Born in the frozen wasteland of Iceberg, Cognac D. Regulus was discovered by a wandering tribe of Iceberg warriors who adopted the young boy. The warriors believe that because he survived the harsh frigid wastelands alone for an undetermined amount of time, he possessed the strength and his pure luck. They named him Cognac D. Regulus, after a infamous alcoholic beverage that the chieftain of the clan of warriors had taken a liken to, the chieftain himself decided to raise the fortunate child as one of his own. Under the care of the chieftain, Cognac D. Regulus became fascinated with the mythology of his adopted people, and in some manner, Cognac embraced the Iceberg Gods. Namely, Cognac took patronage to the Iceberg God Thor, and Tyr- one who was the god of weather, and the other the god of war and justice. The two deities served as inspirational figures for Cognac to mimic, and whose traits he adopted within his own personality. However, his adopted father advised him to take patronage to Odin as well, whom was the King of the Gods, and the Gods of Wisdom.

Cognac D. Regulus is an awkward and odd person. Among his tribe, Cognac tends to stand out due to his eccentric nature and crimson red hair- most members of his tribe have blonde or dark brown hair, with red being relatively rare and fewer in numbers. Another reason why Cognac stood among his people, is for his laid-back and more often than not, goofy attitude. While most individual within his tribe were harden warriors, Cognac was a trickster, one who not only held a distaste for violence but also was a little air headed. When his adopted father was mad at him, the chieftain occasionally called him the “son of loki” for his fool hardy nature. With that being said, Cognac remained respected in his clan for his skills as a warrior and sense of diplomacy. Cognac’s life would change when he turned seventeen years old, when his clan was defeated and put to the sword by a rival clan whom his adopted clan had fought with for years. The young Cognac escaped his clan’s execution by jumping ship where he was found by merchants.

As mentioned above, Cognac is an eccentric and odd fellow, one that was really different from his comrades in his adopted tribe in terms of temperament. The main difference that stood out from him and his adopted family, is that Cognac is largely a pacifist with a distaste for violence. His pacifism is to such an extent, that Cognac would rather be mocked and made fun of rather than defend his honor or start a fight because someone was being a jerk. With that being said, Cognac does care a lot about his friends and families, and while he does not like fighting, that does not mean that he would defend himself or another when things escalate. Cognac also likes to engage in friendly competitions, and on some occasion’s duels. Like most people within his clan, Cognac is struck with reckless wanderlust that actively seeks him to look for trouble and challenges wherever they can be found.
