- What:
Tura crouched on the roof of a house. The road sat far below him. Tii stood somewhere in the streets waiting for their backup. Or leader, depending on how one looked at it. They were still weak. Their magic hadn't been restored as of yet. Until they could stand shoulder to shoulder with the queen of ER, they'd bow to her superiority. The male dragonling had asked his sister earlier to deal with the queen. His tenuous grip on freedom happened to be dear to him. Tura didn't want to be made the plaything of yet another powerful female. A shudder ran through the dragonling. There had been enough of that in his lifetime already.
This high up in the mountains, Tura was forced to wear a long black fur-lined coat to appear normal. Ridiculous for a dragon to feel this quaint amount of cold. To rebel, he'd worn nothing under it other than black pants. Tii, on the other hand, wore a ruffled black skirt, tall combat boots and a top that revealed her stomach while hugging her neck. To sow a little chaos, the female dragonling ha also wrapped a cloth around her eyes to appear blind. She leaned against a building in plain view of the street. Men kept approaching her. Tura felt a little irritated at his sister's antics.
Could you focus on the mission, dear sister? Play with the mortals at some other time. The queen could arrive at any minute. Tii ignored her brother's telepathic message. She was enjoying herself. Males would approach only to notice something off about their intended prey. Tii switched it up depending on the scent of the male approaching. Sometimes, she'd have something extra between her legs. Other times, her 'blind' eyes would glow. For one male, her fingernails had lengthened into foot-long talons. It passed the time while she waited for this 'queen'. Pfft. Queen. Tii felt strongly that the matriarchs of their clan could bend the bimbo around one talon.
Tiisha. Please. Turashi tried again. His sister went on ignoring him. The male sighed. Why had he expected any different? Tii was used to males fawning over her. Females too if she showed interest. This far away from the clan happened to be the first time she hadn't immediately get what she wanted when she wanted it. She struggled with the new reality she'd chosen. Perhaps Tura should sell himself on the streets. Get Tii back the ability to have the lifestyle she liked. Tura shifted on the roof. The queen might be able to give him a loan. He tried not to think about what he'd have to do for that loan. If it made his sister happy, Tura would endure anything.
What are we doing here again? Tii asked her brother, finally growing bored of her game. Tura sighed, shifting his weight about. The roofs were designed strangely in this town. Without his talons, he found it difficult not to slide. Kidnapping some noble to further the queen's antiestablishment goal. She'll have more details when she arrives. I think. Tii sighed, picking her nails. I could just rampage instead. It'd create chaos and draw in those Rune Knights. Same thing right? Tura fought back the urge to strangle his sister. He hoped the queen would arrive soon. All this waiting was making both of the twins antsy.
