Name: Zygmunt
Grade: Artifact
Type: Weapon
Proof of Acquisition: Linked Here - Original
Description: Zygmunt is the name of a ten-bladed two handed, double edged weapon which possesses the ability to split itself into dual wielding halves. The hilt is golden, while the rest of the weapon is a dark muted black. The blades are scaled, leaving them slightly textured on the flat surfaces while the edge remains extremely sharp. While split into two parts, each only deals half of the weapon's base melee damage. Magic can be channeled through the blades regardless of whether they are together or separate. When separated, either blade may be used as an origin point for the caster to channel Zygmunt's power, however, regardless of their separations, only one version of Shadow Wave or Nightly Shadows may be active at once. Zygmunt is comprised of ancient materials whose weight is immense in different manners. The shadowy powers bombard the user with corruptive taunts in order to weaken their psychological state. In addition, the substance of Zygmunt attacks the holder's magic in the sense of constantly attempting to convert it into the shadow element. Simply on a level of the tangible matter used to craft Zygmunt, it can only be carried by the most worthy, meaning the weapon requires a great deal of mental fortitude, magical strength, and physical prowess to wield.
