Personality: The wonders of the world had always set Jacana’s eyes alight with wonder. Every story told of far off places, daring adventures, bustling port cities, and curious, strange creatures would put Jacana at the edge of her seat, leaned in with trepidatious excitement. She’d take her friends on expeditions throughout the town, making up stories and playing pretend. Her mother says she gets it from her father. The man had been driven by the same wanderlust his entire life, always drawn away by his insatiable curiosity. When Jacana was six, that same curiosity drew her father away again. He and his old adventuring party from his prime left to take a short expedition through the Whirlpool Sea. It would be an adventure that shouldn’t have taken them more than two years. However, when that time came and went, and more time drew on, it became clear that something had happened. After an additional two years had passed with no word from any of them, they were forced to accept that he wasn’t coming back. Jacana, however, refused to believe it. Given the built-up image she had of her father, there was no room for the possibility of him having died. He was too experienced and too cool to have died that way. So, when Jacana and her mother traveled to Rose Gardens when she was 12, she procured a magic ring and a booklet on different magics. When she was 16, she got a job and saved up until she was 19, when she left to travel to Clover Town. She planned to either join a party headed into the Whirlpool Sea or buy a canoe or small boat and travel up the river to the sea herself. However, she was stopped before she could purchase a canoe by a mage named Kino. He enlightened her to the fact that, frankly, she was too inexperienced and weak to go to the Whirlpool Sea as she was. So, after a great deal of begging and nagging, she convinced the man to help her get strong enough to achieve her goal. And so, the two’s journey to the Silver Wolves Guild began!
