Job Description: There's a request on the boards for the eradication of some sort of humongous beast covered in some sort of black corruption ooze. Whatever is infecting the creature is contagious and has made the creature four times the normal size and steeped in madness. The longer it lingers in the area, the more devastated the environment and anything in it becomes. Hunting and killing the beast will purify the area, but it won't solve the problem. It keeps happening all over the world, so maybe you should figure out what is causing it? Is it some spontaneous thing? Or maybe something in nature is causing it? Or maybe something supernatural? Many think there's a group of mages behind it, since there's no way a single crazed mage could be responsible. They'd have to be an impossible number of places at once.
