Personality: Takumi has always been the kind of person who does his best to put others first. Whether it be his children, his guild, his friends, or even just a random civilian, he tries to prioritize their happiness above his own. He’s unwaveringly loyal to the people he cares about, and does his best to protect them and everybody else who needs it. Some might say he borders on overprotective, but having lost people he loves in the past he’s determined to never lose anybody again. He’s also very fond of giving them random little gifts, or shows of affection, and often has little trinkets on him to give to the people he loves.

Takumi is a very emotional person, and one who is ruled by emotions more than logic. That’s not to say he isn’t smart, but most of the time he goes on instinct and reacts rather than plans. The type of person who loves the rush of adrenaline, he’ll almost never turn down a good fight. He’s spontaneous, odd, and illogical, but he also knows when to quit and will always stop and apologize in instances where he goes too far.

In a stark contrast to his younger self, Takumi refuses to drink alcohol, and would likely sooner drink vinegar. Instead he prefers eating sweets and drinking simple water or tea, wanting to set a good example for his two young children. He’s also become a big fan of cute and soft things, and will always stop to pet a cat or dog if the animal lets him. Whenever anything goes wrong, Takumi tries to take responsibility, regardless of whether he was actually the one in the wrong or not. He’d much rather take the blame then see anybody he cares about hurt or upset, and often takes punishments onto himself rather than let others suffer. In that way he is perhaps too self-sacrificing, but he refuses to let anybody get hurt under his watch.

• Chocolate and other sweets, he can’t handle spicy things and prefers the sweetness.
  
• Sparring and combat, it gives him a chance to work off steam and gives him a rush.
