero raised a single brow and opened his arms. "Around me is a glorious dome of protection" And like that there was. The fireball hit it and sizzled away.

"That wasn't nice." He called back as he raised his hand to the heavens. "My soul burns for justice and only you can give it to me, I call down heavens Judgement!" A bright golden light appeared in the sky, it moved quickly, stopping over the mage who looked up and a blinding white light fired down, the mage screamed as he and the spot he stood on exploded in a flare of light.

The captain spun, glaring at the mage he let out a piercing whistle. Several more fire mages appeared and fireballs fired down. Each one slammed into his Dome and fizzled out. Zero opened his hand towards the ship. "From wood you came, beloved ship, and from wood return, rise and pierce my foes!" The wood on the ship creaked and groaned than several wooden spikes shot out, flying and twisting they covered the distance. Wizards cried out as they were pierced by the spiked wood, dragged to the deck they knew so well and had cleaned many times before.

As the men lay on the ship planks, pierced, their life's sap leaking through the planks, the Captain would let out a terrible roar of rage. His pirates, his crew, killed by a mere boy in a vest! He glared at the other four fire mages and opened his mouth to scream, only for it to be too late for them. Zero had seen his prey thanks to the captain.

"Oh glorious stars, dance and glint, bring your path to thine enemies!" His voice chanted out. In the sky above four meteors fell, barreling at forty five meters per second, two of them did the smart thing and dove overboard, while the other two, shoved to the ground by their comrades, were obliterated by the force of the blow. A huge explosion rocked the ship as the meteors cannon balled their way through the top of the ship and down into the sea below. A voice shouted out. "BREACH!" Several hands moved quickly, but the holes were too big. Sea water gushed inside, on a mission to bring the ship down into it's depths.

"Oh water of life, ye who gives and takes, show thine power, twirl and pull, may your grasp never be ignored!" The water the two fire mages dove into began to twist, twirl, turn, and Twist. The men screamed, water gushing into their mouths, arms flailing to fight the torrent, legs kicking, but to no avail. The whirlpool pulled them down under, into the depths, into darkness, into everlasting sleep. All ten of the captains Pyromancers now paid their due at the locker of Davy Jones.

Captain Four finger was in a rage, grabbing a cannoneer, he pointed at the boy standing on the dock. "KILL HIM!"

Two of his men ran forward, Cannons pulled out and fired, the cannon balls flew forward and slammed into Zero's shield dome, cracks formed but none of the metal balls pierced the shield. Zero turned, hiding behind a stone house as more cannon balls flew through the air. The ship tilted, water pouring into the hull. A curse from the captain and he ordered his men to the life boats. Still firing, the cannoneers took one life boat so they could keep a continues fire. Zero broke the closest window and slid inside, coming to the other window across, he looked out to see the pirates rowing closer. His hand lifted pointing at the seas.

"Legend of the depths, ship destroyer, great one, I call thee, Kraken!"

The water turned dark under the life boat of the cannoneers, huge tentacles exploded outward, they curled around the boat, lifting it high into the air before slamming it down onto the surface and shattering it. The five men screamed, grabbed by the tentacles they fired and fired but to no avail, for it was no summon, just Zero's magic given form. The men fought tooth and nail but it was pointless, they were pulled down into the depths, to join their pyromancy friends. Once more the sea claimed it's due.

Zero turned his head as three mages jump onto shore, looking back as the tentacles writhe and flail, pulling their comrades deep into the depths. Eyes of fear and terror turn to look at the boy climbing out of the house. "What the hell is he?" One shouted. Raising his hand he summoned a golem in front of him. Zero whipped his hand up. "Arrow of steel, pierce my foe." A gleaming metal arrow appeared in front of his finger and fired at a hundred and eighty meters per second, the arrow slammed into the golem and shattered it.

Zero opened his arms. "The world is better off without you, the time has come for your wicked deeds to be seen. Light arrows of judgment, I call upon you to smite evil!" Three glowing arrows appeared around Zero, they fired at forty five meters a second. One jumped back into the water, his other two comrades didn't have the luck and were pierced by the arrows. Zero whipped his hand around pointing at the summoner in the water as he pulled himself up, a golem appearing in front of him. "Fast on your feet but wicked you are, harm the innocent and pay the price. Your toy will not save you, it too will fall, for I judge the evil! LASER OF JUDGMENT!"

Zero points his hand and twin beams of narrow light fire out. One slicing through the golem, the other taking the summoner between the eyes. Both fell to the floor. A roar sounded and Zero turned as a fist slammed a inch from his face, stumbling back as his barrier flashed into being, a massive crack covering it like brittle glass. The fury on the captains face was easy to see, his eyes burned with hate. His pyromancers, cannoneers, and now his summoners. All slain by a BOY! "YOU WILL DIE!"

Zero dropped his shield and raised his hand, a calm smile forming. "Your too loud, Captain. You will give yourself a heart attack."

Zero leaped back, putting room between the pair. The captain was in a fury, his arms raising as he equipped two cannons, one on each arm. Aiming, he fired at the boy who dared to stand against him.

"I call a might wall of impregnable defense!" A wall materialized a few feet in front of Zero, the cannon balls slamming into it but not breaking it. The captain fired twice more this time the wall shattered from the second cannon ball revealing a empty road. Zero had run down a side street while the captain was busy with his wall. He rolled out from behind a building, finger pointing at the captain. "A spear of destiny aims for your black heart!" A six foot spear appeared in the air and fired at the captain who dove to the side at the last minute, the spear smashing into a building where it sank almost to the end.

The captain aimed and fired a cannon ball, Zero rolled back behind the building as the cannon ball whipped past his head. Zero huffed, this guy was good. Zero peeked around and saw the captain walking down the street towards him, arm raised waiting for a shot. Zero looked up and a idea formed. Leaping, he grabbed the roof and pulled himself up onto the roof, staying low, he snuck around to the back. Peeking over the top, he saw the captain swing around where he had been. Zero ran and jumped off the roof, over the captain who looked up, eyes wide.

"A sword of law appears in my hand!" A two handed sword, point down, appeared in Zero's hand as he came down. The blade sunk into the captains chest and out the other side as Zero landed on the ground, holding the blade slowed his momentum. He looked up into the shocked face of Captain Four fingers until the light faded. Zero stepped away and sat down, chest rising as he slid a hand across his forehead. That had been a lot of magic!

Zero stood up and turned away, leaving the feared captain dead on his blade. He was not a close quarter fighter but he saw a chance! Zero headed for the main office to collect his reward.
