Nothing can stand in my way on my metoric rise to the top. I'm going to achieve greatness. Let those who would oppose me be consumed by darkness and suffer.
It was a beautiful evening in Magnolia town, a cool breeze rising off of the rivers that snaked through the town and over the buildings, rustling leaves and feathers. The sweet twitter of birds overhead could be heard as mothers sought out their young for feeding time, and the activity in the streets was calming down as people were preparing supper for their families, causing a wonderful aroma to be carried on the wind as well. It was a surprisingly nice but normal evening, everywhere perhaps except inside of the gem of Magnolia, the guild hall of Fairy Tail. Generally on an evening such as this there would be all sorts of noise from different people of different walks of life who had all united under one banner, one set of ideals, and one leader, but tonight is was shockingly quiet. One man sat by himself at a table picking at his food and contemplating what he had done, and what he was going to tell...him.

The young man in question, Mitsuo Takahashi, was dressed in simple clothing; a black short sleeve shirt with a whirlpool logo on the chest, a white hooded sweatshirt with the hood down so that his messy blonde hair was visible for all to see. His piercing sky blue eyes stared at his forearm as though he were trying to burn a hole through it, the cyan Fairy Tail symbol the target of his fixation. He had only returned from his journey of self discovery fairly recently, and it felt good to be home again, but he had also done things that he was worried could land him in some trouble. He was always cautious when he did it, but he had taken to doing dark jobs that he would receive from an underworld contact to make extra money, something he wasn’t sure the guild leader would appreciate.

Mitsuo had grown accustomed to these jobs during Fairy Tail’s dark oriented era, but that was also a time that most didn’t like to remember. He imagined that anything that was a throwback to those times would most likely need to be erased, and Mitsuo was worried he might be one of those. He had taken another member of the guild with him as well; Julius Seas the pirate. The two of them had met many years ago, and Mitsuo had felt he could trust the man, knowing a bit of his history as well. They had gone in disguise, but he felt guilty about the situation now as he sat here. He wondered what the new guild master would say? Would he be angry? Would he expel them? If it came to that Mitsuo would ensure that Julius took none of the blame, he wouldn’t have him punished for Mitsuo’s foolish mistake.

He imagined he wouldn’t have to wait too long to find out what that reaction would be, however, as he had requested that Mura Kensho, king of the Faeries and Wizard Saint of Fiore, come and talk to him. He was going to come clean and tell Mura everything about his past and about what he had done recently. He would put himself at the mercy of the guild master, and whatever punishment was to be handed down to him he would accept...he only hoped that he would be able to remain in the guild, as he truly did feel at home here...

Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (Mura) Empty Re: Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (Mura)

Post by Mura Kensho 10th March 2021, 12:57 pm

Weird… this evening was quiet down there. Maybe it was the aftermath of the war between Bellum and Pergrande. Maybe it was something else… but Mura found himself occupied with looking through requests from several clients all over Fiore and beyond, making sure that no random pleads of unnecessary violence or sick intents towards innocent entities were put up on the job board. Man, some people out there really thought that Fairy Tail was willing to go through with just any type of execution… while they took pride in their flexibility, there was a boundary to uphold and respect.

However, he was surprised to hear that Mitsuo wanted to meet with him. The blonde Sign Mage… Mura remembered him, but only slightly. He was around when Fairy Tail had fled to Tetsukazu, and he was excited to meet him again. He could understand Mitsuo’s desire to distance himself back then, and seeing him return to the guild was heartwarming… but something felt odd.

The atmosphere, when he went down the elevator and arrived in the large guild hall – holy shit, the new place was huge – was a little tense… he spotted Mitsuo with his gaze aiming down. Mura had learned how to read people’s faces and auras pretty well, partly thanks to Sorano-imouto’s actions, and Mitsuo didn’t look too well. It was as if he was afraid of something.

“’Sup, Mitsuo,” he carelessly greeted with a raised hand in front of the blonde Sign Mage’s face. He shouldn’t grovel like that, really. Keep your head and face high and mighty, Mitsuo. In front of him, Mura would gaze right into his blue eyes with his own, honey-brown irises, donning his Toad Sage Gi and a sand-colored, short cloak over his shoulders. Fairy Tail’s Mark luminated faintly on the left side of his forehead in a turquoise color.

“You wanted to talk to me, so here I am… it’s been a while. I bet you got lots of stories to tell me or something – you must’ve been around places far and wide,” he spoke to Mitsuo with a rising smile and closed eyes, not really reacting accordingly to the tense atmosphere that Mitsuo emitted.

The eyes of the script mage didn’t move as he heard the footsteps of the guild master approaching him. Mitsuo didn’t want to feel even more guilty just yet. It was impossible not to feel the power radiating off of the man, and in a way it was comforting, but more than that was his warmth. The fears that the younger man was having seemed to melt away a little bit as the familiar presence came to him. It was amazing how much stronger Mura had gotten since the last time Mitsuo had seen him, and it made him a little insecure about how far behind he had fallen. People who he had come up with had not only surpassed him, but to such an extent. He had failed them, failed Fairy Tail. He hadn’t been here to protect them coming out of a tough time and he would never make up for that, but he was determined to do all that he could to try.

“Hey, Master Mura.” Mitsuo wouldn’t simply keep looking at his arm while he talked to someone, it was a sign of disrespect and simply wasn’t who he was. He would glance up to the man and could help but smile a soft smile in response to the laid back casual demeanour of the guild leader, disarming Mitsuo slightly and allowing himself to feel a little bit better. He hadn’t interacted with Mura that often in the past, but he was someone whom he had known, and it was always comforting to see a familiar face.

“I did a bit of travelling in my time away yeah. After Kanix...” He trailed off a bit when he mentioned the name. He and the demon mage had been close for a time, but she had taken the guild and made it unrecognizable. Before that they had done many jobs together. “Well, you know. I had to get a change of scenery, so I visited my parents in Hargeon before deciding to travel the world. I began taking on independent jobs that took me all over and allowed me to meet tons of new people, and it was a very interesting time for me. It also gave me some interesting contacts...” The young mage would begin to wring his hands and look back down at the table.

Like the contact who gave you the job with Julius...

He still felt a little bit guilty that he hadn’t told Mura that he was taking that job, but he didn’t want Fairy Tail to know about it, lest it came back to them somehow or his involvement was able to be tracked. He didn’t want them to take a hit to their reputation, but it was also eating away at him inside.

“I’ve kept a couple of those sources to this day, and that’s what I wanted to talk to you about...I know that the guild has worked hard to clean its image after the whole phase from the past...which is great, as we certainly wouldn’t want to be associated with those times. I fear that an action I have committed, very secretly mind you, has the chance to have caused us shame...and if it comes back I want to make sure you know ahead of time...” He would sigh, not wanting to beat around the bush too much and deciding to come right out with it. Unfortunately for Mitsuo, who wasn’t tremendously great with people, that would mean word vomit.

“My contact came with me about a job that involved a target who had been taking advantage of...teenaged girls. He was using his magic to rape them, and impregnated several. When I heard about this man it made me very angry, and I took it upon myself to deal with him. I don’t have any regrets about this action. I am very careful. I wore a mask, and covered all of my discernible features, including my guild mark, to ensure that nobody could trace it back to me or the guild. The part that is bothering me is I enlisted an old friend of both of ours, Julius Seas, to help me. He similarly disguised himself, having worked in a guild in the past where this was standard on jobs like this, and the two of us executed the man in question...”

He would pause for a second, taking a deep breath and calming himself a bit before adding “I just want to say that it isn’t Julius’s fault. Had it not been for me, he wouldn’t have been there. If you need to punish anyone, please just have it be me, he doesn’t deserve to suffer for my foolishness. I should have come to you before taking that job, but when I heard about that man I was so sickened and so angry with his actions that I felt I had to act...” Word vomit complete for now. He would realise that he had ranted and shut his mouth, shaking his head and burying his face in his hands as he felt great sadness washing over his body at the thoughts of potential punishments he could face. Fairy Tail was his home, his family, and he had just gotten them back. He didn’t want to be expelled...

Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (Mura) Empty Re: Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (Mura)

Post by Mura Kensho 12th March 2021, 7:25 am

Okay, yes, Mura had been referred to as Master many times in the past… and it never ceased to give him butterflies in his belly. Luckily, he had grown just a little accustomed to it by now, but he still felt the ticklish feeling. His spirit was raised high already, and it only seemed to rise even higher… until Mitsuo continued to answer him, mentioning a very special name…

Kanix. His previous Mentor. To think that it turned out like this… to think that her decisions alienated Mitsuo from the guild to begin with- it didn’t feel right. If anything, mentioning her name agitated the Guildmaster, dropping his lively spirit deep. He knew very well.

“… Sorry, I… *sigh* It’s really been that long,” he let out in exhaustion. The memory itself tired him out, so it was good for the blonde Sign Mage to continue with his own tale. Mura would listen contently, nodding in interest at the mention of certain, interesting contacts that Mitsuo had developed. “Say, do you mean…?”

Mura’s hunch was proven right. Mitsuo explained that a few of those sources were the topic that the blonde had in mind to talk about. He… no, wait, what was he talking about? His words revealed that some actions he took concerning these sources had led to regret and worry of Fairy Tail’s public image. Mura’s face grew sharper… this really came from the side, totally unexpected from him. Mitsuo, what the hell had you done?

Mura wouldn’t say anything until he heard the entire story. It involved an assassination of a rapist, definitely the type of targets found in the E-Files here. Mitsuo’s way of explaining, however, indicated that he had a huge, personal and emotional investment in the assassination. Anger had driven him to the completion of the mission – while Mura understood very well why everyone would harbor anger for such wasteful piece of filth, he had to hear about how Mitsuo executed the mission. Without having been informed by the guild, he actually masked himself… well, that was a very reasonable thing to do for mercenaries during such types of target eliminations. Maybe his anger hadn’t driven him blind, for otherwise, he could’ve forgotten to mask himself. And…

    Julius was with him?

Julius was once a member of Black Sails… while Mura only possessed limited knowledge of the old guild, he was aware of their ties to the later insurgence of WFTC. Therefore, the type of mission that they pursued were closely tied to the ones that Fairy Tail held.

Okay, Mitsuo sounded deeply remorseful of having involved Julius in all of this. Where was Julius right now? Mura would have to talk with him later about this.

“… Were you handed any personal information about the target?” was Mura’s first question, “Any family members, close ties or friends, any occupations? If he’s dead, then they’d be alerted. Your client could be in danger, then, if they haven’t already made contingency plans against that possibility.” He crossed his arms up in front of his chest and glared Mitsuo down with the eyes of a lion. “And tell me the details of his execution. Now.”

In truth, maybe he should’ve led with ensuring Mitsuo that his actions were aligned with Fairy Tail’s view on executions and acts of independent justice served to such entities. However, any detail lost could prove fatal to the future.

The questions began. At first Mura didn’t seem that angry, he was just getting the facts but when Mitsuo saw his eyes he was looking at a different beast. Mitsuo bit his lower lip and processed each question. There was no point in answering with a lie. Though it was unlikely that the true details would actually come back, there was a chance that the little message in Clover would be talked about. It wouldn’t take much for the guild master to put two and two together when the details about that man began coming out.

“From what I can tell...” Mitsuo steadied his resolve and with it, his voice. “The man was a ghost. Nobody knew anything about him except that he used his magic to seemingly erase himself from the minds of his victims. The only reason he ended up getting found out was several of the girls were found to be pregnant.” Mitsuo suppressed the urge to spit on the floor, a look of disgust clear across his face. “My contact deals with the client, I never have any contact with them; another layer of security. I learned to ensure that myself, my contact, and the client were as covered as possible early on in my career as a freelancer. Kill the wrong mob boss, say and...well it doesn’t matter.” He was getting off topic, back to the task at hand and the final question which Mitsuo really didn’t want to answer, as what he had done had probably gone too far...

“I sent a message...” He would sigh and shake his head, looking back down at his hands. “Julius bound him and handed me his knife. I had brought piano wire and a set of brass knuckles, trying to test myself as I had previously never fought without my sword. I started by cutting out his hamstrings so he couldn’t run before immediately knocking him back unconscious, as the shock had awoken him. I would proceed to use my Dark Ecriture magic to cast a circle of silence around the two of us so that people couldn’t hear the man as I went to work, Julius guarding the alley to make sure nobody found us. I removed his fingers and toes...slowly...as well as his ‘manhood’” This time he almost did spit. “He wasn’t a man, he had forfeited that status when he started targeting young girls and ruining their lives. I took his ears and his nose, and finally after forcing him to watch the rest I took his eyes. I then used the Piano wire to choke the life out of him before writing a message in his blood on the wall.” Mitsuo scowled.

“Let this man’s fate stand as a warning. Any person who preys on children or the underage, or anyone who misuses Magic for evil gains, shall suffer this man’s fate. None shall escape this wrath, for even in brightest day, nobody can escape the shadows.”

Mitsuo shook his head once more. “I know I went too far, and I’m sorry. This man needed to be punished, he needed to pay his penance for his abhorrent crimes against humanity. I’ve seen people like him in the past and the harm that they can cause, and I couldn’t let that happen again...but I understand the potential situation that that places us in. While I am confident that nothing will be traced back to me or the guild, there is always the chance, and if I must be punished I will accept whatever is handed out to me. I'll do anything to make it up to you.”

Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (Mura) Empty Re: Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (Mura)

Post by Mura Kensho 14th March 2021, 12:24 pm

He listened closely as Mitsuo brought the details forth… for a moment, he was thrown aback by the first statement that ‘the man was a ghost’, but he quickly realized that Mitsuo meant that as ‘someone with no apparent connections or relations to anyone’. So the target used his magic to erase himself from the minds of his victims… and only via the revelation of their pregnancies was the culprit captured. Magic and scientific methods could easily cross-fit DNA strands from even embryos and fosters with possible fathers, so whoever was behind this and was dealt with was either an idiot or… or worse… it could’ve been a whole other issue that Mura didn’t even want to consider just yet.

It felt like a red flag, but Mura kept it to himself. Another one was the fact that the contact dealt with the client without Mitsuo’s presence in any way – was Mitsuo informed the client’s identity in one way or another? Usually, clients would go by aliases, but not many clients going to Fairy Tail did that as they could trust the guild and its mercenary forces more than any other, privately hired muscles. The underworld, especially, was never considered unless if said client was hellbent on retribution.

… The details about the confrontation was, honestly, sickening. Mura hated evildoers and people who held no regards for innocent lives, who used them to such extents without permission, shame or conscience. The target had, ultimately, broken several girls’ lives – girls, young females who were protected by law from this sick approach… an action that shouldn’t befall any man or woman ever. Just thinking about it… boiled his blood.

So why, Mitsuo? What led you to… to…

“…” Mitsuo immediately apologized. This must’ve been on his mind for a long time… but Mura was clearly upset. He didn’t want to think too much about it to prevent himself from stressing out, but he had to make things clear to Mitsuo. “You’re right… you went too far. You wasted time and resources, your own and Julius’, on a clearly dead man,” he concluded with a harsh, sharp and low voice, “I hope it’s eating you up from the inside… for I will never let you find even the slightest bit of joy or excitement in torturing anyone… ever again.” Mitsuo’s rage was justified, but his actions weren’t. Not in Mura’s eyes…

“You may not be aware of it, but the piece of filth had already been punished the moment his name was written down on a kill list. Death isn’t a sweet release for scum like him…” Mura explained to the blonde, confused but grieving boy in front of him, “If you knew what I know about the other world, the Hereafter, the passage of souls and the final resting place… it’s not sweet, I tell you that. Did you find that much satisfaction in executing such torture against worthless men like him? What if someone witnessed the scene, against all odds, and only saw a distorted, context-less scene of a blonde psychopath ravishing in the physical torture of men marked for death?”

Mura felt like he had a whole book of pages to say, but he wanted to keep it short and simple. “I expect only one thing from you when your anger boils up; wield it efficiently. We’re not the law nor the government… we’re not the Rune Knights, the Magic Council or even a legal guild… we’re not considered an officially accepted guild. We’re on our own – we’ve been so for a long time. From now on, I will never see you execute anyone in such a wasted, excessive fashion. If you still possess any pride of the Fairy in you-“ He sternly poked Mitsuo’s chest right on the left side where the heart was beating, “-then you will take a life well-deserving immediately… what if he had friends ready to arrive and kill you, Mitsuo?!? Did you not consider what danger you were in?! What danger Julius was in? Did you not consider how the rest of the guild would react and feel?! That’s why we never take chances in situations like these! Our jobs are handled quickly and efficiently, that’s our foundation! Your saliva means more to me than that dead man, so how can you ever waste time on their demise?!”

He was losing it, and he realized it pretty soon. His aura, if Mitsuo sensed it closer, was that of a raging essence… it looked like golden fires deep in Mura’s eyes. Sacred fires, condensed throughout years of experience and merit, fueled by the memories of his team and guildmates. It wasn’t just a Flame of the Phoenix… it was a flame of his steadfast soul that reflected through his deep eyes.

But Mura suddenly expressed shock in front of Mitsuo and turned his face away in… shame. “… S-Sorry, I…” His voice was cracking a little. Mitsuo… he was an old name, an old face. An old member, and an old friend. Mura always felt so… so protective of the memories that this guild held. Now, one of those memories returned to become its future… he had to be harsh.

“Y-You weren’t aware of our principles, I can forgive that… but you know now. And until the weight in your heart disappears-“ Mitsuo’s Guild Mark would light up immediately, forcing the essence of his magic out – pure air of arcane essence, unlike the air around them which people breathe in - so strongly that, if it was underneath clothing, a hole would be torn off around the Guild Mark to expose it, “You will keep on reminding yourself of the duty you’ve taken. This world is filled to the brim with the worst kinds of people, all who will find themselves on a list… and we have many enemies, too. You only give them openings and time by inflicting needless pain onto them. Let the heavens and the other world handle that… you’re not the jury of souls. You only move the appointment closer. Do you understand my plead, Mitsuo? My predecessors… Sorano, Kanix, Heero… and Leonard… they would’ve all told you the same.”

On his Guild Mark was the same symbol of the flying Fairy with a spiky tail. However, a silver-like contour was donning around it… a change from the bronze-red contour before.

Mitsuo watched the look on Mura’s face, and the anger plastered there was impossible to miss. He expected yelling, but what he got was worse. The voice was harsh like a desert, sharp like the crack of a whip, and low as the grave that Mitsuo had dug himself with his actions. He would be strong, he kept telling himself. He wasn’t going to show his emotions here. He wasn’t going to show weakness, he was going to take the lashing like a man and whatever punishment was handed out to him, and he would show that he was strong in the process...

So why are you crying then? Did you even notice? I’m sure he has...

In truth, Mitsuo hadn’t noticed that tears had began pooling in his palm, striking the Fairy Tail symbol and rolling down as the young mage was being lectured. He knew he felt guilty, and bad, but to see his guild master so disappointed, so upset, so...angry...it was crushing him. As Mura mentioned if someone else had shown up and seen what he was doing, he tried to speak but could only sniffle instead, his voice completely gone. For someone who was never at a loss for words, today he was met with nothing but silence. It didn’t take too long, but it felt like an eternity; like Mura was throwing the book at him. Mitsuo was trapped in this place, hurting, embarrassed, and openly weeping in front of a person who’s respect he craved. How could Mura ever trust him now? How could he ever take him seriously? Surely he’d sent Mitsuo away, and he couldn’t say he didn’t deserve it...his dream was to one day come home, and he only got to come home for one day.

You messed up kid, and you deserve what he’s going to do to you...

Mitsuo was reminded of the problems that had come up with the guild when Mura listed the legal mages, guilds and organizations. It was a reminder that the guild was a shadow of what it had been when he had first come here, but also that it was still alive. Fairy Tail somehow, despite all of the trials and tribulations it had been through, was still here and still had people like Mura, Vandrad, Julius and yes, even Mitsuo himself, who cared for it so. He had been a fool, he hadn’t thought of the guild before taking his job, and at this point he just wanted to die. He wanted this to be over, the shame and pain of his mistake too much to bare. When Mura touched his heart he gasped in the way that someone who had been crying for an hour would, starving for air and in agony.

Mitsuo’s baby blue eyes were stained completely red from the salty tears and the strain he was being put through, but when it felt like Mura was reaching a point where he was going to truly lash out, something that was impossible not to feel, he would be met with something that honestly shocked him. Mura would turn away from Mitsuo, the feeling in the room completely changing before he apologized to the young wizard. Mitsuo took a second to pull his right sleeve down and wipe his face, noting that it was instantly soaked when he did so. He could still feel tears behind his eyes, but he managed to catch his breath while Mura took a second to recollect himself before continuing on. The tone had changed, and Mitsuo would feel the magic flowing through his guild tattoo which was lit up and exuding tremendous energy.

Mitsuo would take Mura’s next words to heart, his ‘punishment’ so to speak. He would give the young mage his mission, and leave him with a plea before mentioning the ones who came before; Kanix, who had worked with him on many jobs and whom he had considered a friend before her turn. Heero, the guild master whom had welcomed Mitsuo into the guild with opened arms and given him the family he so desired. Who had helped groom him into the wizard he had become. Leonard, the guild’s first master and the man whom had made all of this possible. He would calm down, the last of his tears streaking down his face before he wiped them away.

“I...I hear you, Master Mura...I will not take this for granted. I love Fairy Tail, love them more than anyone else. I love this guild like my own family...and I will not forget what you have said. I promise you this; my blade will not be wielded in anger, my kills will be swift and true...” He would breath in deeply, his voice shaky from what had just happened. He met the guild master in the eyes finally, sadness subsiding for passion and resolve and he removed his Blade of Atlas from the scabbard on his hip, putting it on the table in front of him and Mura. “I will be your blade. I will protect the guild with my life. I will kill those who need to die with no hesitation, no wasted movement. I am Mitsuo Takahashi, and on my sword, I swear to you that I will never let you down again. Anything you ask of me I will do.” He hoped that these words wouldn’t be misconstrued, he wasn’t trying to appease the master or suck up, he was absolutely serious.

The mark on his left forearm glowed still before returning to its regular cyan, and Mitsuo sighed once more. “Are you sure there’s nothing else I can do to make this up to you?”

Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (Mura) Empty Re: Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned (Mura)

Truly, Mura witnessed Mitsuo’s oath in person. He looked like a mess, really… had… had Mura terrified him so? The way that the Guildmaster acted before… it felt stinging in his chest, as if what he did was wrong and that he should’ve approached the Sign mage in another way. However, Mitsuo soon responded to him after a long while of sobbing… and truth be told, Mura wanted to cry alongside him.

But his eyes had cried plenty enough, and they were running out of tears. There must’ve been another way…

When Mitsuo swore an oath to chain his anger, for the sake of the troublesome guild that he loved so much, Mura saw a glimpse all of a sudden. Whether Mitsuo saw it or not was unclear to him in the instant that all of his vision was blurry and white, but he saw images… as if his mind and brain put up a slideshow for him. Mitsuo… of course he was still a member.

Just like he was a member back then.

    Back then…

    Back then…

    Ba-

The images of the past were no more. They were slid away by an invisible hand, clearing the way for a new image. It was no longer ‘back then’… for no matter how much, how much, how much he missed it – the past faces, the old eyes, the Mentor and the Master…

If not for the chain of events and all the searing, immeasurable pressure that had begotten the guild of Fairy Tail, then everything would’ve been so different today. Would he have been blessed with his hard-working Aces? Would he have become the Guildmaster? Would Fairy Tail still stand as strong and mighty yet simple and traditional as it did today? Would the walls still stand? Would Leo…

Would Leo be proud of him?

Once he thought of that, it finally got to him. A tear trickled down his cheek, wetting his face after so, so long… it overwhelmed him, that one tear. One tear was often enough to crack the window between two mindsets, that much Mura knew. So now…

When Mitsuo was done, while he still held his exotic sword out after his oath, Mura decided to lean down and pull back the blonde’s bangs. He planted his own, inner promise along with a light kiss on the Sign Mage’s forehead, regardless of how Mitsuo would process the action. Afterwards, the shaman would simply pull a wide grin, his teeth faintly reflecting the guild lights.

“As a Fairy Tail Mage, for as long as you follow the guild’s golden tale ‘till the end… then as Guildmaster, I’ll put all of my trust in you. I hope to mend the wound I must’ve caused you… that’s what I’m best at, if I say so myself. Hehe…”

Nothing can stand in my way on my metoric rise to the top. I'm going to achieve greatness. Let those who would oppose me be consumed by darkness and suffer.
To say that the guildmaster’s reaction had thrown him off a little bit would be a vast understatement. He would feel his face burn a deep crimson as confusion set in.

Maybe he likes you? You should kiss him back, otherwise you’ll never know

Mitsuo would shake the thought off. There was no way that was what Mura meant by his actions...or what it? He had never been good at figuring these things out, but he wish he knew. Mitsuo had always wanted to find someone to share that special kind of bond with but he was pretty sure that Mura was taken. His mind was racing at a million miles a minute, and he couldn’t remember what he was here for.

    You’re on a date, remember?

That didn’t seem right, but it could have been that...but if it was a date why were his cheeks so wet? Why was Mura crying too? What had Mitsuo said to ruin it? He had a tendency of being terrible at these kinds of things of course, and it was likely he had said something that he had thought was a good idea but had hurt Mura instead. He started fumbling over things he could say to make it better like I’m sorry, or AHAHAHA JUST KIDDING! But he couldn’t get to anything. If he could just remember what he had said it would be all okay. He began looking around for visual clues that might help him and then noticed that his sword was in his hand over the table.

You made an inappropriate comment about your sword, idiot...

There was no way that was it...or was it? He had to get out of there. He couldn’t think anymore. He could feel himself beginning to have a panic attack and he would stand up from his seat, looking super embarrassed and not meeting the guild master’s eyes. “I-I’m s-sorry Master Mura...” he would bow low and then run out the door, going straight home to berate himself over how stupid he was from the seclusion of his bed.
