It had been a couple of days since the first meteor hit, and there have been reports of meteorite sightings all around Fiore. It was more of a rumor by a witness to these enigmatic meteorites, and a few would daresay the tale of the apocalypse is all but rubbish. It is extremely exaggerated, however, and it was baseless. Ozwald knew what these meteorites were, and all of them contained pieces of artifacts sent to this time period from the past by the Brass Seraphs. One of the artifacts, Huygen's Chamber, is in his possession.
The artifact was capable of enhancing the capabilities of certain spells of his, as well as giving him freedom to use these certain spells without the need to open his grimoire. These gems were then integrated to his weapon, a pair of knuckles attached to the gauntlets the gems are placed into. This allowed him to be extremely mobile whenever he would engage his opponents as he was not used to using spells to attack, not that he can't. All his life, he relied on what supplies he had, his skills as an adventurer, and his ingenuity to overcome his obstacles. Now that magic is part of his life, he will have to get used to using magic everyday.
According to the astrologians of the collective, one of the meteorites have crash landed on to the Phoenix Mountains, the place where the guild, Silver Wolf, can be found. The exact location of the crash site is unknown but, given the frigid weather in the Phoenix Mountains, it would be hard for him to find the meteorite on his own, thus he wanted to seek help from his fellow guildmates in order to retrieve it before it falls to the wrong hands.
Coincidentally, Ozwald had been summoned by the guild master, Leona, to undertake a mission. Ever since joining the guild, his trek to and fro along the Phoenix Mountains have started to become part of a routine for him. He has climbed up and down the snowy slopes of the Phoenix almost daily, and this has allowed him to improve his endurance in cold climates, which he is now accustomed to. Why he would not get a room for himself in the guild establishment is an enigma among his fellow guild mates.
He arrives in the foyer, sporting a fashionable leather winter coat with a fur collar to help keep him warm, and underneath this garb is his usual attire - white long sleeved shirt underneath a brown vest and an emerald green ascot wrapped around his neck. His black pants looked worn but seemed to be in perfect condition, and he had his goggles worn when he entered. He also wore his new pair of weapons to his disposal, and he just can't wait to use it. Stashed to his side is his book, the Chronicler's Grimoire.
Surveying the guild's foyer, he found the guild master.
"Greetings, guild master! I assume we're waiting for one more?" He approached her and engaged himself in a conversation. He was unsure how to address Leona properly given her position in the guild and all. He hypothesized that there would be more joining in on this mission. Looking at the blonde haired woman, he assumed that she's anticipating for another guild member. He had not met them personally, but he did see some of them lurking about when he comes to visit the guild. This would be a perfect opportunity for him to know first hand how a guild handles a mission.
