Dungeon Rules
Welcome to the Rules page for the official Dungeons.
Dungeons, as opposed to jobs, are encounters designed to offer the player a certain aspect of randomness and luck, the word count being completed in the roleplay-thread following a set prompt that has to be rolled for with a special dice called the "Dungeon Encounter" dice. This dice, upon signing up for a dungeon, must be rolled once in order to determine the prompt your encounter will have to follow. Dungeons, as opposed to job threads, do not have a set word count that involved parties must hit in order to successfully complete the job. Instead, every participant, per 1,500 words that they write, will be allowed to roll a single "Normal Dice" upon turning in the dungeon thread. This word count is mutually exclusive, meaning that the word count of every player is separate from that of other participating players. The total number of pips from all rolls will be added together, the participant receiving the equivalent number of Dungeon Tokens, a currency which may be spent in our [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Participants will also receive a small number of EXP depending on their rank and the word count of the thread in question. EXP numbers, in accordance with our policies, will always be rounded down. Please note that EXP boosters, in any form, do not apply to Dungeons. Please also note that the gain of Dungeon Tokens may not be increased in any way. Dungeon Tokens may be traded to other characters.
