Arthur Harrington
HP: 2640/2640 MP: 1890/1890
Arthur's instructions had been frantically given to him as he was the only mage nearby when it happened. From what was being rattled off to him in a panicked tone, some type of ship had beached near the shore and their boat was in a rough state of repair. And given the paladin's proclivities towards emergency care, he was probably the one who would have been sent to deal with the issue regardless of the current lack of people in the room. Nodding, Arthur quickly equipped his armor before sprinting out of the guild hall. With a burst, the door to the grand hall blew open as Arthur was doused in the tropical sunlight. His bond with Helios was rather strong today, hopefully it would strengthen even more after he helped these people. Arthur quickly sprouted wings and flew up high into the air so that he could get a good vantage point to find where the crash had occurred. Seeing smoke rising in the distance, Arthur knew it had to be near that location. With a grunt, he thrust himself forward and adjusted to the change of his posture as he pretty much dove towards the smoking beach.
A few nerve-wrecking minutes later, Arthur found himself quickly approaching the sandy dunes of the clear watered beach. And it was definitely a large ship that had capsized of course, probably the same size of the boat he had worked on way back when he was doing jobs in Hargeon. Definitely the same size of that boat, if not larger. It was a pleasant thought, of his memories with his old crewmates, but not one that he wanted to linger on and thus make himself sad. Instead, the paladin focused on the task at hand, assessing the situation as he approached. Men and women of all shapes and sizes fled from the ship as they ran onto land and began coughing and throwing up water. They looked like they were in an awful state, some with burns and bleeding wounds. Looked like he'd have to get to work triaging, then, but since he had no information, he'd have to go by appearances. And by appearances, it was definitely the man with a wooden board sticking out of his abdomen. Approaching him quickly, Arthur cast a calming spell on him to soothe his nerves. That would do for now, the paladin thought as he tore away the sailor's shirt to look at the wound. Blood drenched his skin and skin puckered around the impaling wood. If he was an actual biological doctor, he would have left that in as it required precise surgery, but since he was greatly skilled in healing magic, Arthur could handle this the old fashion way. Even with all of Arthur's healing magic, the sailor sobbed in pain as the paladin pulled the board out and began casting healing magic over the man's body. Golden light transferred into his skin as the bleeding slowly stopped and splinters of wood rose out of the wound. He couldn't let an infection develop, that wouldn't do. Not soon after, the wound was closing itself up as the man's internal organs were regenerated from his magic. Definitely the right person to heal first, Arthur thought as he patted the man on his forehead and looked for his next patient.
Arthur froze as one of the sailors raised a magical gun to his forehead. It's not as if the thing would have killed him, but it certainly stopped the mage in his tracks. Arthur narrowed his eyes at the sailor, guessing this group to not particularly be sailors if their unmarked sail was anything to go by.
